Re: Boston Shred Crew, The Sunday Sessions

HEY BRU! There's something quite fantastic about coming back to the modifieds after a looooooong holiday and finding Pete Bowler's blog right near the top and Ken Somolinos as a recent respondent. So, that's balls about your balls, and messed up about the dead lady! In a counter intuitive sense thou...

So, playing some footbag again, which feels amazing. Have had a couple of sessions since Narooma Jam at the end of Jan, but starting to be more deliberate about it. I've bought a house now which is across the road from a childcare center which has a great flat concreted carpark. Being a child care c...

Great to hear everything is going so well! When are you leaving for the states? Would be good to have a kick before you go and I'm considering coming up at Easter...

suprised no one has mentioned Lotus yet. As far as I know, "lotus" is a nickname, and not his actual given name. A while back I made a footbag player profile survey which asked a bunch of questions, and one was "favorite footbag nickname." Lots of good ones there. Lee Van Sickle is a good one, as i...

Flow

Quite likely posted here before but saw the below and it reminded me immediately of the feeling when playing footbag: The first half is a bit of a boring intro, the second half is relevant. My knee is still injured...

Well been busy, ridiculously hot, and sick. But played again tonight. Only half an hour, Dad came home and we got chatting and then I was too lazy to get going again :( Didn't get the last job, but had another interview yesterday which went even better than the last. Hopeful for this one :) Good new...

Hm, interesting but seems to distract from the actual shred? Anyway, each to their own good on him :)

Also that's a crazy amount of footbag in a row. I'm probably closer to having 1000 days in a row NOT playing footbag :(

That's always a good one. Also have a friend like Matt Cross does. He got really annoyed for some reason when he realised we had been giving him twist tops

Ah, see? Same distance, much more time. :P Interesting though. Played last night for an hour and tonight for 50mins. Damn if it don't feel good to be playing again! Been working heaps more on basics seeing some great improvements... my fairy set bs is starting to look good, as are DLO's. Being reall...

Sounds like some nice sessions :) Nice weekend too. I like bluetongue, but the green more than the blue. I wonder how much money she spent buying drinks she didn't like, maybe she should have just bought a bbq...

Let me know if you make it down to melb and I'll try to come down :)

Hm, sounds strange. It does ring a bell though. Seems so counter intuitive though... Is it the same distance = the same exercise benefits? Same time surely not, you are expending so much more energy running. Yeah meant to say sorry I didn't get to say goodbye... was a great weekend, thanks for makin...
