Re: Kankeri Japan

I have had two sessions since my last post. I haven't been sleeping well this last week. I have been doing things late at night, and then not being able to sleep. Looking forward to the holidays. 30 November 2020 - left-foot-set around the world in-out x100 (four sets of 25) - gyro clipper > vortex ...

Welcome back! Great to see you are alive and well.

I enjoyed reading your updates. Does this mean you will perhaps be posting more here, including some shred updates?

Re: Kankeri Japan

Didn't have a lot of time yesterday, but managed a shut-up-and-shred session. I had eaten way too much yesterday which was in part why I squeezed a sesh in. I wasn't planning on one since hack is on tonight due to Dave Leberknight being in town. Fun stuff awaits. 25 November 2020 - right-foot-set gy...

Re: Kankeri Japan

It has been a bit quiet around here recently. I hope everyone is well. I have had a handful of sessions recently, just haven't gotten around to typing up the notes here. I appreciate that Ken took the time to analyse my game and commented that my flip pixie (likely flip toe set stuff really) was wea...

Re: Kankeri Japan

Had a kick yesterday which is likely part of the reason I am pooped today. I think another thing is the weather; it has been cold (8.9C or 48F) windy as (47kmh on average, or about 30mph), and rainy for the last couple of days. Nothing like riding a bike to work in this weather! 9 November 2020 - AT...

Re: Kankeri Japan

I took some notes from my last sesh but they are in my office so will post again on Monday. It turns out that was incorrect; I did NOT take any notes from my last session. I wrote down to do ATW i-o x80, but actually only did about 20 before I started just messing around. Will likely have a sesh to...

Re: Kankeri Japan

Have not been on top of the ATW practice for my left toe, but still not that concerned. I took some notes from my last sesh but they are in my office so will post again on Monday. Until then, here is a shortish run with some zoom practice. I hope it is educational and enjoyable: https://www.youtube....

Yeah Ken, great post. I have only talked with Rippin once, but definitely got that feeling. Thanks for sharing. What a loss, but what a blessing to have him in our community.

Re: Kankeri Japan

I had my first session in just under two weeks due to being under the weather. I didn't think I would push that hard going into the sesh since I assumed I would be slightly rusty. Turns out that wasn't the case. I felt great and had plenty of runs that felt nicely both-sided (with pixies at least). ...

Re: Japanese Footbag Champs 2020

Wow there are a handful of people I have never seen. Great! Plus, one of them hit rubberman! Also great to see Zen-san continue to shred. Plus he hit spender! Oh man I can't wait to kick with them sometime. Thanks for this Ken, made my night.

Re: Kankeri Japan

Just coming out of a slight cold. Stayed home for the last 3 days. Feels great to get out. I had thought about taking this week off of shred since I have been sore for a minute it seems. This thought was followed up with getting sick which is further motivation for resting. I am glad I got some foot...

Re: RIP!

Nice TJ! I need to get back into these. Thanks. One of my better ones... I find them much easier to shoot, edit, and upload than a shred video. You have some good ones too. Looking forward to seeing one again! Also, RIP: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/10/02/nyregion/stephen-barnes-dead-plane-crash.ht...

Re: Kankeri Japan

... smashed my leg into one of the spray metal holders. It is sore and hopefully can manage a shred today. My leg is better now, but did make kicking hard last week. I have had a few sessions since my last post here. 5 October 2020 - gyro osis x18 - left foot set i-o atw x50 - op toe > op inside se...

Re: Canberra, Australia via SCL - Daniel Boyle

Sounds like a heart attack or similar. I remember reading he couldn't play so much because he was having some kind of health issues, might be related. Sad news. It is so sad. Reading that, I seem to remember him saying something of the sort, that due to health reasons he couldn't kick. Our lives ar...

Re: Canberra, Australia via SCL - Daniel Boyle

There was just a message that Larry Workman has passed away. (https://www.facebook.com/groups/footbag/permalink/3704991809538993) - I never met Larry but he was really positive, often left nice comments on my videos etc. I was literally in tears reading this news. They already lost a daughter, some...
