Yea, indoor shooting is kinda tricky (as you could see from the Helsinki sportshouse arena pics - somewhat blurry).
But when you get the tricks to it, it's doable... I used a Olympus C-7070 (7.1 megapixel) and an external flash (occasionally).

I'd say mainstream is evil, but still watchable. I'm kinda into so to say 'deep' stories. Well either that or just nice artwork. A cliche', but still deserving it: Ghost In The Shell. And other stuff like Blood: The Last Vampire, Cowboy Bebop... Anything creative and including fresh, kinda crazy ide...
