Part of the problem is that a decade ago the record companies were a means to get bands distributed. Now those same companies are "creating" those bands. They suck, 99% of them. And then the industry blames downloading for poor sales. How about the fact that your pop community finally got it's fill ...

Another hypothetical: If I live in a state that always votes Republican by a large majority, I know casting a vote for the Democratic party in that state means zero because of the electoral college. I might feel pretty apathetic about the voting at all as my vote really and truly doesn't count even...

You can't blame a state for having more population than other parts of the country. In fact, you can't delineate between states - it's not that California, New York, and/or Texas would decide who's president, it's that the US population would decide. So what if there's more people in NY than in Alam...

I heard there is a possibility of Bush winning the popular vote, but losing the electorial vote(which we saw last election with Gore) If that happens, is Kerry the unelected president? Is he not the real president? -n This has happened (recently and a while ago) a few times in history. Electoral is...

Stick with it
This may be my first thread start here on modified, so all the "new thread haters", cut me some slack, mmmkay? ;) So, just thought I'd ramble for a few minutes. Waiting for a delivery from fedex (new sound card :) ), and have some time... I've been "hacking" for years, but really just got into frees...

Finally hit ducking mirage \o/ Question: does paradox ducking mirage "exist" i.e. does it still get the "paradox" add = 4 adds? (left clip, duck, left mirage) Seems like it should to me... it would seem silly that a duck would cancel out a paradox, aye? yes it does Is there a "short" or special nam...

As far as dragging religion into the equation - I think it's really inevitable (well, it's already happened of course). But, the problem, in my opinion, is how far behind the catholic church is in relation to reality in 2004. When I was growing up, in the 70s and 80s, you heard about stuff like "hel...

Matt - I see you're point - it's a good one. However, I'm of the opinion that if you're going to fight that fight, do it right. The more heat in the fire, the better - make this the big issue that it really is - don't dillute it. Besides, I can just see the new forms, and discrimination that would f...
