Eh, figured i'd update because i like the community here. I have had next to zero time to just stand aroun and have dedicated hack sessions, trying to get a career started which is a full time job in it's own in addition to my part time job i have already. I kick around on my breaks at work and when...

The moves that you should really really really drill are clipper atw pickup mirage butterfly legover ilussion If you can hit all of those BSOS (both sides one string) then you will have a really solid foundation and you will progress a lot quicker. Ok, learned left foot mirages much faster then exp...

wow, my bags and hanias look incredibly alike!!! Yeah, they both have that meticulously stitched/spit out by a machine look moreso then my narancsbag which has a couple tiny folds on some tris that aren't on others. Both your bags look absolutely perfect in every way. On a side note, when i ordered...

if you don`t like too floppy bags, try one of mine!!!! Well the Brianbag is fairly floppy and i love it. The Hania may or may not be too floppy for me, i frankly haven't played with it that much to really have a preference. I'm the type of guy that will start on one thing till it doesn't wor...

Narancsbag from our very own Tom Tilly, Bearbag facile from Brian Bear and Haniabag, in back, Fleabag who wandered into my picture. The Narancsbag is a bit dirty because that's my current bag i'm using. It sets super well and ...

Thanks for your input everybody. Couldn't sleep as usual so i decided to watch some true crime shows and kick around a bit in my room. I'm getting Mirages pretty close to consistent with my right foot. Unlike ATW's they don't feel natural at all with my left. It's gonna be tough to not get one sided...

I weigh 180.

I'm also 6 foot 4 so i'm quite thin. I'm actually one of those guys that struggles to keep weight on as oppose to lose it, i'm down from 192 when i quit working out to finish school.

People say i look like a dork doing it. Then i show them a video of Vasek i found on youtube. THey see that and they're absolutely blown away.

I don't think anybody that's really good at it doing it in public will get hated on much. It's impossible to see it and not be impressed.

Is myachi popular? I can honestly say before this thread i had never heard of such a thing in my life. The kids in the commercial however had clearly been doing it for quite some time. I think it looks really lame personally, but hey, all my friends think i'm a dork for doing footbag. Different stro...

I was wondering about this. I'm very active, i lift weights for my upper body and ride 90 miles a week for legs and cardio on my bicycle. I got to the point where even my 30 mile rides would hardly have me breaking a sweat. 2 hours of footbag and I'm pouring sweat and it feels like my calves, ass an...

Re: Hi!

Building blocks are key, which is why I'm stressing the basic drills. :) Fantastic advice on the drills. I decided to do right toe stall, left toe stall, right ATW till i had it dialed in and bam, i'm now hitting them almost every time. The drill repitition really got me used to isolating the 2 mov...

Thanks for the tips. I get a little restless trying to just focus on one thing so i think i'm gonna continue to work on my left foot clipper stalls and ATW's but also start working a little on mirages. It's a hot, beautiful day and I'm about to go do some footbag

Baserock Love's Footblog. Come in. Help the new guy out!

So I decided to do the foot blog if only to get advice on the natural progression of what i should be trying to learn and when. A couple weeks ago, when i got back into footbag again I could do all the basic kicks (inside, outside, toe, knee) and I could do toe stalls "most of the time". I immediate...

Hey man, whatever works for you. Cutting out the first eyelet just gave me more room on the toebox without those side-rails, I kinda prefer it that way, suddenly I've found it easier to set/land all sorts of 1-dex moves I couldn't do before... I like the more thicker surfaces on my sides and a thin...

If the bag lands in the right place for my stalls it doesn't seem to matter if i can feel it or not. Although i must say moving from a 30 gram plastic filled juice up to a metal filled 65 gram freestyle bag, i can feel it anyways. This is how I feel about it. Bearing that in mind, i prefer to have ...

Colin, Glad to hear that the unmodded Lavers are working out for you! Mine are actually less modded than most so I can relate, to an extent. All of the mods that I've seen for lavers, with the exception of a few of the more recent ones, involve cutting off the inside fabric to leave the thinner mes...

wait, i'm a little confused. almost every random mod video and writeup i've seen has said to trim the outside material from lavers leaving the cottony stuff on the inside behind. The reasoning being that the cottony stuff grips the footbag and is flimsier to allow it to cup the bag a bit better. I'm...

I was house sitting for a friend when i was about 11 and i found an original first run hacky sack with instructional booklet still in the package. It was made of the thickest, most stiff leather i had ever seen, very egg shaped and filled to the brim with beads and hard as a rock. I don't think anyb...
