Re: JDill's Progress

Not a lot to report recently as I've been preparing and eventually competing in Debate Districts. The bad news is I appear to have lost my clipper. The good news is I'll be going to Nationals in Lincoln Douglass debate this summer. Hoping to start working on my dexes more, if I can get my clippers b...

Re: Footbag shoes

Not really the most qualified to answer your question, but from what I understand shoes with flat toes and wide, sort of cupped sides are the best. Rod Lavers by Adidas are considered the best by 99% of people who footbag, and they're fairly cheap, too. http://www.zappos.com/adidas-originals-rod-laver

Re: JDill's Progress

Today I believe I can say that I am now consistent with my clippers! I drop them every now and then, but I'd say I stick 'em about 70 percent of the time! Now my plan is to start working on getting my sets a little bit more accurate, so that I can hopefully start stringing stalls together into somet...

Re: Most durable Ultrasuede Light colors?

I don't think they sell aqua on fields anymore but NEVER buy that shit. Also stay away from purple shadow and suny sienna. I just bought about 7 more colors yesterday including topiary, ceramic something and saffron. I know nothing about these colors but I will mostly certainly keep you updated. I ...

Re: Most durable Ultrasuede Light colors?

Basically all USL is good for footbags, I've noticed that some of the browns and greens seem a little thicker then the rest of the colors but if you stick with the basics like flash red, county cream, black, etc. you can't go wrong. What I did when I started was I bought the 18 piece variety sample...

I'm in southwest Missouri, in the US. Not really a big footbagging community out here, but hopefully it'll grow. Thank you for the kind words!

Most durable Ultrasuede Light colors?

I'm wanting to try my hand at stitching my own bags, and I've heard that there are differences in the durability and texture of different colors of Ultrasuede light. Is this true? If so, what would you consider the best for footbags? Any that I should avoid at all costs?

Re: The 2013 Book Challenge

1.The last Policeman, Ben H Winters---Fantastic read in my opinion. Went in not knowing what to expect, finished it dying for the second book to be out. Still waiting on that. 2.The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Douglas Adams---Read all 5 books, as a sort of challenge to myself to actually finis...

JDill's Progress

Well, I've only recently made the transition from hacking to footbagging, and progress is slow, but it's still progress. Today I made myself do toe stalls (alternating feet) until I was able to hit 10 in a row each, so 20 altogether. This took about 25 minutes, but having finished felt so rewarding....
