Re: Quantum 1234
That was a fun watch. How many pairs of the Q3s did it take to last 13 or so years? Those ones generally break really easily. I like the look of the green ones. I have the blue ones. I had 6 pairs of Q3s total (2 from the original batch and then 4 additional ones when planetfootbag was clearing out...

Quantum 1234
Check out my new video with a historic retrospective of the shoes I've played in since 2004! Also, a big shout out to Dexter Struz and Planetfootbag for their efforts on the Quantum shoe project and to World Footbag and Freedom Footbags for helping to distribute them in North America. Thanks to them...

Re: Ask Me Anything
What is the weirdest thing that you've ever swirled? whirled? around the worlded? How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop? Have you ever thought about learning one handed handstands and then trying to juggle on the back of your hands? If so, what would you call this activity?

Re: Starting over
Wow the combo came out great! Muted nuclear looks so cool and I love that you got it both sides! Props! Here's another challenge that you could try: muted neo far clip > pdx illusion (or mirage) inside stall > muted neo near guay> rpt > far eggbeater toe > near eggbeater toe > rpt (if you want to sp...

Re: Starting over
That last video was egg cellent! Also, props on the inside everything video from a few weeks back. I think we are probably the only two players to ever hit that drill, so welcome to the exclusive club! I have been inspired to try inside stuff again from your videos and am working on integrating some...

Rory Dawson Routines - Video Series
This is the first installment of my competition routine series where I will film some of my favorite routines in HD for posterity: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOgRtzL1EzU I first performed the Blur - Song 2 routine in 2007 at the World Footbag Championships in Florida, then again in 2008 at the ...

Re: Kankeri Japan
Congratulations on the baby! Also, very exciting news that you'll be moving back to Japan. It feels like a million years ago that we visited Tokyo at the same time for nationals. I am getting back into a video editing habit and hopefully will finally release some more of the videos from that trip so...

Re: Canberra, Australia via SCL - Daniel Boyle
Congratulations on the 5 add trick session! Kevin and Byrin used to do sessions like that where they would try and hit as many 5 or 6 add moves as possible. It is a good way to practice for sick trick.

Re: Starting over
I really like the inside stuff you are playing around with. The inside rake thing in an earlier post blew my mind. I went through a phase of learning inside stall tricks a few years ago and still enjoy working them into combos. I think it is a really under explored concept. I challenge you to hit "i...

Re: Kankeri Japan
Here are the comments from facebook on your routine for your reference: Daniel Boyle - Nice movement across the stage. I was hoping it was going to be a Rocky style entrance when you came out through the boxing bags! Rory Dawson - Very relaxed! My favorite part was the head butt. A rocky style entra...

Re: May Madness Consecutive Kicks Competition (1 minute)
Here are my entries for posterity! I tried a few different styles to see how they would compare: Freestyle kicks (82) - https://youtu.be/PfwGg656y7o Knee > Knee (123) - https://youtu.be/ogTlQM4r1pc Knee > Inside (126) - https://youtu.be/PIOAkeq4Odc I knew the freestyle kicks wouldn't be as high, but...

Pender Island 2019
Last year I went to visit Matt Emmings' resort on Pender Island and we had a small jam with Allan. The resort is absolutely magical and Matt did a great job hosting us. We went on several hikes around the resort and island exploring mossy woods and hidden beaches. If you are ever in the neighborhood...

Here are my answers for the province of Alberta in Canada. I'll probably do one for all of Canada too, but I thought I would start with my province since it is geographically quite large (about the same size as France) and also quite isolated. - How is the scene at the moment (early 2020) Unfortunat...
Re: Fanzine
There was some really great stuff from Daryl in that video! He always looks so relaxed and controlled when he plays and I've always been a fan of his muted combos. I have also considered quitting facebook in the past. It is really tough decision though because it is the main way that I communicate a...

Re: TMNT Have Nothing On This Shredder
More and more recently I find myself less excited to goto tournaments. The training required and style of play to do well at competitions or get into BAP is for me a 1-way train to injured/burnt out town. I understand the zombie feeling. Sometimes I like to play that way too. My favorite thing when ...

Re: Rory in Montreal Trilogy - video 1 / 3 so far
This was a really fun session! I can't believe we played this well after already being tired from climbing up the mountain. My friends who joined us later ended up lying down on the sidewalk because they were so tired. I think my favorite part was making the random girl go 'OMG' when I did the midst...
Re: mc
I really dislike dropping. I always try and save the bag especially during performance, but also in competition. That being said I will let the bag drop in exceptional circumstances where if by saving the bag I might injure myself or kick the bag really far away or into a hazard.

I am still kicking! My goto session bag is the multicolored one that I bought from you in Tokyo. It broke in to be LARGE and in CHARGE. Maybe next session I will try some zooming too.
