Re: Online footbag routine comp Spring 2020

I agree that tributes should be possible, and they can be something cool. But I'd say the same rules should apply that usually apply for remix vs. plagiarism: You need to add enough of your own creative work to create something new and unique. Don't think that was the case with Bruce, haven't compar...

Re: Fanzine

Hey Ken, I'd thought I'd leave this here as I know you're not on Facebook (me neither): There was a misunderstanding between Sergio Garcia and me before I updated the website, and he never noticed the information on the website was not the way he wanted it to be. It is only required to show or say t...

Re: Online footbag routine comp Spring 2020

Did anyone notice that Bruce Li copied Clavens´ 2010 routine? He did adapt it to his trick selection, but it was a very obvious copy of the choreography. I think this is a first, never heard about this happening before. How do you feel about this? I think it should be penalised, as coming up with a ...

And just in case you found the website a bit confusing (as I did), it should be much better now. There is also more information on video entries.

It's weird being from a generation where there are so few of us... I'm close to Ken, just 2 years behind... I can't really think of anyone else who's still active. James Risden maybe? Penske? I'm not sure when everyone started... Adam Keith I think. Who else, Ken? There still is a few people from t...

Re: Fanzine: Vlog!

Hey Ken, I just wanna chime in real quick and comment on Euros judging, as I was running the comps: Firstly, there were unexperienced and even non-footbag judges on the panel, because that was the way Arthur wanted it to be. Secondly, and more importantly, Mariusz' routine left a far bigger impressi...

Footbag World Map

i just came up with this idea that might actually might make a lot of sense: having vague plans of a trip around the world at some point in the next couple of years, i would love to visit footbag players along the way and go to events. what if there was a map where every player/club around the globe...

ah cool, thanks for clarifying that.
i assume the polyurethane sole still has the same durability issue, as it tends to get a crack across... will take a while before i get to wear the ones i just bought, still a few in line before ;)
