It's my fiip in-out that gets me most of the time. I think it's way harder than it seems it should be, but also really good because you are training on all the different ways in one go.
Yeah I agree. That being said, I also feel that I should be doing many more single ATWs to improve.

Re: Kankeri Japan

Kicked again yesterday. I haven't been sleeping as many hours as I would like. This is mostly due to being busy with other projects. My plan (i.e., the only thing I wrote down before kicking) was to drill stepping muted op clipper. However, by the time I got to it I was tired, and my feet were a bit...

Breaking 10 gyro clipper is quite good, feels so easy to get 6-7 then there is a wall!
Yeah, a wall of dizziness for sure. I feel like I should be able to do them as well as osis. But then that wall finds itself in front of me.

Re: Canberra, Australia via SCL - Daniel Boyle

Today I hit something that I probably should have done long ago, but don't think I even have completed it. DATW in both directions, on both side, in the same run. Also one after the other on either foot. The right foot one came after a double pickup as well, so I was going alright on the double dex...

Re: Kankeri Japan

I took last Friday off and caught up with some mates. That is a nice option to have, instead of having the weight of Worlds on my shoulders. That being said, I am sad that it is finished; I enjoy the push that Worlds brings with it. Here are the notes I took from yesterday's session: - I worked on z...

Nah don't think so.

But if it turns up in New Zealand I will let you know.

Re: Mathieu

Well done!

I do a 5-minute workout in the morning, and stretch just before bed everyday. That, coupled with riding to and from work everyday, has made it hard for me to gain weight. Having a chef as a wife can help and hurt that though...

Re: Worlds 2020: Top 8 Shred Offs

 When Modified changed domain and became Modified.IN, I remember a banner was created and added to the rotation that had a green silhouette of India and the words: "Modified. The pride of India" on it. That always made me laugh for some reason and I immediately thought of it when I read your w...

Re: Sad its over, glad it happened

To me though, it was totally worth it.  Maybe those 3 tricks won't make a difference in my ranking, but now I can look back on this tournament and know with certainty that I gave it my all.  That means a lot to me.   ... I can say I am proud of my performance at Worlds.  Finding that peace and clos...

Re: Kankeri Japan

Had another kick yesterday. I ran a workshop from 4 to 5 which finished a bit late (since it started late), so only had about a 30-minute session. Here are the notes I made (rfs = right foot set): gyro osis > gyro clip x 5 rfs gyro clipper x 9 gyro osis > spinning osis x 4 blender > gyro osis > bs d...

Re: Mathieu

Fever seems gone now, just waiting for covid results but I am not too worried Great to hear! I accepted the fact to not push my hardest and still believe if I can come close to rank 7 I will be very satisfied, and even finishing 10th would still not be something to be ashamed of! I agree. I was so ...

Re: Kankeri Japan

I played today and it was the first time I was just kicking around, trying some new tricks and not thinking about Worlds. Felt good. Great to hear. I enjoy the push of worlds for sure. I feel like prep for Worlds alone pushes you in a different direction, and I can feel the benefits. That being sai...

Re: Mathieu

Edit: still slight fever and had to do a covid test :( Waiting for results, but yeah no hard mode routine now as I am in quarantine until results come. My body is weak too so meh! Hoping for the best, friend. Daniel is right; you have done an awesome job both as an organizer and as a player...don't...
