Re: Kankeri Japan

Just got my shred-off video uploaded. I have mixed feelings about the entry, and I think it stems from the fact that this round is 1-vs-1. Here are my thoughts: Pawel is really good. I watched his previous entries and made notes about his tricks. I can't match them. Then again, it is not necessarily...

Re: Kankeri Japan

Here are the comments from facebook on your routine for your reference: Daniel Boyle - Nice movement across the stage. I was hoping it was going to be a Rocky style entrance when you came out through the boxing bags! Rory Dawson - ... A rocky style entrance would have been cool, but next time I thi...

Thanks for posting. Glad that Ken made it through! Too bad that Taishi didn't make it, but oh well; some people are really good at footbag!

Re: Canberra, Australia via SCL - Daniel Boyle

Like the painting. Is that somewhere in NZ? Yup, it is just up the west coast from Wellington. I took a tour of the art gallery and one of the things mentioned was how when Pākehā (NZ Europeans) came to NZ and saw places like Mana island, they saw a location void of life (since no one lived on it) ...

Re: Dizzying Worlds Developments

One weird feeling I've been struggling with throughout these Worlds has been my strong desire to comment candidly on the competition (like an announcer at the Olympics)...which I have to keep in check since I'm ALSO a competitor in said competition. Yeah I was surprised how quiet you had been these...

3 bags juggling!
Nice work! What is your record for three bag? I think mine is 21 catches. I should practice that more. Why do I only bring 2 bags with me to sessions?

Re: World's 2020

Top 16 just got announced. Interestingly, I have been in pools with Pawel throughout the tourney so far. Now I am paired with him in the next round of shred-off.

Re: World's 2020

So I assume that Shred-off Top 16 hasn't been announced yet with the intent of leaving us on edge about who made the cut? Holy shit THIRD top post painting today! Onward; Caroline Williams; 1987; VUW 1987.5 https://images.ehive.com/accounts/3332/objects/images/379fc26cd81a451ea87f7603493d9be6_l.jpg

Re: Canberra, Australia via SCL - Daniel Boyle

Yeah I like it. It reminds me of those videos where one thing is happening in the foreground at normal speed, and things are zooming around in the background at high speed. You would have made an even bigger impact with the take with Nico pissing in the bush though. EDIT: TOP POST PAINTING! Mana Isl...

I believe they are going to post the full scores at some point, I have a feeling you would probably have been close to Pawel, as he had a couple of drops.
I see. Well we will see! I hope they give individual scores instead of total (which I assume they will).

Re: Worlds Online routine qualification - Open and Intermediate

Wow! Thanks for that; I hadn't gotten around to it. If I read things correctly, he place first in his pool which means he will be in finals. So great to see Japanese footbaggers at Worlds!

Re: Kankeri Japan

So routine results have been posted and I didn't make the cut. I placed third, meaning I am within the top 15 players this year for routines. That is a number I can live with, for the aforementioned reasons. We are still waiting to find out Shred-off and sick 3, so I am not out completely yet. EDIT:...
