Re: Canberra, Australia via SCL - Daniel Boyle
I first started playing hacky in about 97, my first year of high school. I didn't really get into tricks for a long time. I was there at the Australian Champs in 2001 but I didn't know any tricks! It took me a while to get right into it, I think I got my first Lavers in 2005. I think both are a good...

Re: Canberra, Australia via SCL - Daniel Boyle
I've done up a video of some kicking while I was in Chile. Came out reasonably well.

Re: Canberra, Australia via SCL - Daniel Boyle
We had some good experiences in Chile...we just got back today and I'm running low on energy. The carnival is like the "regional" carnival, so each school has their representatives to do their races - they all have their own supervision but it's still a big day out. My flip blurry whirl is still not...
Re: Mathieu
Nice one, that's pretty wild. Maybe someone like Honza or Jim has also hit that. For the top post painting, I've actually put in a little video. We went to an exhibition at "Artequin" which is mainly a kids art museum, they had this exhibition about mosaics in Italy. It was really well set up and qu...

Re: Canberra, Australia via SCL - Daniel Boyle
Our trip continues. I mentioned I was getting in good session times but I haven't so much in the recent days. We're staying in an apartment now close to where my wife grew up. It doesn't really have much of a playing space, and we've had a lot of things on. https://twitter.com/capitaleyes/status/170...

Re: Kankeri Japan
I really haven't put any thought into it as yet haha. My wife has visited before and my Dad said he is interested to go - he has also visited before. I'm sure we would go to Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka. I imagine if we go in the school holidays we can probably do about a ten day trip so we will just see wha...

I reckon that spinning and ducking repeating combo is exactly the kind of stuff you should be doing.
How about spinning ducking clipper>gyro clipper>ducking osis rpt

Re: Kankeri Japan
I'm hoping to get to Japan in the next year or two. We have started putting a little bit more thought into it and the idea seems to be getting some traction within the family.

Re: Stuff n Junk w/ Crowley
If there's 8-10 teams of what, 4 people each, that's a bigger turnout than most footbag tournaments these days.
Re: Mathieu
I see you've been working on the genuine stuff - it's really hard not to drop down back to BOPs. I've been inspired by you and a couple of others to get a bit more into that. 30 seems a good target. I think 23 is my best so far.

I'm hoping to go to Worlds next year. We'll see what happens. I know reading the press in Colombia the people reporting that were talking about strong possibilities of Montreal.
The year is certainly flying by...but don't we have a couple of days of September left?

Re: Canberra, Australia via SCL - Daniel Boyle
I had that trip to Sydney. Not much in terms of footbag, I will still not in top health, coming pretty good by now though. I actually lost about 5kg or more basically from being sick. Thrice were great, that album is awesome. Got to catch up with some family, so that was good too. Went to watch the ...
