The problem is not the footbag. But I recommend practicing with a 14 or 32 panel (pellet/rock/tungsten fill) instead of a sandbag, because that way you learn to stall better. Maybe some American stitcher can make you a bag with 15 bucks.

It will take weeks or months before it really is consistent and feels natural. That's how it is for anyone.
