Re: Muffinman
Thanks guys! Yeah, RE: back pain, almost every day leading up to when I started my TMS recovery I would have bouts of pain that would prevent me from doing most things. I couldn't go for walks, I couldn't even stand and play VR for longer than like 15 minutes, etc. Day one of TMS I was pain free and...
Re: Toolman
Was gonna comment but realized that I already did on Youtube lol. The first outdoor sessions of the season always feel amazing. It’s great that you’ve been able to manage that so early in the year. It’s pretty cold still up here!

Re: Kankeri Japan
I always found toe inspinning easier than toe backspinning. Maybe worth a shot if you haven’t tried? That’s rad about the club stuff, but, yeah, tricky grey area! Hope you figure it out! I think we looked into this at some point and as long as a certain number of members are students then we would’v...

That’s awesome about the footbag exposure you’re giving! How old are the kids?
Also congrats on the car and your other purchases! That’s a big deal!

Re: TMNT Have Nothing On This Shredder
Before Xmas my younger cousin ODed, and my brain still feels so mush. Haven’t felt able to properly human, outside of interactions with Cass. Think not being able to go back home and solidify everything is messin’ with me. But, what’re you gonna do? Such interesting times. I'm so sorry to hear this...
Re: Muffinman
Heeey, it's been a while. Looking back, it looks like the last time I "played" was June 28, 2020 -- Recovery Session #9: And the gap between that and the previous session was 2 months?? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uo5CYy_M-lM DYLAN FRY AND HEALING BACK PAIN WITH TMS Last winter Dylan Fry was liv...
Re: bad injury luck!
Didn't you judge one of the events? Would love to hear your perspective on that experience! Yeah, I judged Sick 3 for Open, Intermediate, and Women's. I went in with the understanding that people would expect execution to be judged very precisely, so I put in 110% effort to slow-mo frame-by-frame e...

Wow, lots of 5s!
Your Worlds shred was incredibly impressive, btw! You're such a consistent player with lots of huge tricks! Just hitting a bunch of 5s sounds really fun too

Re: Kankeri Japan
It's my fiip in-out that gets me most of the time. I think it's way harder than it seems it should be, but also really good because you are training on all the different ways in one go. This is my exact problem too! I started as a stronger in-to-out player, but these days out-to-in is so much easie...
Re: Fanzine
Great thoughts! Very interesting about Taishi! I'm not sure I saw the documentary you mentioned though, can you link it? This would have been a fun Worlds for me to compete in, but I was injured, and even though I had just started to play again I didn't want to push myself because I knew I would re-...
Re: Olav
Hey Olaf! So great to see you posting here again! It sounds like you plan to start playing again? I'm so excited for that. My fiance and I have been meaning to visit Vancouver for a while now, maybe we can connect in the near future :) Great to see your professional work too, though I remember you s...

Great painting!
Also, love the toe tricks -- incredibly smooth form on everything! You make it look way too easy

Re: Muffinman
Appropriate, thanks Ken! Haven't played since my last post. Started getting nerve pain down my leg, like sciatica (though my physiotherapist nor back specialist referred to is as such). Hoping to try playing soon. Got a box of tapes from Mathieu GM the other day, originally from Yacine, so convertin...

Re: Fanzine
Thanks for your thoughts on BAP a bunch of posts back. Great reasoning and insights! Also interesting to read your continuing thoughts on Worlds. It's an interesting year for competition. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5db7168521bb7642d02ed3fd/1577344833464-8U3837NZZSEUS6ZHTGAN/ke17Zw...
Re: Muffinman
Yeah, I could use better balance. I wish I could slow down my game somehow. Just be less spastic and be more smooth. Anyway, had another solo session. Was super stiff to start, but warmed up after a while. Oof, my body takes so much longer to recover now that I'm getting pretty close to 40! I'm supe...
