19, 20 in May. I always tried different sports like, soccer, baseball, etc.. when I was younger. I sucked at all of the above and my parents probably thought i was gay. Then I got into footbag later on in about 9th grade and still play it as my number one activity... now they really think i'm gay :P...

Ankle Weights for practicing: Good Idea? Bad Idea?
Is it a bad idea to wear light ankle weights while practicing? Or would it benefit? I used to do it a while ago, and it really built up my calf muscles, but then stopped wearing them because my friend told me I could blow fluid in my knee, and I enjoy having fluid in my knees, so I stopped. But i wa...

I agree that you need to work to get better, but I disagree that work cannot be fun. I'm working hard, progressing, and still having fun. I def. agree with Bob here, that style may work for some people, but it reminds me too much of Hacky Sack Boot Camp or something. I like to mod my practices; dri...

Take a Fresh-Starting Footbagger Under Your Wing?
Hey, I'm kinda new to modified, but not to the footbag world. This is my first Topic, so I was just wondering if anyone ever took a just-beginning footbag player under their wing and if you had any words/anecdotes/stories about it? I'm 19 and this is my 5th year playing footbag; 2nd year getting rea...

it always makes my head feel better. You can say that again ;) (only used responsibly, of course aka: DON'T smoke weed 'err day) but as for head trauma, marijuana's got some benefits that would help with some head-related mishaps, such as head aches, and whatnot, but with respect to head trauma, if...

I did the same sorta thing for a little while too, just tried to go for bigger tricks on my strong side, rather than work on my flipside. I started drilling my tricks probably beginning of this year, after my first tournament, Funtastik, which was a great experience and everyone I met there was so a...
