Megatron in San Diego

Post by richardabshire » 13 Jun 2011 10:15

Last weekend I had a chance to shred with Milan Benda aka Megatron while he was in town. Not a very long session, but pack with great runs, awesome combos and a few tricks that were to insane to mention. Milan is truly a groundbreaking shredder. It was a honor to meet him and shred with him. Best of luck in Finland Milan.

Did you guys get any footage? I've seen his routines and big 3's and stuff, but not so much casual shred. Been dying to see what kind of stuff he busts when freestyling.

So this thread was created to thank Milan and say that he hit a lot of awesome moves but you don't even list one move. Lame.

This video was taken from the the first 20 minutes of shred... I was too lazy to pick and choose and just wanted to get anything on Youtube.

All I got to say is that I wish I had been filming and not playing. Milan throws more heat than a 4 alarm fire.

Honestly I have never seen such shred, from anyone... including Vasek at his peak. In person Milan is the SHIT!!!

Picture all the videos of the greatest shred you have ever seen ever, then put it all into one run!!! That's Milan!
Go out and shred already.

Cool thanks. I liked the long shuffle run>toe spinning clip>ripstein

Not as massive as I would have thought, but I'm guessing that's just because it was early in the session.

Yeah this video does not do him justice... I needed a video clip to show off at work.

I saw some incredible moves and combos... I'll try to list what I can remember:

-Nemesis, Nem-osis, Genesis
-Alpine: food, bedwetter, fog, loco motion,
-Surging: motion, barfly, food
-Triple: pickup, atw, tri-don?, triage
-pixie flurry, blurry flurry, flurricane
-swirling: whirling swirl, paradox torque,
-blurry torque screw, gauntlet, symposium gauntlet
-scorpion swirl
-double spinning: legover, butterfly, osis, mobius

And soooooo much more...

What was the craziest for me was not only seeing it live, but Milan's warm up is just as gnarly as his SHRED. I saw so many concepts all in one string... Some of the densest shred ever!!! No exaggeration! It was exciting to watch!
Go out and shred already.
