I had an interesting idea..
On a planned day, everyone picks a random person off of Facebook and copy/pastes a message to them that gives a short intro of the sport along with a video...
The interesting part is that everyone picks a location where a high level player lives and the video included is that high level player.
Thoughts? Additions? Does this suck?

Re: Random Facebook Recruiting? Idea!
I don't know if that would work. Maybe so, maybe no. I think it would need to be less random. Another thing could be to contact newspapers/TV stations and sports websites in that area, send them the video to even share on their Facebook page, should get a bigger base than sending it to just one person. I think the biggest thing with footbag is that the people who get really into it get into by themselves. It needs to be more clear about how to get into it (more events, clubs at universities, playing in public spaces) and give people that opportunity.
