I never said it was two dexes and butterfly whirl was just the easiest way to explane the trick. I consider it to be one new kind of dex. And the trick is preformed downtime.
I don't care if you consider it a trick. fine with me
I may not be the best footbagger, I don't even shred anymore due to knee injury, but I do not lie.
I just posted it because the tricks are easy and may open up huge doors in footbag if people start trying them.
Sorry if I made an ass of myself.

Senor Grommet wrote:Fatbagger, I dont know how long you've been shreddin', but I do not believe that you can hit moves that END ON CLIPPER as uptime sets. Thus, butterfly whirl is not a move. A butterfly as an uptime move is really just a tapping set, and if you dont plant the tapping leg, then you might call it muted tapping same side whirl. I dont get "butterfly whirl" though. Maybe you and ricky Moran should rethink that one . . .
it could be original atomic ss whirl

In the trick tips section they have reverse whirling swirl named Helix. By deduction I would say that reverse whirring swirl should be called Double Helix.

I'm confused about S&M smasher (atomic opp barrage). Not that I'm a real ADD lover or nothin, but it seems like 6 ADDS (dex+dex+xdex+dex+xdex+del) is two much. Why does it receive two xdexes? That would mean that pdx barrage would be a five, cause (dex+pdx+dex+xdex+del). It may be that I don't understand xdex that well. In that case, wanna tell me?
PS I really only posted this cause i wantted to sound smart. Is that so wrong?
PPS I can't hit S&M smasher, but whatever

I agree, I guess. I just feel like if thats the case, then pdx barrage would be 5. I'm thinking about S+M smasher being equivalent to an atomic pdx barrage (where the toe set to crossbody position to opp component is somewhat akin to pdx, but gets called xdex), see what I mean? So that means if you take out the one dex, but still set it from the opp crossbody position, you should only lose one ADD.
I don't even know why I got into this.
Stupid outdated ADD system.
If it looks good, do it.

Bolded the typo:
Flipwalk (ADD 4)
Dragon set Stepping op Firefly
Dragon set Stepping op Butterfly Dragon
Dragon > Op In (DEX) >> Op Out (DEX) > Op Dragon (XBD)(DEL)
I think should be added:
Dragon Slayer (ADD 4)
Atomic op Firefly
Atomic op Butterfly Dragon
Toe > Op out (DEX) >> Op out (DEX) > Op Dragon (XBD)(DEL)
Adam

It should be Chilly Philly Sauce.Big Apple Sauce / Chilly Pilly Sauce (ADD 9)

Julien, simply thinking of moves doesn't mean you invented them.
I hit your "naughty dwarf" move (full symp). The other is quite painful, actually. Tried a couple times with no prevail.
I've permanently stopped naming moves, unless it's an entirely new concept that cannot be broken down into technical terms. Our system is a nightmare as it is. Combinations of uptime and downtime components should be left alone imo.

Regarding move names, I agree with Kevin Regamey that only downtime concepts should be named. Given that all common sets have names, any trick can be succinctly described as "set+downtime component." Most of the common combinations of set+downtime already have names, and the harder stuff is fine without it.
Examples of tricks that have names, and should have names:
1. Common tricks which are set+downtime, but should have names because they are so common: blur, ripwalk, smear, atom smasher.
2. Uncommon downtime component that has an unwieldy, long technical name. Examples: monster, WHAT?!, swivel, revup.
Tricks which don't need names:
1. Stuff that is easily understood: spinning clipper, blurry drifter, ducking butterfly.
2. Obscure tricks which are almost never hit: sailing ducking mirage, furious ss motion, etc.
3. Hard tricks which have easy-to-understand technical names: furious blender, sailing whirl, symp whirling ripstein, etc.
