My lavers are soooooo worn in... i was wondering how worn in your lavers are.
My right foot laver has a gigantic hole in the toe so everytime i play on a rough surface i rip a hole in my socks

. i have about 16 ruined pairs of socks lol.
My left one is getting to that point...has a minor cut along the top.
I still love my lavers

Patch your hole with duct-tape, thats what Peter the Man Irish does, and thats what I do too. It works fine, but after every session you have to replace that tape, because it melts from friction and/or tears a bit.

I've been using the same pair of lavers for 5-6 years >________< They have ABSOLUTELY NO SUPPORT WHATSOEVER! (the insoles are worn out too...). On the plus side they have pink laces.

That's a pretty big plus though. Mine are pretty worn, they have two holes in the mesh stuff. One on each inside.

I put a drumstick through the mesh in my lavers (when taking the inside canvas out ) and was left with a gaping hole!
To mend it I used a combination of Pete's technique and Johnnys by closing the hole with superglue and duck tape over the top. It seems to have worked alright because it hasnt opened since!

I still wear my 1st pair of lavers now and then, I even wore them for comp at CSS6

and they are totally screwed on the bottom. I have tried every method mentioned, but they are only temporary solutions. I love them to death though.
I think its hardcore to play barefoot with ripped ass lavers

it doesn't hurt, wussies

When I was modding my rods I took the exacto knife and put the sharp part all the way in so I could seperate the mesh from canvas...little did I know that a little piece of blade was out so I cut this huge laceration down the side

I just sewed it with floss so good as new

personally I am not into cutting the canvas out of lavers. I dont want it to reduce the lifespan and durability of my lavers.

I'm a fan of cutting out the canvas. It helps you feel the bag so well. It also makes your shoes ever so soft. I loved this mod! I be it, it does cut down on the life span of your lavers but they last so long I'm more worried about grinding the sole down to nothing than I am about that.
The mod I'm not so crazy about is the Brocka. I made mine too big and I don't think it helped me that much. Oh well. You learn and live.
Oilver: Do you have yellow hair? Thats awesome if you do. I had a couple streaks of blue once but my parents flipped out and made me get rid of it. Silly parents....
I think I going to take over Canada. You should help.

She means that when you play the soles of your shoes start to grind down, If you play for long enough you get holes in the soles of your shoes, usualy in the toe area. It's not a mod or anything.

Oh right

I thought she goes and takes a grinder and sands those suckers down. I didnt see how that would help.
Yeah my old rods are pretty much shoe minus sole.

His lavers are beyond shoe-goo repair johny. hahaha. you should see how big the holes are in his shoes. i shred with him almost every day, its ridiculous. its funny because i've had my lavers for 5 months longer and mine dont have holes in them. they are worn away so lots of the white is showing through the blue material, but i've got a ways to go before i start getting holes.
