cigarettes

Post by calemccoy » 18 Feb 2010 20:38

who smokes around here? ive only met a couple footbaggers that smoked tobacco cigarettes, and im curious as to how many there are out there. ive realized that the less i smoke, the better stamina and endurance i have for footbag, but alas, i am addicted. any other footbagging smokers out there?

I like to throw it in the mix. makes a nice head rush. I don't smoke it on it's own too much, though.

Good thing I already suck at footbag - otherwise, it might have a negative impact on my game ;)

What reason for smoking tobacco other than addiction?

...in the fifties maybe.

Cale I quit smoking after 17 years of smoking. Smoking is not cool, no one thinks so, and it will rob you of your life.

advice: quit!

ps. Chantix works!

i found at vegas jam that more footbaggers than i thought smoke.

however, i dont really have a good reason to smoke cigarettes besides addiction. i enjoy them , and think they taste favorably.

i do plan on quitting at some point, i just dont know when.

damon, what is chantix?

Well my name isnt Damon but I can answer. chantix is a "stop-smoking" prescription drug. I think that its supposed to give you crazy dreams or something.

LOL

Yeah it is a RX drug that does NOT use nicotine. It blocks receptors in the brain that process nicotine.

I smoked when I first started playing and was frowned upon at tourneys by some pretty big names in the sport. My run length stayed below 20 most of the time and my clothes stunk.

I tried patches, gum, lozenges...etc... only to keep going back to good ole Marlboro Lights. I finally got serious and went to the Dr. and said prescribe me something and he gave me Chantix.

Chantix blocks nicotine and will not allow you to feel ANY pleasure from a smoke. Even after you quit taking Chantix you will still no longer want a smoke. I haven't smoked in 6 months and even in all that Vegas smoke, all I wanted was some fresh air from outside the casinos. I only took Chantix for 7 weeks!

Chantix also gives you some pleasure and you can experience vivid dreams while taking it. By vivid I mean in FULL COLOR and just weird.

[advertisement disclaimer]
44% of users quit smoking on Chantix versus sugar pill. Do not take Chantix if you are pregnant or about to become pregnant. Chantix cannot be used in combination with other stop smoking aids. Most common side effect is nausea.

I had nausea every morning from the pill and that was it. Best decision I ever made.

Been smoking for a few years. Not addicted to nicotene, but the act of having smoke in my lungs and the taste of tobacco. I don't get anxiety or freak out if I haven't smoked in a day or a week.

As someone who has been a full time smoker for the duration for their footbag career, Im interested to know who is the most talented shredding smoker?

I'm a pretty avid smoker. I had cut down to one cigarette a day but going back to school really makes it tempting to smoke during breaks. I've been smoking since I was about 16 and am 21 now, and just recently have I really started to feel the effects on my endurance. It really is no good, but damn is it that first cig of the day tasty.

I'm always spectical of self-help books, but I've heard absolutely great things about this book and its ability to help you quit.

I don't smoke, never have, never will.
Besides, I breath very heavily while footbagging, I doubt it would do anything other than make me pass out.

Every time you smoke, ocelots cry
Please, think of the cute little ocelots.
