In need of a *little* fabric

Post by Moxie » 13 Sep 2006 22:44

Hey.

I need 2 panels worth of black.

I also need 2 panels worth of the pink-ish color in the following picture. I know some of you know all of the color names by heart, but that's not my style and I couldn't find the name on fieldsfabric.com.

Would anyone be willing to help me out?

when you say panels do you mean 1/8th of a yard panel or like 2 pentagon panels worth. I'm assuming the *little* means the latter, but just checking.

That looks like Punch and Green Grape.

Mowley posted first.

Mowley, if you're still willing to could you send two 1.5x1.5 in squares of each color? I don't have the exact pent sizes with me, so better safe than sorry.

Thank you for the offer, Josh.

How accurate are the picture colors?

It may be one of Toray's new spring colors(Active Green). It resembles it. I have no clue where it can be bought though, and I've looked.

I think it's too dark to be Green Grape. The pink looks like Punch though.

Edit: If you know the color's code number I can get you the name.

I've seen Active Green before. It's more like Chris Miller's Kelly Green that he's shown me (and the 1-up bag that he recently stitched), so it's definitely not that color. I'm pretty sure it's not Petit Pois as well, since the tint for that color is much much more rich and darker.

It's Green Grape. The camera just has a low resolution.

No, the camera is fine, it looks just like that in real life. I have Green Grape and Petit Pois, and this is a different color.
