Maybe I should do a tutorial on this too?

I am pretty sure I made this technique up.
please do.
I've tried this myself, but panels consistantly turn out not quite how I want them

It's only one way of doing this, but if you have a method that's comfortable to cutting your own set of panels, please do so. I think every person has their own preferred way to stitching, even with how to cut to the correct sized pattern. I personally find it a bit frustrating when my scissors or razor goes along in a tilt in making a pretty uneven cut. But, that's just me.

Yeah, I'll end my part of the discussion here.

well to tell you the truth, i've started sitching, but i'm not very skilled at all, so really it depends on if you're ready to start sitching, and if you would enjoy something like that
...also mosher, please do that tutorial on your geomagnet cutting technique that would be awesome!

I know this is a little bit of a dated thread, but the '"kingsoffootbag.com" link is no longer valid :?

Anyone know if there are any other links for 32 panel kits, or 32 panel making?

Sergey Kozlov had a tutourial somewhere online. It was in Russian, but with enough photos that you should be able to make sense of it. Sorry I don't have the link offhand. It's posted on Modified soommeewhere though (from a while back)

Thanks Erik, I'll do a little research. I want to start making a few for fun, and take it from there...

i have found a video tutorial on youtube, but the guy who is doing it uses a kinda unique technique.
i personally stitch a little different, but if you see the result in the tutorial it should convince you to give it a try ;)

search this channel:
http://www.youtube.com/user/skillteacher
there are 6 or 7 videos about how to stitch a 32

Good post Michael! I use a different technique as well.

Personally, I start every pentagon on the hexagon/triangle side first, because it's a tad easier to make a reliable knot from beginning to end on that side (especially on the last stitch). I make a strong knot over the two panels and loop the needle through the same hole, and start sewing clockwise. After finishing the pentagon and meeting the first knot I've made on the pentagon, I tie a knot over that one securely to ensure that the panel doesn't bust a stitch. And I single-thread my needle for better bag playability. :)

Nice and clear-cut video(s) with solid directions on how to sew a footbag.

Also, I think I've seen this guy somewhere performing a pretty good technique for three-bag juggling on your feet.

Very very cool, I will definitely check that out.

Oh, and I like juggling :-)... I've always wondered if one of you pros can juggle with your feet?!
