Hey everyone. It's Brandon from Ohio. Megan and I decided that we want to try to start making our own footbags. Any suggestions where to start? We've been looking around, and found some videos, but most are for 32 panels. We wanted to try to find a cutout for 6-8 panels to start with. We've made a few 4 panels so far, but want to work on something a little more challenging.
We have the suede and we're using dental floss to sew with. We're using BB's and sand for the filling. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

hello guys, welcome to the forums! it's cool you are interested in learning to stitch. you can see and download templates for some of the basic types of footbags here.
i would recommend trying a 14 panel bag. they are very similar in construction to a 32 panel bag, so you can apply tips and tricks from the videos you've found, and when you feel ready you can make a 32 without needing to change your technique that much.
there is also lots of good information about stitching on the first few pages of this subforum, so be sure to check that out as well.
have fun, and don't forget to post a picture here when you're done. the gold and silver bag at the top of the page is a 14, and mahhkohh posted a few 14s as well.
good luck!

alright sweet. Thanks for your help.. It was awesome shredding with you guys at funtastiks. I can't wait to shred again. Hopefully we can soon. A 3 hour drive is kind of long, but it's doable for a good shredding session. I have some other people that can come too. I'm hoping that we can get really good at stitching, mostly just to save money on bags in general. I'm so poor its crazy lol. I think it would be pretty cool too, especially when we're done with the finished product. I guess maybe it's a feeling of self satisfaction and accomplishment when we're finally done.
