USL/Amaretta 60g steelshot fill, slightly bigger than a golfball, finally a Bag I want to keep for myself :)

since I am stitching quite regularly again, I'd be willing to trade some Bags, but you have to be a little patient with me. I won't send out a Bag I don't like.

Left is a test, right is a keeper.

Left is a mini 26-panel I randomly crafted with Lego pieces used for the template (hexagons from whatever template I had around). Right is an amaretta 32 of which the panels were given to me by Andrew Dunford from Montreal Jam 2010. Both of these bags use a brand new sewing style I crafted from other inspiring sewing styles. Both are heavy and filled with non-toxic fill.

finally i had some time to take all my scraps and cut offs from the demo bags and use the ones big enough to make some mini hexes for a few 92´s. this is the first one of them. i have panels for 3 more around, and i allready got a new big order of demo bags, so expect more 92 panels in the near future :) or some really tiny tiny 32´s :D

Weird starbag. The hexes are connecting.

If I had a star template, microsuede is probably the best material to use for the stars. Maybe I'll ask Bear about that and see if he's done it before.

Currently making a funky 6-panel, among other bag projects. Stay tuned.

yeah, the stars on my first starbag were too big, and thats what happens if you shrink them down wrong. :) the hexes only connect now, i guess with break in the that may(!) go away.... i got one more idea how to fix that, if that does not work out i´m gonna give up and just keep making 92´s :D

I just had to make one of these after seeing Marco's attempt. Last time I tried a 92 it turned out too large (almost the size of a crocheted bag) and I refused to make a smaller template as the sizes were already tiny.. So these star bags really called out to me.
This is actually my second attempt. The first I gave up on half way when I realized I could do a much better job. And here it is:
ImageImage
I was a bit scared this would be too big as well, but as luck would have it, turned out to be perfectly golf ball sized! I am so happy with this bag, and will definately be making more in the future!
also it feels awesome as there seems to be more free space inside the bag compared to a regular 32.
