Bags You've Made
Feels like forever since I last posted bags up in this thread.
Left is an all-microsuede bag. Right is all facile, and went to Ted Fritsch. Hopefully it'll serve him well at this year's Worlds. Both are filled at 66.6 grams of 409 grade s/s disc fill.
Oy, lovely Twisteds! These two mark the last bit of "Neon Lime" Ultrasuede Soft I have left to make bags with. I can probably cut out some pentagons to make a bag with it, but afaik I'm out of stock with this color. The Twisted on the right went to the Outsider Schneider (maybe he'll bring it to Worlds for indoor shred) and is filled with stainless steel (66.6 grams). Left was made smaller and filled with lead, same weight.
The two 2-stitch 32s on the right are amaretta/amara/facile hybrids that I spruced up, same weight and s/s fill. The blue and purple 32 basically has very little gather and was sewn deep. The red/beige/grey has an odd template (large pentagons, small hexagons) that worked well with some loose gather. Both are 66.6 grams, s/s.
Whatever bags I have in stock as of today. Top row is 3-stitch 32s, middle row 2-stitch 32s, bottom row Twisteds.
Bottom right is the latest Twisted I made with all Ultrasuede Soft, filled with lead at 66.6 grams. It's... okay (the picture does it -some- justice, might refill it to be heavier). Upper left is another odd template that I worked with (small pentagons, large hexagons) that I gathered extremely loosely and filled at 69.5 grams with s/s and plastic pellets.
Middle left is the latest 32 I made with the usual template I work with. It came out really well even though the black I used is the one with the metallic circles embedded into the material. The other colors are pastel-ish (light blue / rose quartz / country cream / green grape). Another bag I filled at 69.5 grams but with only s/s fill.
I might post more funky bags before next Thursday since CFC is next weekend. I'll try not to post a big wall of text next time.

super nice collection waylon. i really like the spiral bags, one of these days i must have one!
here are my latest 2. the grey/pink/purple was way cooler in my head... turns out that a bag with the hexes spiraling around does not look as cool as a regular spiral-pattern bag
both are for sale, pm me for info. i also have more bags in stock and i will happily sew together your custom orders

hehe, I should say, 495 was the only one I fully stitched today. 492 and 493 were fully stitched months ago and unfilled. 494 had 3 pents to go.
Felt good to complete a full one today, especially because I've owed it to Bruce for about a year. Now that's one patient guy.

Here's a bag that's been in production for over a month. Almost finished stitching it, but had no filler, so just had it sitting around.
Then the other night I decided to butcher an old bag for it's filler, so I could finally finish it off.
It's filled to 62.5g 50/50 mix of metal sand and mini bb's from an elemental bag.

Thanks Matt
Here's one I slaved away all day one yesterday. Finally got a nicer stitching method! Was so stoked when I figured it out.
front..
back.. (with FuNTaG attached)
This one is for Brian Preuss, a new guy in CIC
It's totally symmetrical so that star pattern is a mirror image on the opposite side.
Best bag I've stitched to date.
Also, recently, My girlfriend, Nadiah (who now has a footblog btw, check it out) repaired my footbag necklace and she really liked it and asked me if I could make her one. So I gave it a whack..
Tinytomic! Size of a quarter.
I'm gonna slowly make myself one with the inverse colors when I have time, in between some orders..
