So I'd like to get into footbag and stuff, but one of the things that worries me is that I have really wide feet, and don't know if Rod Lavers would fit me.
According to google, there aren't any stores around that have a pair I could try on, so I'm asking here.

Try to meet a footbag player with a similar feet size and ask him to lend their shoes to you for a moment to see if they fit you.
In case there is no footbag player near you, you can buy it from the internet and if the shoes don't fit you, you can sell them in this forum.

I would try them on for yourself , but I find that they are not ideal for wide feet . Quantums are ideal but their discontinued ....which sucks horribly .
I find lavers supremely uncomfortable and to narrow , while other shoes have a wider foorprint ....

I'm not looking to get really competitive with footbag, so maybe I can just find some other shoes that will suit my purposes.
Thanks for the replies

No body starts out really competitive. Try the shoes, I think you'll like them.
Why lavers? Anyone see the similarity?

I feel I've always had very wide feet but haven't had any issues with Pacers. they seem to stretch out nicely once broken in.

I have wide feet, and Lavers were painful for me. I played in them for the first 8 years of my career. G-Units were like a gift from God for me...super comfortable, no issues. Unfortunately, they are hard to find now. I also found Quantums to be more forgiving of wide feet than lavers were.

I have wide feet and I never got anywhere with lavers. Gunits made a huge difference. I would make the jump straight to qunatums since they are available. End of story.

I thought quantums were discontinued? I still have space to move my feet left to right in lavers. TIL I have skinny feet.

Thanks for more replies.
Has anybody here tried any Brooks running shoes? I ask since worldfootbag has them on their site.

^ for playing....there crap....... honestly ...your options are this...
laver...most common shred shoe
qs...awesome but harder to find than gunit
gunits...pros and cons and discontinued
clima cool....MEGA mods required little ankle support
nucleus.....SUCKS....
i have modded and played a little in some nike running shoes but I would NEVER recommend a newbie even trying to do 90% of any mods....
might as well just get a pair of lavers....there cheap , cool looking and the most used shoe.....if you can play in them then your problem will be solved ....the mods are easy for anyone....
good luck
