Shred Kicks.....or just shoes

Post by LittleBoy footbag » 08 Jan 2005 19:47

I know I'm a total moron for posting a topic that was MOST LIKELY HERE ANYWAY But I can't find it so I'll go post it now.....

What kinds of shoes do you guys have for shred? Like Lavers, Climas, Gravis, G-Units, and stuff. For me, I use Adidas Superstars in Leather Upper. I don't know why I haven't invested in a pair of Lavers yet. However, my shred shoes are pretty stable. I expect lavers to be more though. I tend to tip a lot. Also, the soles are dead flat so my sole delays go smoothly which is one of my favorite tricks! The toe is really good for me. There's a small concave-ness there so I can catch them most of the time without much modding. My insides are the roblem but I've gotten used to that............I can't wait until I have $$$$$$$$$$ for shred shoes!

I'm plannig to or some climas I've been talking about that for a while.....so let's hear about your shoes!

I have several pairs of shred shoes now, I love shoes!!!!!!

- my flipsider leather lavers
- leather-free leather lavers
- mesh lavers
- Climacool 2's
- Climacool Responses

After feeling the grip and spring of climas I can't handle the clunky flat slipperyness of lavers. To each his own though, right?

Good topic, we talk about the bag side of things alot, why not some more foot talk?

What with all your raving about clima cools, I am seriously thinking about getting some, especially if I see them cheaply any place... Oh yeh and right now I play in lavers mostly, but I have been known to play barefoot once in a while, like if I'm inside.

Those look sweet dude, I see no reason why they would be any less good than a laver though it's hard to really tell what a shoe is like just based on a photo. If they work well for you you should run with it.

So true :D :P  (puts Tom in the "good book")

So I've added New Balance 520s - I hope that was right. Perhaps a good idea would be for somebody to work out exactly what the poll should say - and then I'll delete the current one and put in the new one - so it would start again but it would look more organised.

A few people play in sandles - the first ever 7 add to be hit on camera was hit in sandles - they aren't that bad to play with...

I checked for Lavers, but I ALSO have New Balance CT520's. So far, I'm likin' these shoes! I haven't even modded them yet. I wear 'em every day to break 'em in. My two favorite shoes would have to be Lavers and NB's :D

Yep, it was that guy.

That's the exact clip of the first time it was hit if I recall correctly.

"Teva" Dave Holton.

As for the topic, I have Original Climacools and I love them. I don't think I'd ever be able to go back to Lavers. They are so much better for my feet, and as someone who has trouble constantly playing on my toes, the extra shock absorption and leg protection is really appreciated. They are also lighter as well.

I don't wanna be mean or anything, and not that my osis is good .... but Dave Holton has a really ugly osis, I guess it works for him, and he can get it .... but to me it looks really ugly.

Yeah, one of the advantages of Teva's I guess, you can catch and hold the bag enough to pull it through.

He does definitely pull it through hardcore though - at least in that video. Who knows if that is how he normally does them. He may have just been too excited to think about clean osises since he just made footbag history

From all of the footage that I have seen of him, he always pulls it through.

You know there's a type of sandals that are pretty good for shredding right? Don't understand the whole "hahahahha" part...
