Depending on which direction you hit it, i.e. out to in = legover and in to out = pickup.

School those like crazy along with mirages and illusions! Good job hitting it without knowing what it was :D

I just shredded for about 20 mins outside, it's a beautiful night!!! 9 degress celsius, hardly any wind, a nice 1/4 moon, beautiful!!

I just worked on my clipper's, stalled it back and forth for a bit (dropping it onto my foot each time, i suck)

anyway, I can hit illusion now pretty decently, having a someone difficult time catching it on my flipside foot tho...i know i shouldn't have a flipside, but I do, working on changing that

You're freakin awesome.... I've been shredding for three + months and I can't even hit an ATW yet! Of course, I'm juggling both a circle kicker and Freestyler so I've been in total going for almost a year.... good luck on getting your moves solid and learning new ones... It's hard as crap for me and I hope I'll be able to shred like you one of these days.... MAYBE i'll go up to canada...... mmmmmmm :?

hha sweet thanks for the support guys!!

It turns out I was doing a Mirage, not an Illusion, Illusion is just dexing in to out, I was going out to in, anyway, still exciting

Shredded with the bfa boys again today for a couple hours, that was fun, worked on some fundamentals and I'm working on my pixie's now, gonna drill them all week and hopefully I'll be able to do them solidly by next shred

Gotta work night shift tonight, bedtime for me!

ok wait, we need to settle this: When you're setting with your left foot and dexing with your right leg, is your leg going clockwise or counter clockwise around the bag? Rye, does that make sense?

He was going counter clockwise I believe... which is an illusion.

I couldn't watch the video he posted, maybe someone who can see it could verify for us?

well dex and johnny both said it was a mirage when I did it right in front of them....

If I set with my right toe, dex with my left, my leg goes counter-clockwise.

Set with my left tow, dex with my right, I go clockwise.

You're getting it mixed up. It doesn't matter in what direction your moves relative to the other footbag extremity, it matters what direction it moves. For example, when doing an around the world, if you set with your right foot, dex clockwise, and stall with the same foot, it was an in to out dex. If you dex counter-clockwise, it was out to in... However, it's reversed for the other foot, as counter-clockwise has you dexing in-out... Eh, it's not something I would get hung up on right now. The easiest way to learn and conceptualize all this is to watch lots and lots of videos of everything - easy tricks, hard tricks, shred, competition, whatever. Learn what every move is conceptually, you'll be thankful.

edit: Just thought of a good way of wording it - think of dexing as moving in relation to an invisible axis down the center of your body. When it moves towards that, it's going in, when it moves away, it's going out. This doesn't really apply to whirls and swirls. (swirls sort of, but it's best just to say front/back, forward/reverse, etc.)

yeah, why not just do all the in-out, out-in variations and then just say that you did em all?

Names schmames!
