So things have just gotten better and better since the break-up. A few weeks ago I met a girl I'd seen around my High School before but never really talked to. Her name is Sarah. Well, we started talking and just chilling for a few days and it went from their. I asked her out on the 26th. It's awesome to be with someone who actually wants to be with you as well. She loves metal. Namely Children of Bodom which is superb. She's funny as hell, not to mention gorgeous. Her birthday is actually today so right now I'm just jamming out to some Obituary while finishing a pair of Fine Silver Earrings. I've never made earrings before this so I'm pretty pleased. Might get pictures of them.

I also got two tattoos. One on each wrist/forearm. They are Norse Runes. One is a Vegvisir which is for guidance and direction and the other is an Aegishjalmur which is for protection and irresistability. They are still healing and need a touch up but they are spectacular.

I've got the Amon Amarth concert coming up on the 29th and a few buddies are coming along. I don't care what it takes, be it a 5 hundred dollar bribe or a blowjob, I will be getting backstage somehow to meet and chill with those guys if but for a few minutes. I'm so excited. I love that band and missed their show in July. >_< Shiiit.

I'm actually considering on playing a little today before I go to chill with Sarah. It's a toss up though. Depends on if I can sweat enough to keep from freezing my balls off. Hope all is well with everyone.

props on the ink (and the girl). it might not even need a touch-up, once its fully healed. i was definitely planning on getting mine touched up because it looked a little splotchy in places, but about 4 weeks after i got it i realized it looked better than it ever had, and the colors kind of evened out. obviously get it touched up if they still look rough after about a month, especially if they have a free-touch-up policy.

good to see an update---next time lets see some highlights

Hell yeah dude. We'll definitely cross paths sometime in the near future.

Holy hell. So things are... stressful. My one saving grace for the past month has been Sarah. I went through a pleasant ordeal involving tonsilitis and migraines and whatnot for a week about two weeks ago. She definitely made that go by faster. Things have been flying by since I met her. She's so much less stressful and demanding than Renee. Goddamn. I'm still not used to having somebody return my kiss or just kiss me without I myself having to initiate it. With Renee that never happened, she was just kind of there, I actually feel that Sarah cares about me and enjoys my company as much as I do her. That's what's important to me in the grand scheme of things.

Thanksgiving was, normal. Nothing really to say beyond that... Black Friday and this past weekend were un-fucking-believable though. I worked a total of 38 hours from Black Friday to Monday. So fucking busy, considering I'm in retail. Hot damn.

I'm actually going to play today. It's beautiful out, temperature-wise, and I need to film some for the Christmas video. I'm day Fifteen so I need to get started. I just hope I can throw down something worth putting online. I haven't played in I don't know how long so we'll see how I do. Either way I'll be posting up some semblance of "highlights" later this evening probably.

Wish me luck, I'll be needing it.

So I finally played yesterday. I don't even know how long it's been. I guess probably November or October.

Anyways I shirked work at Home Depot yesterday so I'd have time to play, no big deal though considering tonight wil be my last night there. Playing was a mixture of pain, fun, and complete frustration at how much I've degressed. I didn't really expect much out of myself considering I smoke... I haven't played in so long... and my stamina is already shit from working 8-5 at a desk and then 8-midnight doing freight at Home Depot I was surprised by how much I was actually able to pull off though, something a little better than I was able to do before I stopped, mostly Flipside.

In short:

 Started off with 20 Toe stalls! Woot!
 Then Various other consecutive stalls: Clipper, Inside, more Toe.
 Did some Mirages. Both sides. Worked pretty well.
 Tried out Legovers and Pickups and my timing is off. I only get them about half the time. I need to work on placement, set, and timing.
 Then did some ATW's both ways, both sides. My form was a lot better than it ever was though Flip still needs work. I think it's my stance and the way I hold myself fucking me up on this.
 Then did some Mirage>Legover>Rpt. drills. Managed to pump out a few Rpts. I was surprised.

At this point I decided it might be good for my stamina if I ran five laps around the tennis court i was playing on. It was only two courts wide but I felt as if my heart were about to slam out of my chest... and I was jogging.

 After that I worked on Consecutive Butterflies. Got quite a bit though I wasn't keeping count.
 Next I did a drill that just came to me out of nowhere: Butterfly Butterfly>Osis>Rpt. and I managed maybe 12-15 contacts of that.
 Tried Whirls. Meh. Not great. I hit Flip Whirl before Strong Whirl... and not for lack of trying either.
 I tried out Butterfly>Whirl>Rpt. and managed that a few times.
 Tried Dyno's. Still have those, my Flip feels a lot stronger now too.
 Tried out Ducking, I haven't lost or gained anythign in this department.
 Spinning is still good. Just have to master foot movement and timing for Flip Spinning.
 Torques are the same.
 I can still Atomic well too. Not like I used to, but I hit Tapdown on my Flip first try and Legbeater first try as well.
 My favorite thing from last night was that I hit GYBAS first try. Didn't expect that at all considering I've only hit it five times... ever.

I had to stop there due to the fact that my Holly bag from February, that I won in the Valentines Day raffle... my favorite bag too :( ...finally started getting holes in it. That and I was trashed. Sore all the fuck over but I felt good. I felt damn good. I didn't think I'd retain as much as I did.
But now I'm going to have to prowl around for another bag so I don't tear up my Holly bag anymore.
But in short I'd consider myself back.

Awesome!

That's so cool that you've retained all those concepts so well.

You are working two jobs? Well glad to see you are back, hope all else is well.

Yep. Have been for about a month and a half and as of tonight I'll only have one. It's too much working for 9 hours then doing heavy labor for 4-5 more hours after. No time to relax or sleep for that matter. I love the signature by the way.

As for all else, it is well. I'm with a former ex, things got all fucked up at first because of her stepfather which is why we broke up the first time but we're back together again... just without his knowledge. Five months was the 12th. She helped motivate me to start playing again. Good money coming in for only being a high school graduate. About 24k/year.

November through February was tough. Really tough but everything has fallen into place. Getting an apartment soon with one of my friends. that and saving for school. So yeah. :D

Played for about 45 minutes last night. Did terrible as expected. Out of those 45 minutes I managed to hit Mirage>Legover>Rpt. starting from Strong and Flip twice each, Though none of them were consecutive and sloppy as shit. Tried for 10 consecutive op Clippers but couldn't get it at all. Stamina sucks ass. Entirely out of shape. No clue when I'll work up the motivation to play again. But I suppose it's a start. I'm not really stoked on working from the bottom up again. Hopefully I'll stick with it.

I'm in California for work. Specifically Livermore which is about 30 minutes east of Oakland and San Fransisco bay area. If there are any footbaggers in the area, I've brought both my footbags and my lavers/climas so if anybody wants to meet up out here I can drive about anywhere as my gas is paid for. I'm looking to do some kicking for the first time since last year in Nashville and chill so if anyone is in the area or as far as like 3 hours away just hit me up, I can come to you or whatever works best

Dude! I'm in Woodland, CA. Which is like 30 minutes away from Sacramento. Tell me you are down to come and shred with me??! That, or you need to hit up Brian Sherrill or anyone from the Stanford crew and get down with some beastly mofo's.
