have you ever realized that there are more smileys than are show to the left when you are starting a new post? like  and :footbag: :footbag: :footbag: :footbag: :footbag: :footbag: :footbag: :footbag: :footbag: :footbag: :footbag: :footbag: :footbag: :footbag: :footbag: :footbag:
crazy i know

anyway ive had quite a few accomplishments in footbag as of late, and i feel like im boasting or something when im posting in the fearless thread, so i will just post here instead, that way only the people that are interested in reading about what ive hit and stuff can read :) So i am currently up in Moscow idaho again visiting my girlfriend, and ive had the opportunity to play with my good friend riley stark on a couple occasions. He is a good friend in footbag, and i have a lot of fun playing with him.

today i hit 2 things that were worth noting:
Dimmiest>ps whirl
Dimmiest>jani>ps whirl

the second one is probably the hardest thing i have ever hit in footbag. Which makes me really happy to know that there is a bench mark that i can see for how much i have improved over the last couple of years. It makes me excited. I only have 7 ish weeks till vegas jam. I hope to lose about 20 lbs by then which is a a lot of weight in a short amount of time, but we will see how it goes.

until next time friends,

Zeb

This is the moment I have been waiting for. How much can I pay for the shadow? I'd love to live in it.

Lol jay...

Anyway its been a long time since i updated my status and talked about life the universe and everything. So here goes:

Life:

Where do i begin? I currently work 15-18 hours a week at my current job, it has been pretty good besides the lack of appreciation from my managers, and some of my other co-workers being retarded high school kids who's only mission in life is to get laid. Ive now worked at that job for 3 years which is kind of amazing to me because I remember when i started there, and looking at it now, basically none of the people who used to work there work there, and only a hand full of us "old schoolers" still remain at that place. One thing that does bug me is that I trained my current kitchen manager, and now he is my boss...slightly depressing.

My school life has been pretty hectic, I've found that i have been struggling a little bit getting back into the habit of going to school, and dealing with studying and homework, i found it harder last semester than i do this semester, but i am REALLY glad that I've decided to continue my education. I'm currently going to school to be an Athletic trainer, and pretty much everyone i talk to tells me that it doesn't really matter what i exactly go to school for in the department of kenisiology in the end I'm pretty much going to be either a high school health teacher, or a coach of some kind. I don't really mind that at all, I've always wanted to teach sports to others or coach a team to victory i think that would be really great (other than the fact that i wont make much money with my degree), I feel like i can be okay with that as long as I am doing something that I know deep down inside that i want to do.

The social life has also been pretty decent to me, my girlfriend and I have been together for over a year and a half now, I still remember talking to Jay Boychuk about her in the hot tub in the hotel at the US open in 2009. Who would have known then that i would be with this girl for so long? Anyway i love that she is very supportive of foot bag, and she has even recently gotten into stitching :) Emma is so awesome, I'm sure any of you who have met her from worlds knows that she is a really nice girl and is a blast to be around, i couldn't think of any other person to have at my side.

Footbag:

Footbag throught the winter was kind of a bitch, I found myself gaining a lot of weight making it harder to perform many of the tricks i have grown to love, but since the beginning of January I have worked really hard at getting back to where i formally was. I think im going to release a video soon of all my accomplishments these past couple months some of them have even surprised me!

my favorites of these are:
 pixie muted atomic ss muted dyno
 dimmiest>jani
 ps whirl x 3
 pixie symp whirl > pdx blender bs
 vortex > pdx blender bs
 whales tale bsos (which i did today)

whales tale has always been one of those tricks that ill always hit one side, and then ill go for the other and totally FUBAR it, it doesn't even matter what side i start from. I really think I have hit a new plateau in my foot bag career, I'm really pushing my harder tricks and honing in on all my my previous ones making them more consistent than i ever thought possible. I love foot bag :D

Any who, to wrap this post up, I will say that i am super excited for the Vegas Jam (if i can find money to get to Vegas) I really love hanging out with all of my friends that i only get to see sometimes through out the year. Like seriously the Vegas crew, and like Jay Boychuk, and Zjeezy, and really you can name almost any foot bag player i have met here and say that these people are some of the coolest funnest people i have ever had the pleasure to be around. Foot bag tournaments/Jams I have had more memories from footbag tournaments than i have of anything else in my live probably. Which i think is really cool.

anyway

peace out modified.

Todays session was a pixie oriented one for the most part, here were some of the notable things i accomplished during the session (no new things today, but was happy with the outcome of the session)
 MANY pixie drills
magellan>plo>rpt
Magellan >pixie ss mirage >rpt
Magellan >pixie pick up> rpt
Magellan > ss dlo> rpt
plo>dlo>rpt
plo>smear>rpt
plo> smudge>rpt
plo>plo>pixie op pickuip> pixie op pick up
smear> pixie ss mirage >rpt
smear>magellan>plo>rpt
pixie ss illusion>magellan>rpt
smoke>pdx mirage>plo>rpt
 smog bsos, the first time ive ever done that i think
 pixie ss drifter (this might be new, i cant remember if ive hit this or not)
 spinning whirl>pdx whirl
 pigbeater>string (i suck at eggs, so hitting a pig to hit a string was nice)
 drifter>torque>rpt

i didnt really try anything intense this session but i just worked on what i had, it was nice, and somewhat relaxing cause nothing i did was particularly rough on my back (except maybe the last drill)

gotta work today, and do some english homework, and study for a biology exam, and write a 6 page paper, and study some history. Where do i fit footbag? (more like where do i fit all this into my footbag life AMIRITE?! :D)

peace

So i decided that i want to have someone to help push and challenge me, maybe send videos to each other as challenges to one another, and help push each others games, if you feel like you are at my level, or even a little above then send me a pm and maybe we can work something out. :)

Will the video be of you eating the raspberry delight pictured above? Cuz I wouldn't mind if it meant I got a vicarious taste of that delicacy.

Also, I'll take you up on that game-pushing idea. I've been reeeeally lacking in the shred department lately and could definitely use some motivation. I think your better than me, but I'm aiming to change that.

nice work man! looks really great, I was impressed by a lot up there^^!

I really like your style, it's really comprehensive, not too many holes I can think of... some guys stick with symp, some with spins, some with ducking, some with double dexes or whatever, but you seem to have it going on on all cylinders!

keep it up and keep posting vids!!!!!

so this will by my 10,xxx attempt at successfully keeping a footblog, and while a lot of what i write will be able footbag and my weightloss goals i hope to incorporate some video into this as well. During uso i remember Ken saying something like "you should post more video" or something like that so i think that I will shortly.

Theres many things that im currently working on in footbag. Im in this awkward place with it right now (in a good way) I still want to get better and I am playing better everyday, but I recently had a neck injury (non footbag related) and it kind of prevents me from playing as much as i would like to play. SO, that being the case I am able to work on other footbag related projects (like the US open, and elite footbag.com)

elite footbag.com is going to be changing a lot. The ranking system will be integrated differently the website will feel more like a social networking site, and will have a LOT of information. there will be some other additions to the website that will also hopefully appeal more to the general public of footbag. Nick Landes and a few others will also be working more closely with me. The website will focus more on helping those already involved in footbag to get into it while also greatly helping those who are already apart of footbag with in depth video that are narrated with professional tips from people like nick and penske and such.

The USO, im not really going to write a review on it, but I will tell you that It was a great time and I feel like this tournament (like most tournaments) re-lit the fire in me as far as with playing footbag.

highlights from me during the event:

 tapdown>pdx flux
 locomotion> torquescrew
 46 contact ducking run.

I think soon Im going to start training differently, and more like i did when i was first getting into footbag. lots of drills and working on tricks that i suck at. also paying special attention to where i stall, how long i stall for, and where my foot is positioned before my next set.

On that note, i weighed myself today, and its not good. Im the heaviest I've been since i was in highschool when i played football, so that has DEFINITELY got to change.

so starting NOW Im going to post my weight after every session, as well as using this as a general food blog to understand my eating habits and help change my lifestyle in a way that helps me lose the weight.

current weight: 190
Goal weight: 150

Food today: (ill start with dinner)
Today I ate 4 slices of pizza from Idaho Pizza while at the players party for the USO, while that isnt good, I feel like eating fairly unhealthy at tournaments is pretty normal.

see you tomorrow fizzied, maybe ill post some USO video
