Thanks Ian! It was great to hit the goal :D

Had a session with Hania today. She was playing really effortless and smooth, she hit a combo with Paradon, Barfly, Drifters and other stuff. Her Pdx Whirls look great :D

I've hit two new tricks today: Whirr and Fission (Barraging Pdx Illusion). The funny thing was that I've hit Whirr on my weaker side Whirl 8O Maybe it's not really the weaker one... I worked on stepping out of Osis, and managed to hit Osis > Ripwalk BSOS. That felt nice :D I'm also working on my Eggbeaters, but they look ugly. I think that I don't do the first dex deep enough, but on the other side I've seen other players (Chris Pinkus  ) do them in the same way. Someone could clear this up? When an Illusion is clean?

I'm trying to work on my fives. My Blurry Whirls seems to be more controlled, but it's still not good enough. I tried Marius just for fun, and wasn't so far from hitting it. I should school Pdx Torques and then maybe I'll hit it :D It's such a cool trick. Oh, I footed symp. Torque many times, but it always flew in the air and hit a wall or something  That trick is HARD :)

Pozdrawiam

I didn't wrote how I started playing in the beggining of my blog, but I can do it now :) It all started when my friend brought a crocheted bag to school. I became interested and played with him, and some other friends. Back then, neck catch was the best trick, and toe delay was out of sight :) Then I saw a guy kicking and whoa! He could hit toes, insides and ever ATW's! That was awesome! I knew that I want to do the tricks that he does and I started to train (with a crocheted bag filled with small pieces of cable isolation  ). I played in crappy shoes for about half a year learning from videos, and then got Lavers :D Now I'm trying to shred hard and improve.

Some of my goals for now:
Rubberman
more 5>5 combos, and maybe a 5>5>5 (I've hit one once, it was Phoenix > Spining Ducking Butterfly > Spinning Pdx Whirl, but I don't think I could do it again)
Drifter > Pdx Drifter (rpt)
Barfly > Barfly

Tommorow we're having a session, so I'll try do do some of these :)

Great session today! I played for about 4,5 hour. I'm exhausted, but very happy :D Some highlights:

Hania:
She was busting great combos today, PS Whirl midstring! Lots of 4's, Pdx Whirl, Legbeater, Barfly, Paradon, DLO BS. Whirl > Swirl BS, Drifters everywhere - lots of cool stuff :D

Daniel:
flip Whirl, nice guiltless combos.

Adam:
Fog, Smog midstring, Pdx DLO BS. He's hitting nice and smooth runs. :)

Lechu:
footed Fury! Whirl > Butterfly > Whirl and Butterfly > Ripwalk > Ripwalk > Rev. Swirl > Butterfly > Butterfly > Whirl. Drifter both sides and stronger guiltless runs.

Me:
Paradon > Pdx Mirage (rpt)
Butterfly > Torque (rpt)
Paradon > Barrage
Blurry Whirl > Blurry Whirl
Blurry Whirl > Pdx Torque
Phoenix > Blurry Whirl > PS Whirl
Xbd Rake > Spinning Clipper midstring - this link is cool! :D

It was awesome today, can't wait for tommorow!

Anonother cool session today. I'm pretty stoked, cause I landed Montage! That felt fantastic :D Shred started at 12:30 and we played until about 17:00. In the middle of the session we got a phone call from Szczeniu (the Polish Footbag Association chairman) and he said that he's on his way to the gym! :D It was so great to play with him, he's got a unique style and cool tricks that are not seen often. We played in circle a lot, I remember hitting PS Whirl bs. Adam had Phoenix > Ripped Warrior of his foot! 8O His Stepping Ducking is getting much more consistant. When we bacame tired we tried some games, like hitting as many Ducking Clippers, Ripwalks, Whirls in a row as we can. It was fun, I've hit 19 Ripwalks first try :D Then we did a slalom between bags lying on the floor, but while doing Butterflies :D It was fun, and in the end I did the slalom while Butterflying backwards  Those kind of games make sessions much funnier and varied. :D My legs are sore from playing, but I won't have much rest... Another session tommorow! :D

i had NO energy today :) Only my and my friend Daniel played. The session wasn't long, it lasted about 2 hours. In the beggining I've hit a nice combo (I think). It went something like: Smear > Dimwalk > Whirl > Drifter > Drifter > Ducking Clipper > Whirl > Ducking Clipper > Drifter > drop. It's hard to play genuine, but it's fun :) Suddenly, my friend asked me if it would be possible to hit a new trick on every session. I said to him that it would't be a problem. He was not convinced, so I said that I could hit 6 new tricks for him now. And I've hit: Spinning Inside, Spinning Outside, Fairy Pickup, Ducking Pdx Mirage and Tapping Pincher :P  He didn't comment that :D

Nobody could play today, so I had a solo session. I did a few short strings, but mostly i tried new tricks. Nothing really interesting happened so I'll just write the stuff I've hit:

Toe Blur BS
Backside Toe Blur
Fusion
Plasma
Spinning Pdx Eggbeater
Spinning Ducking Pdx Whirl

Phoenix > Spinning Pdx Whirl > Huuuge jump for flip PS Whirl ended with a nice styley drop

I'm really happy about that Spinning Pdx Eggbeater, because I've been trying that trick for a long time :D . And finally today I've hit it. The bad thing is that I have high temperature right now. I hope I'll get better, because tommorow I'm going to shred with Hania and others, and hear all about the sick stuff that was going on at French Open 2004 :D

Had a nice session yesterday, I was a bit sick but it didn't stop me from playing :) Although there were only Adam, Lechu and me, we had a great time. Adam suggested me to try Superfly, and after some trying I've hit it :D I was very happy, because that's a trick I really like to watch, and now I can do it myself :D . Adam was trying downtime Flux and even hit it once, but the dex could be the. He also busted Whirlygig! That was really cool :D I tried Ripstein, but my Swirls aren't solid enough, and I can't do the Swirling set :( But with some practice I think I'll be able to hit it - it's such a stylie trick :D I've also hit Blurry Whirl > PS Whirl > run, and another one ended with Spin Clip > Spin Clip > Whirlwind > handcatch 8O :D That was the first time I've hit a 6 in a string. Another session starts in about 2,5 hour, it's going to be great :D

I've hit a new milestone today! 5>6 :D It was:
Phoenix > Whirlwind

I was super happy :D I tried a lot of new links today, and hit stuff like:
PS Whirl > Drifter and Blurry Whirl > Drifter in the same string
Vortex > Symp. Whirl first try 8O
footed PS Whirl > Symp. Whirl

I was also really happy when I've tried Phoenix > Pdx Blender for fun and hit it, mostly because my Blenders are not very solid. I also worked on Barraging and hit Janiwalker BS and flip Barraging Legover (crispy way). I think need to school my flipside, and double downs more. Maybe I'll go for Blurry Whirl > PS Whirl > Pdx Blender tommorow. That would be my third 5>5>5 combo. Footbag is so cool! :D

I played yesterday, and I think I'm injured :? My right leg hurts when I rise it, so I can't do any toe sets from it. I'm taking a day off and tommorow I'll see how it feels. Some stuff from yesterday:
I worked on Spinning and Zooming and hit Osis > Spinning Osis, and had Spinning Osis > Inspinning Osis on my foot. Another cool link was Gyro Mirage > Paradon > PS Whirl. Hania rocked! She hit Blurry Whirl both sides! Also Legbeater BS, and cool, long strings, like the one when she hit Pdx Mirage > Paradon BS and Barfly 8O . Daniel hit Legbeater on his flipside, and 5 or 6 Spinning Clippers in a row. That was a good sesh.

I pulled my hamstring :( I probably won't play for a week to let it heal up... Damn, all week without playing... This is going to be hard :? Maybe I'll learn juggling or something. That's my first injury since I started to play. Whole year without any incidents and now :(

...

Beeing injured sucks.

I haven't written in my blog for a while... My leg still hurts a little, but only when I lift it in a toe set way. Sooo, for the last few sessions I've been playing only using Clippers, without Drifter, Torque, Barraging, and without much Stepping on my injured side. So I played and even hit some new stuff:

Frontiside Flurry
Frontside Janiwalker
Symp. Whirling Butterfly midstring

I practice a lot of Ducking and Diving now, also Spinning on my flipside. I hope that my injury will heal up soon, because next Polish tournament is getting near. Yeah, I know I shouldn't play at all. But it's too hard. :(

I didn't play for a week to let my leg fully heal. Yesterday I tried some stuff and it didn't hurt at all so I was really happy and went to our gym to train. In the beggining I could do all I wanted, hit a run with Drifter > Drifter and almost Pdx Drifter BS (dropped the flip one), but then I felt a little pain in my leg. I played a little more and stopped. It looks like my injury didn't heal yet. That was depressing :( It looks like I will have to take another week off. Argh!
Anyway, I've hit one new trick
Symp. Whirling ss Symp. Mirage

I want to play! :x

I visited a doctor today. Or to be more precise, the doctor visited me :) . He diagnosed my injury as a pulled muscle. I had acupuncture and he told me to put a hmm... how is it called in english... a bag with hot water :) on the place where it hurts. So that's what I'm doing right now. I hope that with the help of temperature my leg will heal faster and I will be able to play next week. Until then, no footbag for me :( But at least I will learn juggling! I can already juggle tree footbags, four is hard! 8O The worst thing is that Footbag Fiesta tournament is getting close, and I'm not prepared :? Heal faster, you... leg.

Ha! I finally played today :D It looks like my leg is almost fully healed. In the end of the session I could feel something but I guess it's just because my muscles are weak now. Anyway, it was so great to shred after such a long break. My consistency was bad but with time it got better. We also gave each other Christmas wishes (I'm not shure if it's the right word) and ate some good chocolate (Daniel played a LOT better after that :D ). Here's the stuff I've hit:

Spinning Clipper > Blurry Whirl - I thought about that link for my whole injury :)
Pdx Whirl > Spinning Clipper
Pdx Whirl > Symp. Whirl

Whirl > Pdx Whirl (rpt) midstring
combo with Ducking Clip > Diving Clip (rpt) and Spinning Clip > Ducking Clip (rpt) :D

Hania is busting 8O It's so good to be back :D

My leg is still injured :? :(

The muscle attachment is the thing that causes all the pain. There are not many veins in it, so it regenerates very slowly. It looks like the only way to make it better is to stop playing for a month while not using it much and keeping it warm. I'm thinking what to do. I have two options:
1. Stop playing now and be unprepared for the Footbag Fiesta competition (which starts in a month). Probably I wouldn't compete at all. So I would just go there to shred.
2. Keep playing and change my routine to not include any toe moves. Do the mothly break after the competition. Play with no toe moves and only a few tricks on my flipside.

There should be a third option "eat a magic pill and be healthy in no time"... I think I'll choose number one :? .

Anyway here's the stuff I've hit recently:
Torque > Drifter > Pdx Whirl
a run with Maelstrom and Tomahawk
Double Spinning Osis :D
Far Osis > Butterfly > Spinning Osis > Inspinning Osis off my foot :) That combo is nice because you keep spinning in the same direction with different tricks.
Montage on 4th try

What am I going to do during that month?

I played a little today because Damian Budzik came to shred with us! That was so cool :D He had a break from playing, but was busting anyway  Stuff like Mobius > Pdx Blender, Spinning Pdx Blender, and other hard 5's all around the place. He has a really nice style so watching him play is fun. I played quite good, but got terrible shin pains in the middle of the session. Here's the stuff I've hit:

a run with Spin Pdx Whirl and Whirlwind
Symp Whirling Swirl midstring
Double Spinning Clipper midstring :D
footed PS Whirl > Symp. Whirl many times
Diving Clip > Ducking Clip (rpt) midstring

The best thing was the fact that my leg didn't hurt for almost whole session. I think it's because of the acupuncture I've got before. To not ruin the good shape I'll stop playing. I hope I won't have to wait for a month.
