My First 3 Was Double Orbit

Hit Fairy ss DLO BSOS yesterday. Been having a lot of great interactions with people at the park, lately. It's been pretty sweet getting loads of compliments and people taking an interest, even to the point of wanting to buy a "good bag". Had a pretty big audience today of younger kids today, which made celebrations tricky. My music was already bad enough, let alone a grown dude swearing at the top of his lungs, flailing about. The parents weren't the biggest fan of me, and tried to tell the kids to go elsewhere, but I guess I was enticing enough for their attention spans. Added Freestylin' to the drill list, as well as some Fairy -ish. Crushed the bags today, which was very needed, for there may have been fear. It's good coming into a session with no expectations, other than to shred. Played for almost 2 hours with my Ivan 14 from East Coasts.

Dude:
-Kicked through a 4 minute song >50 op Insides >50 op Toes >20 Toe bumps
-116 Tiltless! With EVERYTHING all Symple(Except Pickups from Clipp) and Muted contacts, as well as Ducking Toe from toe and Clipper.
-That one Butter drill with near/far DLO and Bubba.
-Atomic ss Illusion >Omelet repeat
-Pixie Gold, first try.
-Fairy ss Leg is a VERY fun trick.
-45 contact string, almost all Guiltless, almost all Unique! HOT DAYUM!
-Smudge >Omelet repeat >string
-Fairy ss Pickup >ss Egg repeat >string
-String with Smudge and Fudge BSOS.
-Double Orbit >Atomsmasher repeat
-Flip motha' fuckin' RASMUS!

Currently making some bags, too. One for the Bonsleezy is already done, and next up is Ivan's. These 6 stitches are mad fancy, and probably should have a few for USO. Footbag is 'da bomb.

Mainly just made ya a bag for the tee shirt, and being G as fuck. But some film would be so greatly appreciated. I mean, they are learning, so it's a plus, right?! "Fuck my balls you anal seepage shit!" - Classic

Yes, Paul, those are them. Glad you deeg them 8)

Heartbeat

Finally figured out a good routine song, finally! My first run through was after a nearly 3 hour session with one of my buddys. Only dropped 5 times on both tries. It's not much, but a nice slow build up so I don't have to work hard. Aww yeah. Might not scratch my routine at USO after all. Made a 8 panel with 10 stitches yesterday, cause I didn't feel like cleaning bags, so made one for le shred. It's so damn round, boo-yah. Nothing fancy on the shred side, did the typical drills and some freestylin'. Fairies are clicking about, and so are le Doubles. Whilst shredding, thought about how Evan once said if I did a routine with just Eggbeaters, that it could win. Ended up hitting almost 40 Eggs, though, some were frozen. Clippers may be bueno, but I've said that so many times, I can never believe it. Playing lots of bags, nephew is dank, and gonna rage it up. That is all.

Forgot:
This song perfectly embodies how I feel shreddin' it up. And the outro is kinda how I feel about Footbag. I love you.

One Last Quickie

Before Footbag, some Footbag. Turns out my sister is cruising into town for Sperm Donor Day, so I'll be able to roll with her back to the land of Ports and stay there till the 1st. All of the ample time with err'body and enough time to wander and get lost amongst some hipsters. Stoked to chill with people(Footbaggers) of Portland, shall be good for training, chess, and many a good time. Gonna be cool to mix some family in with le Baggers, people will like her. Money is going to be super tight, but, it's for the cause. Work the corner or just eat grass, yo no se. Played yesterday with my homie, again. 'Twas roughly 2 hours of shred. Felt like poop, but had some mean flows going. Tend to try and count contacts, even when not my own, and soon my buddy started to pick up on that and helped me count from time to time. He hit his first flip Mirage, oh snap!

Weenie:
-Along the lines of Pixie ss Knee Bump >ss Leg >Pixie op Knee Bump >ss Leg >Pixie ss Knee Bump >ss leg >Pixie ss Knee Bump >Leg >Pixie ss Knee Bump >DLO
-Atomic ss Illusion >Omelet repeat
-25 Unique Genuine Toe Guiltless(Pixie Gold >DLO war >Egg war >Atomic Leg >Magellan >mad ragin' handcatch for repeating)
-Bladerunner BSOS (Flip came second 8) )
-33 contact run of just DLOs and Eggs. Bitch!

Glorious times are approaching, not that they weren't already here. Dude is trying to get me back into graffitti, this may be a thing. Potentially a dumb one, but a thing.

Let my Dad down, could only recreate 2 of those highlights during the USO. My knee bumps weren't on point.

Whoa

The brain shall explode some type onto this page. Ended up hurting my back while helping my Uncle move, which impeded me quite a bit at first. Luckily, Landes is adamant about yoga, and I hopped onto that train. Cruised with my sister and her buddy back to Portland. Good talks galore, and probably shared far too much info that loved ones shouldn't necessarily know. Crashed at her place the first night. Got lost trying to find a place to shred, but it's OK. Explored, and some people coached me up, so decided to play under a streetlight. Not the best shred, but it needed to be done.

Next day, my sister went out to explore Seattle a bit, and I had the place to myself. Got ahold of Nick, and he was down to play, so I saved it for that. Planned on crashing there, since there was a bed, but I'm screaming out "Fuck That". Came to chill with shredders, so gathered all my heaps of shit and mobilized to dude. We both agreed that the session shouldn't be too intense, and it wasn't. Mt. Tabor is so chill. Got down on some yoga, chiefed up a storm, did some bonding, and crashed out.

Nick had work, and he made me a map of places to go check out while I had time to kill. Found some good street art, but not so much graffiti. Stumbled upon what I thought was a public garden, and turned out to be someone's backyard. Gotta love that vegetation. Stocked up some grubbage and got back in time to beat Nick there. He was feeling eh, and wanted to be sure to save some for the weekend, so he passed on a sesh with the Deanster and Beaves. This is where I finally started to push past whatever pain was getting to me. Smashed on a bike to the park near the homie. After about an hour, peaced out to finish the day. Hoag was supposed to arrive this night, but he booked some cheapy flight that almost boned him, he would make it in the AM. Before we knew that, killed some time with Smash Bros at one Nick's good pals spots. Mad chill folks, and mad skilled. Love me some nerds. Sleep then ensued.

Hogan finally arrived by cab, and we coached up a storm. Cassy was to arrive later, but she said she wasn't game for shreddin', so we got down right away. Mt. Tabor round 2! Not the best play, but things happened, and Nick got some good practice in. Met up with Bob and met his son Rauri, they were nice enough to give us a ride back to Nick's.Tried to get some quick sleep before going out and about, but it didn't really happen. Cassy arrives. Time for the food and more chillin'. One last round of Smash Bros.

So it begins. People were drained, so nap time was going down off and on for a while. I don't sleep. Bathroom. The plan was to meet up with some Footballers and shred near the river, but that wasn't for some time. Dustin ended up showing up and hanging with us for most of the weekend, aww yeah. Meet up with some peeps and get down with some baggery. Not the best, again, but better for sure. Played for a while, till it was time for the registration party. Cale was one of the only other shredders that was there, and he was looking to play, so of course, we played. It's so hard not to play when someone wants to. Food, hangin', puffin', delicious cobbler, and finally more shredders! Justin Dale! It had been too long. Net peeps are so nice. Head back to Flash's for one last hurrah. Man, I like that guy. From Hogan's reaction, East Coast coach must blow. Sleep.

Tournament begins. Head to the store, get swooped by my sister, and get to the event site. Shred starts right away, for damn near all day. Judged the intermediates, I don't envy that job. Things go on and on, glad I was able to coach so many peeps, nothing better than helping the homies. After the comp was officially done, mass amounts of shred went on. Was so damn sweaty, chafing occurred in the places they shouldn't. Time for the after party. Naked bike ride was awesome, but made it difficult for people to meet up, oh darn. Head to Wren's for more partying. Chess, drinking, coach, fireworks, talks, baby raccoons, and all that jam.

Didn't plan on playing the next day, but I have no will power for such things, especially when most people were dippin' right after the event. After the comp was over, made sure to play for however long others were playing for. The best of times was beginning to slow. Head back to refresh and meet up for the final night of debauchery. This is also where an ongoing joke started, "Derek Littlefield" was said many times while dexes were hit. Meet up with Ken, Haley, Bob, Khoa, and Chris. Drinking and eating, followed by more drinking and kicking. People were ready for more, so met up at another bar closer to Nick's. Khoa and Chris were the only ones to follow. More drinks, pool, and non-sense. Bar had a great selection of music on the jukebox. Head home for shenanigans.

Monday Funday was sweet, but pretty brutal. Peeps were somewhat drained, but it stopped nothing. This was a place I could die happily at. Especially after Gordon jump on the "Derek Littlefield" joke. After some time, finally have to call it. My sister had driven us there, and drove us back to Nick's. Clean up and commence the night of chillin'. It was late, so store was the food option, where Kevin got himself some fireworks whilst tipsy. Board games were played, raspberries were thrown. fireworks went off, Hogan having a blast and spilling shizz, being in the field, and calling it a night.

The final chills. Nick had to work, so the goodbyes started soon. Hogan's phone pooped on him, so he set up some shizz to maybe fix it, which didn't work out. Cassy was the next to go. Fuck goodbyes, even if I'll be seeing her soon. Hogan got back, and was ready to shred away the failure of his mission. Good times. Really shouldn't have played, but I don't ever see Kevin, and he's G as fuck. Eventually played a game where we tried to hit 25 Unique Triple Dexes(not in the same string). He won, of course, 25-22, but it was pretty fun to push for that with someone. Blade BSOS made it worth it. All the final time was absorbed as much as possible, to the extent I got my sister to get him a ride to PDX. Last hug of the weekend. My ride wanted to get the trip out of the way, which wasn't the original plan. Sucked cause Johnny "Breakdown" was scheduled to be in Portland that night. UGH! Just want to rage with that guy.

My hip is currently pretty fucked, but oh well, it'll heal. World's is too close, still have things to handle. Gonna miss that Hogan guy, but happy that most of the peeps there I will see in Denmark. Hit Bladerunner SO many times. Sorry to leave out like almost everything. Thug life. Love you peeps.

Glad you enjoyed it. Had to leave that out, 'tis some exclusive shizz. Yeah, well I'm thinking that's going to be changing soon ;) Of course, good sir, can't wait till next time. If I find one over yonder, expect a picture.

All We Need

Damn good session today, or I guess, yesterday. 'Twas the first shred since USO, wrecked on 'dem baggies to the max. There was a witness. Did some typical lame 4th things, BBQ, swim, watch people burn things, and more swim. The hype for Worlds is real, pretty sure doing decent at staying on top of it. Signed up for routines, so it's happening. Song only says "Fuck" once, so it's as clean as I can stand. Yay for dirty foulness. Did three solid run throughs, one with only 4 drops. Finally piecing it all together. Guess what, it ends with a Blade, which is hit more than not.

Poopin':
-Tiltless to 100+
-Ducking op Clipper *8
-Infinity *8
-Butter >P Mirage repeat *10
-Butter drill with near/Paradox DLO and Egg
-DSO >Double Orbit repeat >string >DSO >Double Orbit repeat >drop on a Legover
-Atomic ss Leg *15
-Atomic ss Illusion >Omelete repeat >fatty string >Ducking far Pickup >Pixie same Butter >handcatch
-Mad flowy dense string ending in hand catch after 30+
-Pixie Gold first try

Was a bit scared of playing today, 'dem pains. But, swear I play better when all beat up. Yee. Bringing joy to a life near you <3

Wait, What?

Before I tell you about the annihilation of the bags today, have a fun lil' tale for ya. Went to Target to get some lighters and underwear, had my heaphones in and some grand jams were coming on. When I went to the cashier, couldn't help but dance a bit while waiting in line. Get down for quite some time before I notice the couple behind me started moving around, gyrating, as well. The dude who walks into the line behind them does some 2-steppin', and the cashier was doing some arms rolls. In other words, got the party crackin' at Target 8)

Obliterated the sacks today, with my buddy Justin. He hit Orbit >Mirage >op Toe stall >Mirage >Stalls. Snap. Played for almost 2 hours, and got 3 routine attempts. The last one was only 2 drops!!!!! Got cocky and tried to end on flip Blade, but hot damn, only 2 drops with all my cues hit, and very little slop. AND, it's practically all Toes  FUCKING PUMPED. Shredding in 95+ weather has been great, but I get so sweaty that it's usually the culprit of ending the session. Hoping that I can bring the heat to Worlds, cause I've been playing great. Must be because of that Satan guy, he's hella cool.

Boom:
-24 op Clipps
-13 ss Clipps BS
-Tri-Force to 4+
-100 Tiltless to handcatch, first flippin' try.
-Ducking op Clipper *10
-Infinity *12
-Butter >P Mirage repeat *5
-Butter drill with near/Paradox DLO and Egg
-Double Orbit >Legover >Double Orbit >Legover *5
-DSO >Orbit >DSO >Orbit *3
-Routines (2 Drop PR!)
-DSO *12 >epic string >handcatch
-DSO >Double Orbit repeat
-Tap >Atomic ss Pickup repeat >Atomic Leg >Atomic ss Leg repeat >Atom >Atom
-Atomic ss Illusion >Omelet repeat
-Pixie Gold
-DLO war >Egg war *3
-Smog >Pig >Pig >Smog BS
-Alpine PLO >Orbit >Alpine PLO >Orbit *5+(?)
-Bladerunner BS
-Rasmus BS

Life things may be taking place soon, some pretty big ones, just can't back down. Footbag is becoming life, and it's fucking spectacular.

It's just ridiculous that you can actually do DSO x12. If you can do DSO that well, you can totally hit some Paradons.

What's Tri-Force?

90% of your highlights is stuff that I have no shot at. It's craziness.

Do you think you'd be down to do a sweet little Pixie tutorial? Ivan and I had a session today and just had the most epic struggles with Pixie sets.

I can't wait til your clipper game catches up with your toe game. You're going to be unstoppable at that point. Looks like you're already making nice Clipper strides, too.

Messaged ya about most of that, Mr. Polini. You would think that Paradons would be easy, but you have to remember that Clippers and I are mortal foes.

Thanks, yo :D It's still not too late to do what feels natural to you, take what people say into consideration, but do you, cause only you know you, like you. As the great Pipebomb once told me, "Fuck the haters". While I agree that Stepping sucks, it's still hella cool, and to be able to do Osis would make my life complete. Playing with the Mobius master, Dr. Bear, makes me want to do that trick all day, like him. Torque flows so awesomely, as well.

Soyrizo

Was supposed to go to the woods today to contemplate life properly, but when you have an opportunity to make a fair amount of money for next to nothing, gotta do whatcha gotta do. Luckily, have some dope homies who'll Skype, discuss life, and what have ya. People can be so great. Life after World's has gone from dismal to rather exciting, hoping that it stays that way.

Played Footbag yesterday, and it was pretty fudgin' glorious. Planned on filming some Pixie -ish for Polini and Ivan, and figured since I was planning on freestyling already(Thanks Kemmer!), may as well film the rest of the sesh. My number one goal was to get 100 Tiltless on camera, on all 3 attempts, only got to 50+. Erg. The flows were coming, and Bladerunner was feeling so damn easy. Hit Blade >Blade on 3 occasions, had to be sure it was clean-ish. The Pig >Blade repeat was cursed. Started on both sides around 10 times, and almost every time, was able to get 3 contacts deep, or foot the last Blade. Crossed my mind to be done with Blade, then, I was like FUCK THAT, can never do enough Blade. Believe it was hit roughly 15 times on each side. Tried for Rasmus BSOS, but alpine from Atomic is trickier than it seems. Daniel Boyle, if you read this, the Blade >Alpine PLO BSOS was for you. Remember you requesting more Alpine stuff, and it definitely inspired that. Actually had a dream that I hit Alpine Pixie Gold 8O

Have a feeling that Alpine Blade may be my first 6 8) Trying to get well before World's, and believe I am succeeding to some extent. Back to drilling today. Y'all my homies.

Edit: Hit Atomic Gold today.

Awww, yeah! When I get there, will I finally meet you?

If You're Awake, You Have Energy, Utilize It

The amount of love I get from you people is unfathomable, many fudgin' thanks. Some quick life things before some quick Footbag. Stopped a kid from getting jumped in an alley way, poor dude. Thankful the kids beatin' on him didn't bring their shizz my way. No way I'm hitting a 16 year old, regardless of how much they may have deserved it. My buddy cruised all the way up from San Diego when he heard about my adventures, and potential for embarking on life. He is also planning on doing some major travels(India and Japan), so this may the last time we do some proper chilling in quite some time. Came up for the weekend and got into a wee bit of nonsense, 'twas great. After he heard about my plans of being a bum in Denmark, he and his lady friend became real adamant on me taking money from them. Tried to deny it as much as I could, but eventually obliged, and he gave me $100 to use for a hotel or goodies only. What a homie. So this guy is probably going to have a hotel for the first night or two out in Europa, ballin'. Wish I could tell you guys the magic that occurs in these new underwear, has worked wonders already. Magic.

Lastly, went to Sac today to play with the dude who resides there. While on the freeway some epic driving skills were tested. A trucker decided to not see me, when I was in the middle of his haul, and pull into my lane. At the same time I notice a dude in the lane to my right MOBBIN' on through. Boxed out. To avoid getting hit by either, pulled a super sharp turn which led to a 180. Luckily, there was a lanes worth of space on the edge of the road, where I safely landed. Geeze. Don't tell my folks. Got to dude's spot, and was ready to destroy the shakiness in my legs with the obliteration of bags. Loren has gotten pretty damn good since I last played with him, but he like big tricks compared to strings. Which is cool, but hard to watch. He hit Pig, Ducking Butter B2B, Dynos, Blenders, Paradox Drifter, and a clean Atomsmasher. He was nice enough to let me get a free bag from him, which the colors are to die for and I dig. Took a while to warm up, but pulled some good things out, and performed great under pressure.

Yup
Previous
-Tri-Force to 6.5 (54 contacts of PURE Clipper)
-Atomic Ducking Leg BS
-DSO >Double Orbit repeat *3
-Video stuff

Today
-Pixie Gold >DLO war >Egg war first try
-Atomic Gold (Atomic ss Illusion >Omelet repeat >Atomic Leg >Atomic ss Leg repeat >Tap >Atomic ss Pickup repeat >handcatch)
-Butter drill with near/Paradox DLO and Egg first try
-Ducking Paradox DLO first try BS
-Pig >ss Smog repeat >string
-DANK strings for spectators

So ya know, I hit Blade BS EVERY session. Worlds is coming so soon, and the excitement is unreal! Keep slacking somewhat on the routine training, gotta stop, cause I believe I can do well. Much love, peeps!

^Sure thing, just give me 5 years.

My left arm is bleh on Clipper, how odd. Lots of filler in this, but some decent shizz. Done with filming until after Worlds. 3 times I could only get to 90+ Tiltless on camera, it's been a little frustrating, but digging the consistency. Also hit 199 Legovers and 1 Mirage, the other day. Good drill DLO >Atom repeat >Egg >Omelet repeat

Quick Worlds thoughts. Really trying to explore as much as I can, while still chilling with all the peoples. Still debating on staying out there through WWOOF, have shizz lined up and everything. Hotel, 'dough. Wee bit worried I'll be too much of a weenie for the weather, the highs are only looking like ~70, which I consider on the closer side to cold without the sun. Played a lot in the shade recently, and even that I find chilly when there is a breeze. Food is the real concern. My rate of consumption is at an all time high, and still not gaining weight. Hoping that I can eat enough to get by, cause I plan on playing a lot. Lastly, eff saving it for the competition. Was thinking about saving stuff for the comp, but NO. Sideline shred shall be life. So don't expect any dropless routine, or not choking in Circle. Want to get at least 40 hours of Dexbag in over the course of being in Denmark. Don't think it should be too hard as long as people are playing, and my body doesn't quit on me. Evan likes to shred all damn day, and that's what I'm ecstatic for. But maybe not, depending on what he plans on doing.

FUCKING WORLDS, YO 8O

Shredded hard, went to do a routine run through cause I was feeling fantastic. Moment I got to the Toe bump section and did my first Toe bump, pop in the back and pain, pain, pain. No sleep. I'll be so fudgin' bummed if I can't play in CPH, but 100 times more so if I can't even bare the flight. Healing powers activate.

Sorry to hear about the back. Downward Dog and Child's Pose helped the most for me a few weeks ago. Best wishes.

Pre-Game

Landed yesterday from Denmark, oh boy. By far the best time of my life, thus far. Which is crazy due to the fact I hardly even shredded, though I was able to force myself to play with everyone, no matter how low my level of play was. Also, lost my bag of bags, but who cares about that -ish. Fucking stoked to have met and chilled with peeps there, great people. Went more into party mode, which may have hurt me as much as shred, but socializing was all I had. Going to do this in chunks, as it hurts to sit here and do this. It'll be that boring chronological shizz which will get burned through, but will include thoughts and what have you as I go.

To start, arrived on Thursday around noon. This was my first time going to Europe, and by far my longest flight ever. Not a big fan of planes, but being able to watch the sun set and rise was rather marvelous. Already had plans lined up with Landes and peeps, just had to check into my hotel first. Another comp where I meet up with Nick right away, boo-yah! He is one of my favorite people on this planet, let alone in Footbag. Consumed some tea, and he hooked it up with grubbage before rolling to the sesh. No play from me, but met up with Matt, Cass, and Troels. Snap, the first Dane! With the same smoking etiquette as myself. 'Twas time to call it and get some food, which was snacks from a grocery store, before heading back to Verena's. Eventually, Verena would get back with Caroline. Ahhh! So many new faces met right away, fucking dank. They had some business to attend to, so we did a quick coachin' before heading out and about. Asmus and his brother, Peder, were trying to meet up at a cheap clown bar, which I was all for. Quickly learned that Danes rage late. Killed some more time wandering and what have ya before Cass was done. Walked her back to her hostel when I got a text from Asmus saying it was on, FUCK YES. Jam back, big ol' hugs were shared, and the chilling commenced. Many rounds were bought and stories were told. Eventually, Caroline and Verena made it out, and shortly after, Cass and Alex came to party, as well. The posse was formed. Nick, Verena, and Caroline called it, and I followed them back to roll some shizz and get some more chills in. Get to the bar for puffs and drinks. Cali buds are too strong for some people, how great. Even got the party man to do the deed. People were pretty sloppy, and I had to get escorted home by a lovely lady.

Hotel was bangin', but it was time to check out. Get my free b-fast on, and make some moves back to Verena's, where I happened to run into Evan and his girlfriend, Anna, on the streets. Footbag timing can be so on point. Kick the shit, then form a squad to roll to my favorite place, Christania. It was quite the long walk there, but so worth it, and did most of my photography then. Brian, Nick, Caroline, Matt, Alex, and I made our way there, eventually meeting up with my buddy Tony who was doing some Euro travels of his own. Hack circle was formed, randoms hopping in and out, goods were bought, and grub/smoking occurred. Some dude had a little too much fun there, and fainted right in front of Brian, poor guy. But, it was time to make moves back to the home base. Matt dipped out to his hostel, cause the walk was too much, while the rest of us went to the park while Verena finished some shizz with Evan. Greens were burnt while Nick and I climbed some rocks, what a dope park. Tony was super beat and crashed most of the night, eventually on Verena's couch, it was pretty funny. Evan was looking to shred, so of course it happened, and it was epic. Drinkin' and what not went on back at Verena's till it was quite late. 'Tis was the night I crashed with Peder, burning the night away while watching Californication, and having some grand chats galore.

HUGE fan of the Danish crew, and chillin' with Asmus was so damn cool. He also paid me some wonderful compliments to my game which won't be forgotten. If I hadn't been injured, would have definitely ripped up my ticket and stayed for as long as possible, for it felt like I was really just getting to know them. Plus, Christania feels like home. WILL be back again. The love of Denmark is real, graffiti, peanut butter, friendly peeps, bike lanes, free range open containers, and a butt load of English speakers. The beginning of things is up next.

Bit of a rant before the World's. Please, do not feel sorry for me, for I have had the opportunity to meet people and travel to places some will never do. Not being able to play at this time feels like the essence of my being is starting to drain away. Was really looking forward to showing people in Denmark that you don't need Clipper to be a great player, not that I am great, but getting on that way. My whole routine was going to be just Toes, unless I was tired and wanted to throw some BP's in. Now, not saying that Clippers are dumb and you shouldn't do them, in fact it's the opposite. Not too sure many people appreciate BOPs as much as me, due to the fact that those are flippin' hard, or at least in my eyes. Infinities and Osii are by far some of the most stylish looking tricks in my opinion. They are still 3's(BIG fan of ADDs)! One of the main reasons for pushing for this, is not only cause Clippers feel wrong to me, but really don't like in the Jorden Moir's 10 tips to be good at Footbag, it states you should learn Clipper. And, that you will struggle to get 12+ contacts with le toes. While I understand what he is saying, think it's wrong to tell people you need Clipper to get better at Footbag. Appreciate when people tell me to learn Clipper, or mainly Osis, but they tend to say it like I don't try already. Lon Smith and Brian Bear have both sat with me trying to coach me on the ways of Osis/Clipper with little gain. Flippin' lived with Brian for a month. Toes are fun for me, Clippers, not quite, so let me do what I do. If you think I'd make BAP by upping my Clipper game, imagine how cool it would be if I made BAP without learning Osis. Fucking legendary. Whatever, I'm crazy, and you shouldn't listen to a madman.

Doin' It

Arose, and it was time to head towards home base alpha for the week. The rain decided to make it presence felt, so got a bit wet heading to the AirBNB Ted got in Frederiksberg. That Thor guy is silly. This is where the main squad would be, Alex, Cass, Matt, Mathieu, Nazly, Ted, Jim, Chrissy, and myself. Get established, finally, and begin the hunt for a bike. Searching for things on the internet seems to be tricky there, as not everything is listed, and some places close down for the Summer due to the tourist rush. Find a cheap spot in the middle of the city, and bus our way to get it. The bus was confusing(and expensive), as our stop was not showing up, instead the intersection where it was was the only thing showed. Missed the stop, and decided to double back. Me and Alex didn't get our tickets printed cause Ted was being Ted and caused some laggage, and we did not want to spend another $5, so we said we would just walk it. Didn't seem that complicated. We wander about and finally make it to the spot, couldn't really find it, walk around more to find other spots, but they were all closed. Didn't want to give up, so we literally walked the whole city. People would lead us in a direction where there wasn't anything, unsure if they don't like tourists, or couldn't tell us no. Nothing, so it was time to head back. Asked a local for advice, and he said to steal a bike. What a character. After miles of walking, the thought started to tickle our minds, though we both agreed we could never do it. Lots of bikes aren't even locked up, and we eyed a beat up POS one for a while, till some guy who looked like he was waiting for the opportunity to fight called us out. Played it off as asking for directions, which he failed at giving, and were on our way. My Google maps was sending us in wrong directions, as well. The dot would show we were going the correct way, keep on trucking on, and when we'd check back, it says we were going the wrong way the whole time. Ugh. It was a pretty great bonding experience, though. And we got to know the city rather well from all the circles we walked. Actually found 3 bike rentals spots within 5 minutes of our home base. It poured on us pretty heavily from time to time. Good times. Got alcohol and junk food when we were close, ran the last half mile back with lots of yelling and what not. 10 or so miles later. Everyone else failed on the bike mission, too, and all beat. A night of chilling and puffin' with the flat mates. Sad that we couldn't make the early registration shred, would have been where I could witness Aleksi in 3-D. Oh, well. Sleeps.

Wake up and make a quick store run before heading to the event site, lucky enough to have a store on the same block as our crash site. Was ready to meet peeps and see some shreddage, so it was time to mobilize. Me and Chrissy were the only ones ready, so we striked it on out. SO MUCH GRAFFITI. What an even site, so flippin' dank. Meet more Danes! They are my favorite. And see some familiar faces. Hugs, hugs, hugs. Nick made it over, his crash site was a 5 minute stroll from the event site, literally overlooking it. 'Twas time to burn. Troels and Nis accompany us for quite possibly my favorite sesh. Damn, these guys are fucking cool. We were all prepared so the session went on longer than intended, and Nis was needed back. Make our way back and people were gearing up for shred. The rest of our flat crew arrived too. Was hurting pretty bad, but too stubborn to stop myself from shredding with people. Popped a bunch of meds, and loaded on some numbing patches. Ken, El Kemino, Troels, Kuba, Caroline, Chrissy, Dominick, Krystek, and many other were getting down. Went to stop on many occasions, but I hate watching people play by themselves, so would hop back in when someone new would show up, like Daniel Boyle. He hit a dope string with my bag of Footbags. So glad to finally meet the dude, fan of them Aussies. Played my best this day, which isn't saying much. Eventually, Vasek showed up, and got to get my fanboy on and meet him. HOLY SHIT. Thought I was healing up, but forgot how many meds were taken. Whatever. Watch opening ceremony, then it was time to dip and clean up. The party spot was at the park near Verena's, which is amazing, for I love to be a hoodlum in the park. Our flat was the first of peeps to arrive, other than Kim, Asmus, and some net peeps. Alex was then shown a wonderful way to open wine bottles with a tree. Alex and I were stoked to see Soren's grave, which was only 10 minutes away, so we made a quick de-tour. Perfect, cause when we got back, EVERYONE got there. Mass amount of drinking and smoking occurred, and this was where the last of the Cali buds was burned, had to save some for Aleksi, and it was good a fair amount of people got to try it. Sharing is caring. Jim and Casey were pretty stoked too, for the quality of tree in Denmark wasn't the highest of high. Meet all sorts of people that night, it was spectacular, and soon, the party was moved to a more respectable spot, some bar, if I remember correctly. Asmus is pretty damn good at hearding crowds. Time to head back, though. Cuddles and sleep.

First official day of comp, and we had to get our bikes first. Kinda wish I ended up doing more things on my own, cause Ted can be overbearing and I don't have any fucks to give. Alex and I get set, and head out for the event site. Turns out, my circle was last, so I got there too early. totally planned on scratching from all events, but when I saw it was just Anton and Alexander in it, couldn't let them do a 1 v 1. Fuck. Thought I was up sooner, and had popped things accordingly, but had to wait some time before it was on. Got to meet Andy, who has one of my favorite styles, which was rad. And would have the pleasure of watching him, Kemino, and Evan wreck lives in a circle later on. Time goes by, and was finally about time. Really wanted to play somewhat well, but pains were creeping, so more pills for me. Brought enough for 2 weeks, and almost killed them all by day 5. Whoops. Played like shit, but at least it happened. Good times nonetheless. my body was wrecked, and Brian saved lives with some puffage and a wee bit of grub. Ready for the day to end. Roll back to Nick's for chilling afterwards, and he saved me as well with food. Pooped and ready to head back. Asmus was not partying that night, therefore, neither as I. So spent the time chilling with the flat peeps.

Apologies for leaving out SO MUCH, would prefer to have this done, though. Breakdown action occurred, and it was just the beginning. Klovnens was GREAT, Jeg Elsker Deg! This was the start of the epic of epics. It was fantastic to have Cass right there, huge advocate of whatever it is we have going on. She's best, nothing THE about her. Wish my the flat homies didn't have to see me as they did, mornings, and post shred are when it was the worst. Luckily, a big fan of pain 8) Also sad that Nick worried about me so. He had saw me struggle at USO, and saw me struggle even more so here. Was able to play it off well, but you can't hide the paleness of oneself when the body wants to quit. A big downfall of myself is I have a lot of pride in being able to take care of myself, and really hate when people worry about me. People have enough going on, and I don't wish to be one of them. Soon to come, all the chills with the LEGENDS of the sport. Plus, glorious time chilling with El Kemino, real glad we got to hang as much as we did, another of my favorite peoples.
