So East Coasts was ballin, to say the least. Long story short, I got second place in routines! I sucked in circle though haha.

Random highlights:

- Late night cramped 4 square with Drew, Will, and Jordan
- Montage in front of people
- Crispy flurry one side
- Late night 2-square-4-square in the hotel gym
- Mark "Monster" Monistere being a badass
- Having a not disappointing routine
- playing F.O.O.T.B.A.G. with Nick, Mark, and Doug
- Getting to hang with everyone again.

Good times

Here's my routine!:

You guys played 4 square Saturday night?! I wanted to play so bad but didnt think anyone was in the mood. Dammit John, this is just like the IHOP incident!

It was fun hanging with you this weekend. I cant believe I dropped twice on inspinning clipper in F-O-O-T-B-A-G, though! Aw well, at least I only ended up with F-O-O-T-B-A-G-!, whereas you had F-O-O-T-B-A-G-!-?-!-?-!-?-! ...or something like that. :P

Hey man props on the routine!! Your style is looking tight man, it's been too long since we've played. You gonna be at NYJ in Chicago this winter?

Thanks, Dante! And, my NYJ prospects aren't looking to good. My sister moves out to las vegas next week, so all my travel money will generally be saved to visit her a could times a year.

Kicked for just under 2.5 hours today. In the beginning, my legs decided they wanted to do eggbeaters, so I was like, "okay!" I hit:

- fairy ss eggbeater bs
- mantis bs
- crazy close to bedwetter bsos several a time, starting from both sides

Later, I was doing ps whirl stuff, and found my injury from east coasts wasn't entirely gone yet. I did learn, however, it's one of those bad form kinda dealios. So, when I do a good form ps, the pain isn't really there. I guess I gotta be more careful.

I was also apparently able to actually get some string length today. First, I hit a string of like 30 contacts, so I wanted to do it again. Got 19. Then, got 24. Then, got 25. A little while later, i got 28. This is all in addition to many other strings in the teens. At this point, my body was telling me to stop.

I stretched, meditated, and drank my protein shake.

The end.

I've been taking it pretty easy since east coasts, just letting my body chill. Hoping the minor ps whirl injury finally went away, and I haven't felt it since the last session I blogged about.

Last night, my body finally told me enough is enough, and I got the urge to kick at like 11 PM, so I did. Good times were had. Then, I kicked again between classes today to try and get my body in like super awake mode for my corporate finance quiz. I hit:

- mantis bsos with strongside gyro dlo (dropped the flip one. almost epic string)
- massacre bs
- pdx massacre bs

I really like massacre. Feels effin cool lol. I think I tried it pdx midstring recently when kicking with drew and will. I don't even know why I tried it there, considering I hadn't tried it maybe in a year? I was thinking about it a lot though recently, so it was time to hit it!

Great highlights John! Mantis is a dream trick for me. Way sick you BSOS'ed it. All the Massacre stuff is way over my head. You rip at flailing stuff. Ever since east coasts and schooling me with those Flailing tricks in F-O-O-T-B-A-G, I've really had Flails on my mind... Not yet though... I wanna work on stuff I'm closer too first :P Your form on them is so bitchin' though. Hope that PSW injury doesn't return. Keep up the impressive footbaggings. Peace man.

Haha thanks guys. But, I've still got a ways to go before even beginning to get scary good.

Kicked last night with Drew. It was an alright session. Hit both massacre and pdx massacre bs again. I had a string with what I believe to be my longest expanse of shuffle to date. I just wish I were counting. Reaistically, it probably was only like 10-12, but it felt a lot longer. And, I think it was all even midstring. The funny part was I didn't drop till I decided to slow down and not do shuffle. I also may or may not have had my longest string to date. I lost track of counting around 23, so I figured it capped at 30ish, but Drew thought it was 35-40 contacts. I'll just have to do it again and count to not be a n00b

I've been battling a cold for the past few days. It hit me the worst on Friday, and I did a lot to really just slap it in the face. I guess what I did was good, cause it never really rebounded, so haha, fuck you, cold.

Kicked with NYFA yesterday. My girlfriend and Will T came along too. It was a fun session. It always is with them. I had some good strings here and there. There was a streak towards the end of the session where no matter what different trick I was hitting, I couldn't make it past a few contacts lol. Anyway, it was still an overall good time.

Afterwards, my girlfriend and I went ice skating at the rockefellar ice rink. I love doing the tourist stuff and all, but I just have to say the rental skates there suck lol. Not that I've gone ice skating more than like 5 times in my life, but still, they didn't even seem properly balanced lol. No far swirls in them, nuh uh.

Okay, back to my homework about a poorly informed walrus lol.

I died x9000 lol

And with the ice skates... don't even pretend you didn't try footbagging in them. I tried clippers one time when I went ice skating with my ex. Not so good :P

I'm sorry about your walrus :( Don't feel too bad, they never know what they're talking about.

Haha I regrettably didn't actually try to clipper in them.

So something I forgot to write in here recently was that probably sometime last week, I hit the 4 year mark. Ugh lol. I definitely hoped to be a lot better than I am at this point, but whatever, there are no excuses to be made. Just gotta make up for lost time.

Well anyway, kicked tonight. The main goal was whirl x20 bs considering I crapped out on trying to get whirl records like 2 years ago. The best I ever got last time I tried was either like 8 or 11. So 20 would be a good goal to see if I've progressed a wee bit or not right? Sure. Baby Steps. Ultimately, I got 20 strong side and 19 flipside. I'll take it for now.

I also worked a bit on pixie tonight, cause it's something that's always been weaker for me. While it won't happen too soon, I actually see pixie everything in my future. Some of my understanding seemed to be a bit higher tonight. Also while I was working my way towards the whirls, I simply got the feeling that fog wouldn't be all too hard tonight for some reason. It definitely felt different, but I never bsos'd it. Came pretty damn close though. Also came close again to getting bedwetter bsos. One day soon, I'm going to start being able to bsos both of them. They're those kinda tricks that just taunt me cause I didn't practice dlo and egg enough in earlier stages. So, time to drill those more too!

Yeah...
