Highlights from the past few days in no special order:

Ripwalk>spinning clipper bs
Ripwalk x9 again
More shuffly things
blur>PLO>dimwalk>ripwalk - This was an idea/request from David Moutard. The plan was for me to repeat it, but I could only hit it on one side. It's my pixies that are holding me back.
osis>flapper>dragon
Last night I footed the final trick in dimwalk>ripwalk>mobius It is definetly achievable.
pixie ss mirage bs - Working on b2b

Thanks David, and yeah I give flipside a shot every once in a while.

Update from the past few days:

I hit this the other night. I didn't set out to do ripwalks that night, I was planning on just making a short footbag "happy birthday" video for my cousin. But then I felt like ripwalks too.

Highlights in no specific order:
ripwalk x11
sidewalk>ss legover>clipper>dlo>clipper>drifter>spinning clipper
ripwalk>blur>butterfly>rev swirl - that link bsos
BSOS double pickup and BSOS barrage in the same string
3 symp whirls in one string (2 strong 1 flip) - working on 2 each side
3 double pickups in one string (2 strong 1 flip) - working on 2 each side

Observation: Tonight I was doing just symp whirls and double pickups for at least half an hour. Normally, this would bother my knees. But my knees couldn't feel better at the moment. Maybe I am improving my technique, maybe its because I used borrowed Quantums tonight. I don't know, but I like it. :)

Short session tonight, I have a lot of homework. But highlights nonetheless-

I'm begining to feel more confident with my ripwalks midstring and out of other tricks. So tonight I tried them out of spinning.
spinning clipper>ripwalk bs - working on it b2b
spinning clipper>ripwalk>spinning clipper

Random find - I found another one of those links that were just meant to be. It feels so good to hit and it flows so well.
osis>torque bs

Thanks Derek!

Tonight I had good session. I didn't hit anything notable. But I felt great, my legs felt fantastic, and my shuffle was on point.

Your Pixie and Stepping are already really good, have you considered learning another set now?

It's the greatest fun in footbag, deciding about one's third set. Like choosing a starter Pokemon. 8)

My game isn't ready for a third set yet, I haven't mastered my first two. And I'm sorry if I disappoint you guys.... but I was never into Pokemon :S My little brother is and I learned how to play just to teach him, but other that, Pokemon and I have never crossed paths.

Session Highlights:
My old consecutive op clipper record was 24. Embarrassing, I know. So today I gave it another shot today and hit 73. That felt really good. It made my legs happy. My legs also want 100 now.

On December 23, I had a shortened day of school. I got home at and got to kicking right away at 1:30. My session lasted until 10:15, only stopping for a quick dinner and the occasional 5-10 minute break for a drink. Roughly an 8 hour session. It was one of those sessions that you feel like you got much better at footbag from beggining to end.

I hit this the other day. I know the second dex is thin.. I will improve it. I'm home sick from school today from filming this. *Note to anyone who is planning on filming a footbag video in the snow - It is harder than you think. The snow gets matted down until it is as slippery as ice. I got a lot of bloopers from trying this though.

Happy day!

Nice Flurry. Don't worry about the thin dex. If you had a bit higher set, it would be clean. That's the easiest thing to fix.

Have you hit Enterrage yet? :)

Thanks Vojta. I don't know what Enterrage is, so probably not.

Enterrage is Terraging Legover / Double Pixie Legover
Should be up your alley. You getting good!

Terraging Symple Legover. Non-symple is much harder, and no one does it.

And for a good reason, I did it on a video and it looked awful. :D

Maybe practicing Flurry and Near High-Plains might be more beneficial than Enterrages and Entrées, as it might help you with Furious set in the future. (just guessing though)

Hello footblog, long time no see.

First of all: Thanks Asmus and Vojta, but no I have never hit Enterrrage.

My footblog hasn't seen much action, although I have been playing just as much, if not more. My game is coming along and it feels good. My strings still aren't where I'd like them to be, so I have been trying to work more bop and spins into them to make them less dense, and therefore longer (hopefully).

Last Wednesday I had a session with Nick P. and Ivan. It was so much fun. We played outside in the warm sun until it got dark, then we played inside. Playing outside after such a cold winter is an amazing feeling. If I were a poet, I would write a poem about it. But I'm not. Many jokes were told, those two are so funny. Shred was good, it was a more laid back session in my opinion. I had a few good strings. One I remember was a combination of multiple spins and I believe I stepped out of stepping far osis on both sides in that string. I also hit superfly for the first time on my first try in months. Ivan and Nick also did cool things. Ivan's favorite trick is atomic illusion by the way. Now you know.

Yay footbag!
