I am so sore today.

Here is a recent video from Copenhagen:

It's a tribute to this old Mads Hole video:

Played again today at the legendary thursday sessions.
It was legendary.

Played a tad better, in a couple of months when the sun hits I should be able to do okay.
I wanna get back at being at the I-am-better-than-ever stage.

The talk was about footbag-caves, cannibalism, snakebites, footbag robes etc.
Mads Hole maybe made an appearance.
Other than that Kim, Michael and Frederik was there.

I am really diggin on this old soul song at the moment:

Played today with Lise for 1½ hour in Nørrebrohallen.
For a nice change in the usual we both played decent.
I'm still definitely not at the level I have been on and even further from where I wanna be before summer but it felt good to be able to string.
I thought some kids had stolen one of my bags but it was found again.
I played around with this weird concept that me and Lise called "charging".
You set the bag for a duck and then while the bag is still travelling up you headbutt it back down.
I hit:
- Charging Clipper bsos
- Spinning Charging Clipper
- Charging Phoenix
Other stuff:
- Couple of runs around 20 contacts
- A good run with symple swirl bsos

There are so many cute girls in Copenhagen!

Here is a design me and some other guys are working on for school:

This track is good:

requesting a video of a charging trick. Please.

:P

edit: have you tried ducking/diving > charging? It'd be close and maybe not much of a "push" of the bag back down but it may be something to think about. I'm trying it tomorrow.

I don't think it would look very cool. But you are welcome to try it Champ.
I'm gonna try hit some charging tricks next time I get in front of a camera.

Maybe I should try to write some stuff Lise did:
Some Whirling Swirls on both sides
A beautiful ripstein
A run with some cool stepping shuffle, like blur bsos out of steps and ripwalk bsos with some sidewalk/stepping ss clipper thrown in.
A beautiful midrun Stepping Same Whirl
Footed Blurry Whirl > Pdx Blender midrun
She is good.

I really want my flip swirl to come back to me.
And I have to be more focused when I do my clipper stall on all tricks.
I need some better shred shorts.

Just had another session with Lise in Nørrebrohallen. Close to two hours.
Session started out like shit but had a good period when Lise popped out a couple of these:
Image
Hit this for example:
ripwalk > ripwalk > ducking clipper > ducking clipper > infinity > infinity
That's a pretty shitty highlight.
Not much variety going on.
But had alot of 20+ runs which was nice.

Had yet another session with Lise in Nørrebrohallen.
Nørrebrohallen means The Nørrebro Gym.
Nørrebro is the area in Copenhagen where I live. And definitely my favorite part.
Here is a little bit about it if you are interested:
Nørrebro is one of the 10 official districts of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is located northwest of the City Centre, beyond the location of the old Northern Gate (Nørreport), which was near the current Nørreport station until dismantled in 1856.
Nørrebro is also known for its poly-cultural society, mostly from Middle-Eastern background. The dynamic, multi-ethnic main street Nørrebrogade runs through the area, with a multitude of shops and restaurants. One of the main points of interest in the area is historic Assistens Cemetery (Assistens Kirkegård), final resting place of Søren Kierkegaard, Niels Bohr and H.C. Andersen.
Nørrebro is a multi-ethnic society, and is inhabited by people from all parts of the world. The largest minority groups of people living in Nørrebro are Arabs, Iranians, Pakistanis, and many more.
Nørrebro is also notorious for it's many riots and the on-going gang-war between multi-ethnic groups and motorcyclegangs battling over the hash marked.

Well, back to the session.
This session was more laidback than the previous, we talked alot more and I would say had more fun.
We both also felt this was our best session this far. Hopefully we can keep it up and be rockin' when summer hits.
On my way into the session I met a guy who I played with a couple of times in Svendborg back in 2004. It's a small world.
Some highlights from me:
New trick maybe: Pixie Quantum SS Butterfly
Pixie Paradon first try
DOD Swirl
Stepping Muted Swirl
Pixie Muted Swirl (using the other swirl)
And some semi long guiltless combos.
Goal for next session: Atleast one 30 contact run.

I have fallen in love with this album, it's so chill and awesome:

Session with Lise and Anne in Nørrebrohallen yesterday.
It was good to see Anne again since it had been a while.
I played like crap and blame it on a trip to Christiania earlier.
I ended the session kinda epic which was cool:
PS Rev Whirl b2b starting on both sides to handcatch and then a 28 contact run. Zhabam!
Lise played well. So did Anne I think.
Me and Lise attempt Stepping Ducking every session, in the beginning it was only for shit and giggles but now I am actually getting close.
Last session I cleared the duck and this session I footed the clipper out of it.
Didn't think I would ever hit Ripped Warrior but now it's getting close.
After the session me and Lise ate fries, I drank a beer and we watched funny clips from the wintherolympics.
And setup a plan to watch soccer and go partying on wednesday. Gonna be good times.
I'm thinking about buying a book about foosball. Geeky.
In other news I have two articles in the works for Fourkast.

Another session. Two days in a row. Just me and The Lish this time.
Lise is damn good at footbag.
It was much more quiet in the gym today which was nice.
I only had one main highlight and that was finally getting those 30 contacts.
The run even consisted of Dimwalk bsos, Fairy Butterfly after 10 or so contacts, Butterfly bsos and Ducking Clipper bsos.
I have a feeling we will play again tomorrow.
It's really cool to be playing a decent amount again and it is nice for the first time in my life playing regularly with someone better than me.
It's nice being able to work on stuff and get tips. And not feel bad for breaking the flow of the circle.

This one is dedicated to Guru. Hope he gets back to the real world.
Good video aswell.

Me and Lise keep on joking about this. Hope it doesn't offend anybody:

I don't get why I never get any comments and like 50 views per post.
Come on guys, I miss you, say hello.

Yo yo yo brothaaaaaaa!

Some random footbag stuff that went down lately:

I was asked to be in a commercial.
But when they found out I live in Copenhagen and not Svendborg anymore they couldn't use me anyway.
I liked how the e-mail said that they had read about my amazing skill and nice competition results (WHAT?!)

Yesterday I played hack at my school with a friend of mine.
Some random guys join and busts some 2s and a couple of 3s.
Nice surprise.
I told him about the club and stuff so hopefully he will come to a session.

Just met Kim "The Duke" Mortensen right outside my apartment.
He just got back from Stanford and playing with Steve and crew. Lucky him.
He wanted to play tomorrow. I hope Lise is ready aswell.

Hey Moose. Did you say one time that you hit terraging osis? Any tips for that trick? I want to hit some kind of terraging trick, but so far I haven't been able to find that last fraction of a second to complete another component.

Thanks for the Gang Starr link. I've been kicking to them a ton these last couple months, hope Guru's gonna be ok.

Leuch:
It was good talking to you again. Hope to see you sometime this summer.
Nice photos aswell.

Frankie-boy:
I don't remember if I hit Terraging Osis. I hit butterfly, legover and same side clipper out of it though.
When I hit those I was looking alot on the way Ales starts his triple atws. That's my only tip.

Session with Lise and Kim in Nørrebrohallen:

It was a really nice chill session. Lots of jokes being told and alot of talking about recent events in footbag.
We come up with the idea of making bicycle helmets that look like giant wigs, sombreros and stuff like that.
We also talked about dressing up for footbag routines.
I might wanna do that at some point.
My only highlight was:
Pixie Legover > Blurry Legover > Dimwalk rpt
Keep did alot of good looking flails and spinning guay > far blender.
Don't remember any highlights from Lise.
At the end of the session my toes broke out of the toe-area of my shoes when I got angry.
So now I have no shoes again. And no money.
*sigh*

After the session me and my roommate Phillip went over to Holes apartment.
Nis was there aswell.
We ate snacks, did stuff I can't write about here and rejudged old danish routines.
I came up with some quite revolutionary results. Hehe.
We made a deal with Hole about making him and his girlfriend some dinner soon. That would be fun.

We most certainly do. Also about last night.
Hanging out with pimps, pushers, hookers and abusers is crazy.
Sometimes I feel like the whole world needs counselling but first I need to find a way to get this big fat knife out of my back.
I'm still happy. Nothing gonna get me down atm.

Hope to play tomorrow.

Thursday Party with Kim, Rune and Frede.

Didn't think I would play but Kim texted me saying he had shoes I could borrow.
I brought way too big shorts for footbag and the shoes where also too big.
That made stepping and pixie almost impossible, limiting my trickselection alot.
But it was very fun.
Lots of joking around. Talking about silly trick names, my pink socks, etc.
We even hacked a bit at the end which I always like.
Highlights must be some good flip swirls and Plasma off foot twice.
Dracula candy on the sideline was also a big highlight.

Hey everybody.

Haven't played any footbag lately. I don't have shoes that fit (I think Nis has some for me) and Lise is injured. I'm not worried I will be playing again before I know.

I'm going to Berlin next week with my school. I want bring my gear but still hope to drink some bier(as they say in Germany) with the footstars. That would be sweet.

I'm watching all the old episodes of Californication again. Can't wait for season 4. Best series ever.

I think somebody should do something like this with footbag:

I wanna move to Portland at some point.

Been doing alot of writing lately.
Honza article is online over at Fourkast.
And I got two more coming up.
