Thanks for the nice comments.

6th thursday session in a row!
This time we weren't as many people as usually. Me, Kim, Paul Santner and Jan Birkel with Mads Hole and Frederik Mens peeking in.
Also the Witch Doctor (some weird dude who always lurks around the place where we play) finally got the courage to peek in.
I think he was rather surprised to see us all in short shorts drinking beer.

My highlights:
- Hit a trick for the first time, first try, and even called it out before I hit it - PS Whiz
- Stepping Ducking Clipper > Run
- Ducking Legover > Far Symp Rev Whirl
- Blur > Tripwalk bs
- Worked hard on Ripwalk * 4 - Didn't get it but as Kim said; the stepping work will pay out anyways

Some thoughts:
I need to fix that I scoop my toestall on mirage. I think the best way to school this is just to work Smear > Smear > Smear..
My flip step is a little bit lazy. I need to work on that.

Yesterday was the annual general meeting.
In attendance where Mads, Mads, Jan Birkel, Frederik Mens, Kim Mortensen, Rasmus Rendsvig, Verena, Paul, Spoon and me.

Things discussed and agreed upon:
- The new website needs to be updated more
- Two tournaments a year - Danish Open outside in the summer and more chill jam in the winther.
- We should work on getting back at Roskilde Festival
- Economy looks good but needs more work

Spoon is out of the board. Kim is in.
Nis continues as Chairman and I think I am the vice chairman.

I really need to kick next week.

Will first be autumn next year.

Another thursday. Another thursday session.

In (dissapointing) attendance was Kim Mortensen, Mads Neuhard and your girlfriend's favorite footblogger - me.
Everybody else was busy or away. Lise wants to start playing again - YAY!

I didn't play too well, I was super close to hitting alot of shuffling drills but kept on dropping on the last trick.
I liked Spinning Legover > Toe Spinning Clipper (DC STYLING!)

Afterwards me and Kim drank a beer and talked about the usual - work, girls and alcohol.
We saw some french dudes aggresively relaxing. Which is apparently a new hip thing to do.
Agrresively relaxing - To be so busy relaxing that you don't accept anything disrupting you.

Congrats to Chairman Nis aka The King for taking fourth at Russion Champs.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

NEWS:

Don't have anywhere to live. Staying at my friends place this month because he is in India. After that I am probably gonna sleep on Nis' couch for a while.
Think I am gonna try to buy a small apartment. Footbaggers will be super welcome, been a while since I had shredders crashing!

Ordered planetickets to French Open with Nis. Planning on playing every week until that (early february).

Thinking about what I am gonna do this summer. Hopefully I am gonna have money to do some serious footbag travelling.
Would like to visit Jeff sometime in a not so distant future.

Meeting went well. I got work to do!

Session went okay.
In attendance: Rasmus (left after meeting), Kim, Mads Neuhard, Paul Santner and Verena.
Mads Hole was at the bar nearby working. Me and Kim went there after the session.

Highlights:
- Ripwalk * 4
- Gyro Mirage > Tripwalk > Run with bs DLO
- A good attempt at Toga (Inspired by Erik Chan)
I should really work on my DLOs. They are not that hard for me, and I think they would help my mirages a lot.

By the way all the photos in the post before this one is from here:

Lots of good shots and old memories!

THURSDAY PARTY 2013

Recently it have come to my attention that FootbagDenmark and Copenhagen Footbag Club isn't controlled by the board but by a priesthood consisting of old powerful members and other shady characters.
It's all good though, I like these people.

Our thursday training time was from 19 - 23 but apparently some breakdancers got our time from 19-21. They are cool though, listen to good music and let's us play during their training time.
I saw some of them trying some footbag inspired dance moves today - win/win situation.

The session this time was only attended by Kim "The Duke" Mortensen and Mads Neuhard. They call us the Terrible Trio! We played for well over an hour, very intensely.
Mads Neuhard has a run with Symp Whirl bsos and hit Stepping SS Illusion > Pixie SS Illusion which I thought looked really cool.
Kim had a run with Janiwalker and Gyro Drifter midrun. He is good.
I don't think I had any real highlights but if I continue pushing myself like this, I might feel like a footbagger and not a party-hangaround-dude at French Open.
It will probably be a combination though. :footbag:

Mads Neuhard left before me and Kim. We got a couple of beers and just when we was about to leave Rasmus Rendsvig showed up.
So we had some more beers and Bankeråt. We discussed unwanted pregnancies, PC games and other important stuff.

Had a session with Nis "The King" Petersen and Jan Birkel on thursday.
We all played like shit but it was good times anyways.
Only highlights for me was some decent lenght but way too baily runs, legbeater bsos and quantum legover > plo [rpt]
On friday me and Nis left for French Open! :footbag: :!: 8)

Overall I feel like the tournament was a great succes. Lots of good shred, nice seeing and catching up with everybody and some crazy party moments.

Shred and Competition
- I judged routines, circle and womens routines and enjoyed it all alot.
- Nis got 7th in routine. Congrats bro!
- Me and Samu Ahola did the request combos. Lauri won!
Samu "Fast & Stupid" Ahola is an awesome dude.
- Aleksi's 268 points shred30 was badass.
Afterwards he just told the judges the score so they didn't have to do the math. Flawless.
- Jindra is really good at footbag and Jakob Wagner seems to step it up everytime I see him.

Other thoughts
- Charles Dupuy is still one of the nicest dudes in footbag. His girlfriend is super cool and his apartment so nice.
- Hanging out at Frankystyles place sunday night watching videos was the kinda moments you go to footbag tournaments for.
- Congratulations to Jakob Wagner. He just got a baby. He also got a cool website.
Wish I could remember more of our onion eating contest on saturday night bro!
- Jindra almost got arrested on sunday night for drinking on the street. Nis got most of it on video.
- Croc Madame is a sandwich with eggs, ham and cheese. Croc Monsieu is the same without eggs.
There is no sandwich called Croc O'dil but there should be.

All in all an awesome weekend. Thanks to the organizers and all the nice footbag people there.

Mathias Blau has been in Denmark for the past few days visiting his older brother. Today there was finally a session before he had to catch his plane.
I have been sick as a dog for the past few days so no energy for shred. But I feel like I gave some good tips, talked some good shit and enjoyed myself anyways.

Jan and Birkel was playing.
Image

Mathias is a rockstar.
Image
Some Mathias highlights:
Sailing Paradon
Every 5 you can think of bsos
Fission bsos in a super long run

Also Mathias has started to push out his lower jaw like Vasek. A sure sign that you are getting ridiculous at footbag.

Kim came by for the post-session beer. Good times.

Hopefully I will have the energy to play tomorrow!

It seems for some of the footbaggers in Copenhagen footbag has become a getaway from family life. I totally understand that, footbag has been my hideout from responsibilities many times. Just interesting to see how these responsibilities change.

Here is a photo I took of some art at Oslo Central Station during a business trip. (Yes, I actually went on a business trip - adultlifewhatthefuck!)

I know I merged my footblog to footbagfront but I thought it was time to give an update here.

This summer I randomly stumpled into Ryan Mulroney when I was trying to find an alleyway to pee in late at night.
That was kinda crazy. Good guy.

Over the past few months footbag has been picking up in Copenhagen. We got two new players (Troels & Andreas) and there have been between 4 and 8 people at every thursday session.

Yesterday we were Kim, Michael, Jasper, Mads Neuhard, Jan, Troels, Andreas and me.

My highlights:
Ripwalk * 4
DATW > Tripwalk bsos
Pogo Legover > Tripwalk bs
Symposium Quantum Legover > Frontside Tripwalk
Terrage > Tripwalk > Ducking Osis > Ripwalk

13 days till Danish Open and we are pretty much ready to go.
We got accomodation, beer, food, djs, sound, prizes, videoteam - you name it!
Organizing has been a lot of fun and a huge learning experience, big shout out to the team!
I already have new plans and ideas for the next big tournament in Denmark.

Here is the poster for Danish Open, designed by yours truly.

Props on all the work you've already put into the event. I hope it goes super well, and I look forward to videos of course. I'm hoping for an epic circle finals battle between Aleksi, Vaska, and Anz.
