Hey everybody

I've been taking a pretty long break off footbag at the moment and since Aus champs in January i havent really played at all. Its weird because i still watch the videos and i enjoy it a lot but strangely it doesnt really motivate me to actually go out and have a shred. But i think this is due to me developing interests in other things. Especially Tennis: i feel like my game there is improving a lot and i want to focus on it this year a lot more...

That said i will start training for footbag semi-regularly and i really hope sometime this year i can get to the level i was when i left.

Im also very impressed with the growth to the Melbourne scene here, thanks Janis and co.!

WOW Alex its good to see you post in here again.

I haven't played since national either and actually i've been getting into tennis too. I'm still not very good, i've been teaching Lilian to play so that I can have someone to play with regularly.
We should have a hit sometime and maybe even pull on some lavers.

I'll speak to you soon anyway.

Hey Al, sounds like me!

Except my ankles are retarded lol.

I'm heaps into gymnastics/tricking now so thats taken the focus of footbag. But I still carry one around with me and watch vids, just dont play so much.

Good to hear from you

Thanks people

Well ive been pretty busy with my final year of high school, but things are going pretty well at the moment. Had some tests and did pretty well so im happy with that. Went to some party last night. Free alcohol but it was pretty shit overall. My friend once again drank too much and vomitted again! weak minded fool...

So today i played footbag again, still very rusty but clearly better than the last session. Stepping sets felt weird and my timing was weird too but it improved later. Just got better again at the basics but weridly some tricks i struggled at were feeling easier today like pdx torque especially.

At the end i started a run with ripstein (flipside) and just dropped the other side. Hit some stuff like fusion first try and mullet etc but that isnt very good.
I'll look forward to getting back into my old form again.

Peace

alex

p.s i found bag to shred with! tina's bag i bought from worlds hehe

I've lost a lot of shit but after a few sessions this week i got a lot of them back and i rekon it will take like a few weeks before i play at a level where i was when i stoppped.

anyway today i had a good session with some guys in melb...i improved lots on atomic stuff especially.
