Pdx Blender > Far Legover > Legover > Blender > Far Legover > ss Blender > Far Legover > ss Blender (dropped)

And Barrage.

I got close to Double Pickup last night, I hit it in barefeet.

I have a work gig tonight, free alcohol. but I want to shred afterwards. I can't shred if I drink. I think we all know what I'm going to do, go footbag.

I remember before I met any other footbaggers, I did a lot of wraps. One day I realised I could twist my foot and sort of catch it behind my leg and then bring it through (osis). I'm like "Sweet! pickup ending in wrap!" I was totally convinced there was a dex there. Then when I was at aus champs someone goes "Hey! Nice form on that osis!" I'm like... uhh... os..? wha? I had been doing Osis, the correct way, the way I still do it today. How bizarre is that, I invented Osis but someone beat me to it

But seriously though, that was funny.

my blog = wtf? activity all of a sudden hehehe.

I played a little bit before my work gig, hit GYBAS and just fooled around with blenders a bit more. I really should try flipside, it'll be freakin' hard though. Actually what I should do is get back to skooling easier stuff. Anyway, my legs were then sore which was crap, I didn't play for that long, so that coupled with my mates trying to convince me to come out plus the free alcohol.... it was a good night. I'll shred some other time

Thanks for the list man, no time right now but I'll definately check those out :D Tiesto is pretty sick. I'm listening to Paul Van Dyk right now, "The Politics of Dancing" it's pretty good (if old) but I think there's newer ones out too. He doesn't like compilations because you can't work the crowd etc. So instead of just mixing he's reworked a lot of the songs a lot, it's cool.

Hello again!

I should mention... that niht I hit GYBAS, I also hit food processor a couple of minutes later. But didn't want to say until I hit it a few more times. Well, I've hit it about 10 times now, so rock on :D first 6er. Not that...err... adds matter of course...

Sunday 19th January
Length: 1 hour 15 minutes

Can't really remember anything from this session.

Monday 20th January
Length: 1 hour

Again can't remember anything.

Wednesday 22nd January
Length: 1 hour. (Total hours since 19/01/06: 19 hours 15 minutes)
Drilled: Illusions, Tiltless, Flipside toe/clipper/inside/general strength, Butterfly, Pdx Mirage, Ducking.

Wow, I was so disciplined yesterday. I actually knuckled down and did drills like clipper > far legover rpt. all muted on flipside, to build strenght. A couple of other ones to work on various problems my flipside has, saw improvement realy quickly which was good. Tiltless was super frustrating and just wouldn't work, I was dropping absolutely everything and yelling at the bag a lot. I'm not so thrilled with my game at the moment but I'm laying important ground work and it's still footbag :D

Also it was my one month date last sunday... was glad to see that almost every goal was acheived of stuff I actually worked on. I didn't actually get aronud to skooling half of it, but that's OK cause I acheived some of my 2 month goals as well ;) Should have worked more on Illusions. Will expand to include whirls, gyro and ducking this month.

Thursday 23rd

Length: 2 hours 15 minutes (Total hours since 19/01/06: 21 hours 30 mins)
Drilled: Flipside toe/inside, clipper, legover, pickup, illusion, drifter (+ toe, pdx)

Good session. Noticable improvement on clippers and illusions. Bit of tiltless shred but not much. Fooled around trying to hit hard tricks for about 45 mins... err, whoops :P Got 9 consec drifters and drifter > pdx drifter rpt without too much trouble, which is good because I haven't really done drifters in a week and a half or so. Was going to shred again this morning but slept in, majorly, ugh.

Like I have a choice :P Yeah atomsmasher b2b felt reeeeal nice.

Friday 24th Feb
Length: 45 mins (Total hours since 19/01/06: 22 hours 15 mins)

Half basics and half fooling around. Was planning to play an hour, but had to stop at 45 mins as I was sort of buggered already when I started :P As soon as I stopped it REALLY hit me and then I was stuffed, I actually showered sitting down I was so buggered. Then when I went to bed, life did me over and I was restless all night. I hate the world. The end.

Dunno... must be something bigger than that I can hit, although I can't think of it right now. But I thought of hitting it, and got it in like 5 minutes. So I was pretty happy. My fairy sets aren't too bad when I really concentrate hehehe.

I've decided to school atomic sets, screw pixie and fairy hehehe. My atomics just seem to work better, and I can actually hit atomic both sides, so I'll get back to pixie and fairy.

Also I screwed up back there, it was 1hour 50 mins not 2. But I plan on shredding tonight for at least an hour, so it all evens out in the end.

February 27th
Length:
1 hour 15 minutes (Total since 19/01/06: 25 hours 20 minutes)
Drilled: Drills are for sissies. Yeah I just shredded tonight.

Hit flip vertigo, due to Alex's challange. Also hit flip atomic drifter :D:D real happy... and flip blurry drifter for nic. Only hadn't hit this because I hadn't tried :P Also hit tombstone both sides. I've hit it before, but only one side... can't remember which. One is my strong drifter the other my strong stepping so it could've been either side.

Now I should go to bed, because it's quater to midnight and I have to work at 6am. Damn you footbag!!!

February 27th
Length:
1 hour (Total since 19/01/06: 27 hours 30 minutes)
Drilled: Clippers, Osis, atomic, tiltless.

tap > legover rpt 6 contacts.

Legbreaker bs

Atomic drifter bs a few times.

atomsmasher b2b a couple of times.

A lot of lazy mindless tiltless strings tonight. Which was freaking awesome. It feels good that I can sort of 'relax' stringing tiltless, not thinking about it too much, and still get 10-15 contacts. Real good feeling. Relaxed footbag, I like it. I'm getting out of my disciplined habit... I need to keep these care free sessions to a minimum! lol.

Was supposed to take today off to let my body repair after a few hard days work (lots of footbag + lots of bike riding) but I just couldn't resist! Really fun session. So addicted to footbag right now.

:!: Tomorrow is my birthday, yay for me! :!:

Well, today I suppose, considering it's almost 2am. Crap I have to wake up in four and a half hours :( I'm getting new chuck taylors and a peng bag (which I already have) and I don't know what else. I also bought a sharpie yesterday, I'm gonna make my lavers shit hot. I have some ideas already, it's going to be awesome.

Adios, cowboy.

(If anyone cares to buy the whole Cowboy Bebop sound track series for me for my birthday I would love them forever and maybe even say thankyou.)
