Hey Zeb, that's awesome that you have already gotten to shred with such great players! Keep working on the basics until you've got them dialed; they'll build a strong foundation that will only help you in the future! :)

today was a great day!

Post by Zeb Jackson » 16 Feb 2006 20:35

today me and kyle hewitt had a GREAT shred sesion even though it only lasted for about 45 minutes... other than that i hit the longest string i have ever hit!

SS Clipper>Mirage>Spinning Clipper (except i landed it on my toe instead of clipper)

i have almost got my strong side clipper dialed and i am about as good with me flip side clipper as i was a couple of weeks ago... and i can actually land butterflyes and mirages on my strong side half decently now
even though im still having trouble with them

so yeah thats my increases in a nut shell what im set on doing now is getting my other side clippers, mirages, and butterflys dialed so that i can move on and learn some new tricks!

P.S. My Bags
I have also starte making 6 panel bags that are fairly decent i think i am going to start trying to sell them soon, but first i want a few people to try them so message and i will send a few to some people to see if they like them!

10 blue bags
5-red/blue
5-purple/blue
5-purple/red
and 5 of whatever i feel like making after making 45 other bags =)

ok!

i have been drilling ALOT lately and i did the BEST string ever last night!

SS clipper> SS butterfly> mirage > clipper spinning toe

it was awesome and severerly luck, i havent been able to do it again yet but it was sweet scince the last week i have upped my clippers on my good an bad sides almost 10 fold!
last week i could barely clipper consistently and now i can do 9 or so clippers in a row, i think my progress is going fairly ok. i also started learning infinity, but my flipside butterfly needs MAJOR work. I also need to work on flipside mirage as well as strongside mirage, but i think that i am doing so much better now that i have started to butterly

Edit: me and kyle hewitt have started to learn whirls, but he had jim help him when he went to boise last weekend, and i have had to figure them out all by myself, its okay though there coming along decently =)

note: i also think soon that i will be donating one of my and kyles bags (i dont know what to call them, if you have an idea message me), to some of the novice competitions on modified so yeah if you win you might get one =)[/b]

Edit: today at school me and kyle had a mini shred...it was pretty cool ;)

:p yeah, im working on that
Your next task: Go to the bathroom.
Wash your face.
Put your shoulders hunched upwards.
Look really, really slowly upwards towards the mirror like in the movies
And slap yourself in the face.
With your game face on.
And go shred with jim.
It'll work, trust me.

Work on your osises and/or spinning clippers for a good idea on how to seal torque. I can't do spinning clippers because I wear glasses. :? But you can! Shred hard!
