Sick last combo.

And to clarify, I'm not just staying for the summer. Prolly more like forever-ish.

Well, ideally, I wanna move to Ajax, which is between, like.. Scarborough and Oshawa...ish? Or maybe Scarborough even, since it's closer to downtown. Ajax is where my lady and all of her friends live.

Alright cool.

We should try and set up another meet soon. I can play saturdays but I have to book it off in at least a week or two in advance, I can make it out to Toronto for Tuesday nights and I have my reading week from the 22nd to the 29th.

let me know if this works out for anyone.

Imma post some highlights here. Why? Cause I can. And I don't want to study for law class (its terribly dry). Anyway, I've been shredding 3 days a week since the start of the year... its been grand:

Clip set near flail > ss toe osis rpt (I think that combo looks rad, specially if I don't plant on the osis)

Drifter b2b (Hit this a bunch, my record is 4)

40 butterflys in a row... finally.

Ducking Osis

And, just screwin' around, working to adding more drifters, osii, ducking clips, flails and stuff to my game.[/code]

Sweet stuff Alex. Hope you make it back to T.O before im gone for planting again.

Updates from the last few sessions...tried to film a bit, but it seems my camera is only good enough to film in natural light. When I tried to get some runs on tape in florescent light, they all came out blurry. :( Expect epic video once its warm enough to film outside.

Highlights!

Flip Merlin
...which led to....
Blurry Voodoo!!!!

Fog>Pheonix>Blurry Drifter>Blurriest>Drop on Ps Whirl

Ps Whirl>Blurriest Goodside/Ps Whirl>Ripwalk Flip

Soooo close to merlin b2b....footed/soon :)

Spinning Whirl>Blurrier

22 Genuine 8O

Blurriest>Blurrier>Blurriest>Run>Blurry Whirl>Stepping Whirl>Blurry Whirl

I guess shredding 3-4 times a week does pay off. :D

xD Yesss! That was a sweet day, shred was basic, but I was putting on a show. We were making 20 bucks an hour each during that session. Wild crowds, it was rad.

Adam - are you going planting in BC this summer? Cause if your down, you should come to Vancouver on your way home and shred it up hurr. Bonus, if the timing works, we can all head down to Worlds and the US open.

Justin - I'm heading to Worlds, but I'm not sure if I'm getting a hotel room or just winging it on ppl's couches or whatnot.

Alight, personally I would rather to just crash on peoples couches but I don't know if I will be able to due to not knowing people and right now flights are only 240 to Vancouver so that might be a good possibility.

lately my knees have got a lot better so i have been able to play for about an hour everyday this week with out it hurting so I think I am almost ready to start pushing my self again, maybe in a week or two. My strings are getting longer as well, I am hoping for 20 tiltless this week.

So sweet alex. I wish I was there.

Sessioned today at the good old Bahen Center. Its good to go on weekends. :) It was much more satisfying than my last couple sessions, as the floor isnt as slippery as it is at me Ryerson spot. My consistency was waaaay up from other times I've played recently. Other than lots of long-ish runs, my fav link was Blurriest>Blurry Whirl>Ps Whirl. Also Nailed a few interesting spinning combos, but nothing very advanced. Also managed to hit flip Flurry again, but its still really flukey, as are all my flip barraging related moves.

I may be going to Worlds this year though, which would be awesome...Ill be super rusty from treeplanting, so I'm not sure whether I'll be able to represent my skill level very well, but whatever. I'm there for the event. I'll keep in touch with you while I'm planting alex, and we can may be set something up.

Also Manna will be in toronto in a week or two, so if anyone wants to come shred with us, let me know. :)

Barfly>Whirl>Rpt x 2>Drifter>Whirl>Rpt>Pdx Whirl>Pdx Whirl>Ripwalk

Spinning clipper, Spinning butter and Merkon all Bs in one string ending in a Spinning whirl. ( I CAN SPIN FINALLY!!!! :D )

Once it gets warm enough to shred outside I'll throw together a video. My camera doesn't film very well in florescent light. (every dex looks blurry)

Hey Erik....is the GTA move still in the works? When would you be moving here if it does happen?

Note: Manna, if you read this, its supposed to be 9 degrees on monday the 8th!!!! I'll be playing/filming for SURE on that day. Hopefully you can make it out.

Yeah I'm still moving there. Probably... mid-to-late July? I may have a car too, so getting around may be easier for me (as I'll be an hour out of the city).
