Dude, props on the both sidedness!

How long have you been playing? For the ducking clipper trick, which way are you ducking under the bag? And are you starting with the same clipper as you end on? That stuff all matters in the name of it... Although I don't understand and won't be able to help with the name. I'm pretty sure the others are ducking butterfly and stepping (far?) legover.

As for tricks you should try. Ever do any pixie set moves?

Edit: at closer inspection I see that you have hit park and Dimwalk. I sugestion trying some of the toe to toe pixie moves. Basically do a pixie set and then insert a two add move on the way down.

Alright, today I hit some ripwalks, and some of those ducking moves just for reference.
Here's the vid's.

Ripwalk Video Here.. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 2184772856
Clipper>Duck>Clipper here, http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 3712087773
Clipper>duck>butterfly here, http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 9542675485

I literally just went outside and decided "I'll hit these today"..And had a 5 minute video camera shred. I kinda want my shins to live a little.

I've been playing since February, however, for the first month it was with Saucony shoes (theres literally a hole where the clipper stall should land) and then at the end of March I got some Leather Lavers...Probably played for 20 minutes at lunch kicking with my friends every day. I really didn't start "shredding" for the reason to improve, until June. At this time I could go toe to toe..Then I decided I should mod the lavers, and go for it. So, the majority of the tricks have been learnt since then.

I don't honestly know how, but it seems like right now I can say "I want to hit this move, that I've never tried before" and bam, within a session I am hitting it...It feels so empowering.

-Found a video I uploaded from a week or two ago..Osis

Yup it's Ducking clipper and ducking butterfly.

Props on the progress since June. That's pretty good. I've been playing for over three years and you're ahead of me in some respects.

I second the strings thought!

Today, I have more than 3 hours to shred - DURING school! And every thursday it is normal to have 1.5 hours, so, perhaps I can get some videos there.
As for strings, sure. I'll see if I can get some. Only trouble being that it takes forever to upload :)

Thanks for the nice comments, and help with the names. It really means alot.

______________________________

Now that my day is done for footbag, I have almost nothing to report.
I dexcersized for a bit, because I was beat from Gym class (woot for running an hour and a half). Then when home, I practised the pixie sets, and they've improved (seeing as they were virtually non-existant yesterday ;) ). I hit one dimwalk, and my left pixie is just to inconsistent to even bother with the butterfly part. Either way, I imagine after the weekend I should have a video up showing both dimwalks. While I'm at it, if my pixie is good enough I'll go for a parkwalk too. Hell, I'll just make a video of -> Ripwalk, Parkwalk, Dimwalk, and Sidewalk.

Heres an ATW video. Pretty sloppy, I never noticed how bad they were before... http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 9000851363

Alright, I really need some insoles. Today was my worst aching shins after a session ever. At the end of it, I couldn't even string together more than two 2 add tricks. Hopefully this weekend I'll head to a Footlocker and get some insoles, as well, it can't hurt to practise my pixie set can it?

Oh...And another thing..I hit DATW's..BOTH directions, with right foot. Now I just need to hit it with my left... Hopefully I'll get some video this weekend.

Well, I'm getting close to another whole bunch of tricks, so in a week or two expect a whole bunch of both sided videos :) I'll take a break from posting videos until then, and then I've got to start thinking about the Online Comp's...

To all of my adoring fans I don't have, you should know that I just hit my favourite trick, ever, today, 3 times one side.. I'm not gonna post a vid until it's both sides, and I can actually do it clean.

Woot :!: :!:

Jay,

I love the idea of having videos of all the moves, and both sides too.
I can't wait for the next new additions... and more specifically, for your return to Toronto!

Alrighty, well, this week was rather un-eventful...I was drilling whirls, and BAM...My knee said "Jesus Christ, what the heck did you just do to me?!??"...So well, I've been resting my wee legs for the last few days.

Either way, I stitched a bag, and it actually is functional. I'm gonna beat the crap out of it shredding *toe scrapes and all* to see how durable it is...Either way, now I am going to make videos of all the moves I don't have yet. Watch out Google Video!

Thanks Lackey, good to hear someone thinks me wasting 40 minutes an upload is worth my time!

Woot! That's what my footbags look like...My newest one, is of course the best one, I can't wait until I finish my next bag so it'll be even better!

Videos uploading today are of Legovers, Mirages (better video..), Butterflies/Infinities, and a clipper video.

It's good to video tape yourself, because like Moir said in his 21 ways to get better thread, you can see things you do horribly wrong and should work on...(Aka, my butterflies are massive, I jump like a leemer.)
Can't wait to get some strings and upload them on here as well! Just gotta wait for my legs to be in better shape...

Oh and thanks Holly for that Shin excersize, can't wait to do it for a while and see results!

strings would be awesome... upload time is definately worth it because you could enter some things into the online comps. i dont think having a long video would be wasting time... itll take as long as it took to upload the other videos (at once) you have up there.

i saw your knees and shins are hurting. one of the tricks to helping out your shins is sit in a chair and have your knees bent at 90degree angles with your feet flat on the floor... then tap your toes by pulling them up and tapping them down all the way... but keep your heels on the floor. this stretches the muscles in your shins and calfs.

hope that helps and hope you get well soon... cause i wanna see some strings on vid.

Jordens new video inspired me to go all out today. So, I went with my Host Father to his handball game, and got to play for 3 HOURs in a gym. I haven't played in a warm environment for SO long. Either way, seeing as it was a handball game, I didn't really feel like taking the camera out to much, so I only got a video of me hitting a PLO and the parkwalks... I also hit three of my other challenges, which I am very satisfied with. To bad there is no video to prove it :x I am also disappointed that I didn't get a cleaner set of parkwalks on the video, they're crap. But, I'll get a better video next time.

Videos uploading now..

Well, got some Spencos today! It was really amusing, I tried on two pairs (make sure I bought the right stuff) and both times I tested the insoles out by trying some tricks that had a big impact (symposium..)

The clerk was pretty shocked to say the least, and some other people in the store just stopped and started watching. Felt pretty neat!

Sunday I can for sure shred in a Gym, however tomorrow I'll just have to battle the bitter cold...

Challenges here I come!

I dedicate yesterday to the fine people that designed the spenco insoles. I have never had such a pleasant shred. They are thinner at the toe area, so your toe box creates a much bigger pocket than before. This took a while to get used to, but eventually it was the same if not better. Absolute, 100% no shin pain, probably due to Spenco's and the excersize Holly gave me. I really couldn't string anything together for the first 30 minutes or so, so I gave up and decided to work on some of those challenges... Either way, I have my Sick One for the Modified Competitions I do believe :D :D
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 9645196152

I tried some paradox whirls, and toe whirls, I have never really practised them. I hit one or two. I just don't really like whirls that much at the moment, makes my knee say bad things to me, however, since everyone does them there must be something good about them ;) Now I guess I go on to Brinards "pixie whirls/stepping whirls"...I have a feeling that wont go so well..

That is my first Five on camera! Funny thing was, it was also my first attempt at the trick!? That is why I made the face I did...

My first five was a pheonix, but that was a long time ago, when I did not use toe walls, and I just sorta almost side-pendulum actioned it over my head, and then got the butterfly... So, that is my first real 5 you could say.

Very happy about it, I hit it two more times today, one was left pixie. I also drilled Diving sets, and I hit a few diving mirages (one of my challenges from Liam), diving butterflies, and I also hit quite a few blurry osis'. All both sides. All the divings were from a clipper, because toe setting divings just seem to much like normal ducks,..I also hit a few of the double legovers brinard challenged me with, but the stepping is so much of a slur that I deleted all of my video attempts. I want to make them look at least decently clean first.

Updates for Challenges..

Liam
I'm basically done yours, just need a good video of each.

Brinard
Magellan is annoying, I can't get my foot moving quickly enough...
Whirls, well, just need to straight out practice toe whirls, and then I'll try the stepping and pixie...
I've got the smear consistent with my right pixie, but left it is still shaky. It's been hit though.
Hoe..Need some clarification, I have no clue what a Hoe is..Butterfly Rake, well, not descriptive enough...
Drifters....These are becoming my arch nemesis'...I honestly am thinking I'll hit a nemesis before these...Gah...I just can't for the love of god get the motion even right.. I've tried everything I can think of...

Spencos Rock....I can't wait to learn more tricks, and possibly another 5 or two.. I am now just thinking what I'm gonna do for my sick three...I'm thinking I'll go for 12 adds..

On another note, after reading some blogs, is it mandatory that ALL POLISH PLAYERS are just amazing? I mean christ, it seems every one of 'em has been playing for about a year, and are simply amazing.
