Wait, what? You just turned on Tank Mode, sir Bear.

Props. Truly.

It has been too long since I've seen the Manor. Maybe sometime in the new year.

Oh Beauford.

stanford! stanford!

We have a new member, a big boy, he is 6'2 and heavy in a good way (pure muslce), has been hitting good form toe stalls and hitting mirages and working hard on clipper form. I gave him a pair of 11.5 quantums and a bag, and he has been at shred every tuesday!!! if only that one guy eric conner would come back, he had immaculate natural form for clippers and was learning drifters soo well. natural form for clippers is just ridddick, and he of course sported lavers.

Oh well, they come and go. Stanford crew has intrigued 6 players over the last year, and i lost a pair of lavers+bag to one :(
1. eric conner: great natural form, lack of passion. he came all the time for while, i wonder what happened.
2. stanford soccer kid: super athletic (gave an extra pair of shoes/bag to him) disappeared after a couple weeks.
3. Weird kid with lavers: he had horrible style and stalls, but seemed interested and had lavers!!! but alas he disappeared.
4. conner: he is the man, and will rep stanford hard in the future. Trust me, this kid has got the perfect combo of talent/dedication to do it. BSOSery.
5. Suukie: I don't know how to spell his name at all, but conner's friend who has a little pidgeon toe but seems to be quite interested. He was here for quite a few sessions but in japan or something fro this semester. hope he comes back.
6. New buff guy, sucks at insides and clippers, but who doesn't when they start? he has dedication and is really amazed at what we do.

Every club should aim for 3 newbs a year at least.

I hope can do it justice.
I may have finally figured out my arrangements for NYJ!!!
Staying with Jon when I arrive on the 16th,
and just got word from holly that there is an extra space in her room,
soo trying to snag that up. I have 9 bags done soo far, hoping to hit the 20 mark by the 17th.
i guess i better go make that x-mas calendar vid :/

fun session yesterday after not playing for a week,
hit dsc x2 a few times and had a believable effort at a triple spin.
other than that, few big tricks from me, but a few styley 40-50 contact strings.
Mudd was tearing it up in street shoes and different sized lavers.
Alex had some good shizzle, as well as steve ducking bsos.
chase was there with a lot of rust, hopefully he can play thur and next tues.
serious filming the next few days for shred global comp, I am really close to SIIICK combo.

Hey world of footbag,
I have decided in a drunk state, that stanford should report frequently, despite dave lack of desire to be filmed... i will try to film a lot more...
and, we are going to come out with the stanford shred manual,
input from Steve G. and David C., and whoever else wants to contribute, written by alex and brian, we are extremely serious about this...
we will take from the vasek manual, trick tips everywhere, what not to do by jorden moir, and our unique stance on shred.

I fall asleep every night watching my footbag playlist on random, and have developed quite the insight (even to tricks I can't or don't want to do) between everyone at stanford, this manual will be the shit.

There are things soo many subjects to cover, but we will try to do so in a very compact manner. If anyone has really important shred observations to make we will likely produce a rough draft.... ( steve and dave don't have time to describe what we do in writing, but alex and I WILL DO OUR BEST to describe what they talk about, esp. with dave)

Who would be down for a stanford footbag manual???? freee/donation based???

if someone could get back to me regarding where you guys kick and whatnot, a response on this thread or a PM would be GREATLY appreciated :o

i hate to update this blog on the basis of bad news.
but yesterday i was the worst footbag injury i have ever seen.
and it was mr. clavens ankle, on a monster trick, he kicked the support leg right out from his already cranked inside catch and bam.
it was instantly swelling, and it made me a little worried to play the rest of day!
let's all wish him a fast recovery :)

on other notes, green cup is coming up and stanford is pumped.
