Boston Shred Crew, manly baby steps

Post by slapdash21 » 05 Jun 2007 12:55

Decided to finally start an actual Boston Footblog. Obviously everyone is welcome to post, especially those in the crew.

i just got a new job locksmithing. i'll be making good money, with health benefits, paid vacations, and a truck of my own that i can drive nights and weekends as well. the place is 15 minutes away from my house, tops, and i dont even have to get on the highway. sweet.

recently, including today, i hit:

fog>legbeater
blaze>dimwalk
"blurry" rev whirl BSOS
other stuff

i'll update first post later with more

siiiick session with Kevin A. and Chris downtown today. they are both pretty stoked on footbag right now, even though kevin is having surgery soon that will prevent him from playing for 4 weeks, so he's getting his kicks in this week.
i hit:
food>spender (my first beast link)
a run with food, spender, and pogo pdx whirl
sailing butter
about whirlX30
toe kick set backspinning crossbody toe kick
blaze>dimwalk again
spinning flying butterfly kick>butterfly
some lady filmed and interviewed me about the genocide in Darfur. it may be on some website she mentioned, but i forgot what it was. i'll post the link if i find it.
i also saw this van:

Image

while walking to a session. dude took that with his camera phone and emailed it to me.
hit me up with any footbaggin suggestions anyone anytime. make em easy tho. haha.

oh also kevin hit...atwX like 3 and footed pickup his first try ever. also footed mirage a bunch, its his goal to hit that before surgery, should be no problem. he also hit stuff like toe>outside>sole a bunch, and landed his first clippers ever today. sick.

well anyway, will update later.

haha thanks dude guy.

hopefully footbag with kevin and maybe chris downtown today. i should call jason too. if no one wants to play i'll probably play lightly at the homestead and finally finish watching a scanner darkly. i started it like 3 days ago...

i listened to the sox game last night...it ended at like 1:40 am (cuz its pretty much west coast-they were playing the D Backs) they won. good game. i was especially encouraged by JD Drews offensive improvements and Varitek's 2 run homer was also a good sign.

footbag updates later today. i think i can hit surge>reactor. its a goal.

oh yeah and also i footed pdx blender>little apple about 4 times in a row last time i played, but i was in longish shorts so today it will be a cakewalk (ha, that should SO be a move name). little apple is a 4, right? i wish i could do symp torques... :(
also hit desien a few days ago. sailing is pretty easy.

wow. i had a real break out session. highlights:

surge>reactor
a run with ducking clip bsos and ducking butter bsos all midstring
food processor>spinning blender>osis>handcatch (2nd time)
fucking marius :!: :!:
ripped warrior a few times, twice on one side with kicks between
spikehammer :!:
5 contacts of rubberman 1st try
desien (sailing butter) off a very short ledge
a guiltless string off one small curb across a like 12 foot path and onto the other curb
pdx blender>little apple easily.

another pretty good session, this one was solo. i was supposed to play with francisco from rhode island/northeastern but he wound up not coming into town. not too many great highlights, i was going for sick 1's and sick 3's for the online comps. i hit what i guess i will use as my sick 1. its pretty sick. a new 6. at any rate.

stepping ducking clipper (again)
sailing ss butter
that new 6 for the comps
whirling far pickup (first time)>dimwalk>run
yeah some other stuff.

it sucks, i havent been going to school OR working for days and im accomplishing less around the house than i usually do, which isnt much :? i absolutely NEED to do laundry, clean my room, stitch a footbag, bike to blockbuster, and talk to 2 people (one a future boss, one an ex-gf :? :x ) im kind of irritable today mostly on account of my own laziness. well on a completely unrelated note:

beef is when you need two gats to go to sleep
beef is when your mom aint safe on the streets
beef is when you roll no less than 30 deep.
beef is when i see you, guranteed to be an ICU

I actually like that one a lot more than the bo sox ones. In fact, if you really wanna look stylish, you should get yourself a New York Yankees hat.

ah, thanks matt. i'll fix it :P

and doug, i dont mean to be rude, but FUCK YOU.
:P

i think i'll take a picture of all my fitteds today and post it. i have 5...im semi missing one, but i know its in my room somewheres.

food>marius wont actually be as easy as i figured. ha. well i tried it about 8 times yesterday and one spot on my left calf (the one that is planted while im doing the blender>zooming motion) started to hurt like it was being strained, so i took a break from it. i'll make it a goal to hit it before the end of the month.

@ henry

i feel like fucking marius is actually hittable. not by me obviously...i say if jorden can hit spinning ducking ps torque fairy ducking spinning torque should be a breeze

hopefully have highlights to post later. i need to hit my sick 3 for this month.

keep posting!
