haha he looks like he's wearing a little hat. thanks for the idea henry, but im putting it in the long term file.
my fitteds, minus one that im having trouble finding...
the green one is the oldest. the black "Beantown" one is supposed to be like a throwback to Eazy-E's compton hat. i had them do it on a plain black fitted.

There is an event tomorrow night called "Modern Graffiti: A Thirty-Year Look at Street Styles and Art." Apparently, some Boston-based graffiti artists are going to be there. You should go. I'd like to interview about the topic! I'm doing a story for the Northeastern News on the event and hopefully I will be able to connect with one of said panelists in order to see them in action and write first-hand.

Unfortunately, I have work tomorrow, but heres the kid that got me into graffiti
http://northeastern.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1823685
He lives in mass so theres a good chance you can get him to go.
PS
A good story for next year would be about footbag. It is still more or less an underground sport that is just starting to come to the surface.
Theres going to be two good footbaggers at school this fall. A freshman, Doug Tank, who won the first intermediate tournament and theres me. In August I am competing in worlds, its the first year its in the US so that should be fun.

wow! footbag? i'd like to know more. thank you man. i want to write about footbag. wanna chill sometime and talk about making that into a story. I want to know the culture! thanks so much! my friend wrote a SWEET story about PARKOUR:
http://media.www.nu-news.com/media/stor ... 0782.shtml
I'd like to write the footbag story in a similar style. So, let's keep in touch. I'd like to report on the August tournament as well. Thanks for connecting me to PJ
And he wrote that before parkour became famous and was in the New Yorker. That got me so psyched.
Please contact me and let's work together to create something cool for NU to read in our silly paper.
^^^^the parktour article took up 3 pages in the newspaper and they had a few color photos and a couple black and white ones
I digress....
Doug, if you keep that attitude I'll forget to tell you when the interview is...

Eek, didn't know the word "yankee" would cause such an uproar. Sorry if you guys were sincerely offended, I'll make sure to keep the baseball topic to a minimum when we first meet.
Btw, sweet looking bag Pete, I didn't know you were into stitching.
As for that interview Fraun, it's probably best not to interview me anyway cuz I'm really not all that good, but I think its really cool if you do, great exposure to footbag.
Once again, sorry to cause a ruckus.
Peace

LOL
we're just screwing with you man
and hey you think that reporter is gonna know if you do a guiltless string or a tiltless?
NO
Honestly I'm not that good either
I only just started hitting osis and flipside butterflies lol...I'm gonna make a video of some stuff pretty soon. When I competed at Cornell i didn't even make it past the first round of circle comp, never mind winning anything.
Either way coverage is coverage and the more people we got on the scene the better
