might have to have a hysterectomy. getting a second opinion.
dislocated my right hip two nights ago. i was just walking. i layed on the floor for a good 30 minutes crying before i could get up the energy to crawl to the computer and google how to pop it back into place. google said go to the hospital... called the parents back in tennessee and they said the same.... called everyone i know in chicago to get a ride to the hospital. doctor set it back in but now i have a SEVERELY pulled groin muscle. doc gave me meds... but says i have to stay off it for 6-8 weeks (crutches) and then ill start physical therapy... he estimated it being fully healed in 6 months omahguh.
this has been the worst year ever.
so to make this post footbag related... im gonna talk about new years jam. im in contact with scott and tom and other cic guys... looks like im going to be doing some design work / website / social media stuff maybe. im brainstorming on my own right now, gonna run the ideas by cic, then run that by scott. really excited to be involved in the planning for this event, even though i will be injured.

Sorry for such a short post earlier, haha! I'm on cloud nine and was just too friggin excited to elaborate.
Last Monday I went to the doctor for a biopsy. The doctor told me I was either going to have to go to a cancer specialist to have surgery if the results were serious, or I'd have surgery from him again if it wasn't serious.
Results came back, and everything is fine and I'm in remission!
Thank you everyone for the support, even those of you who didn't want to listen. I really do appreciate everything the footbag community has done for me. I've made a lot of really good and true friends who have stuck through this with me and I couldn't be more thankful.
It's getting gold outside and I'm feeling a bit antsy. I want to do some fundamentals but I think I will wait a few more weeks till I become physically active again. My hip doesn't hurt anymore, but pops a little bit. Healing faster than I had expected.
Been looking at the fabrics lately and thinking about patterns/colors. Do people buy footbags anymore, or does everyone stitch now? Haha.
Really looking forward to NYJ.
This happiness took a long time to come.

Wow it's been a long time since I posted in here... Guess I have some catching up for you guys.
NYJ was super awesome. Loved having the Canadians, Zach J, Waylon and everyone else around. I miss it actually. Played a little bit at the jam and my hip was feeling pretty good.
I was playing again and rebuilding my basic tricks until 2 weeks ago... I had a bad accident and almost died:
I was staying the night at my new boyfriend's house and didn't really know the house that well. I got up to get some water and on the way back from the kitchen, there are 2 hallways... one to the bedrooms and one to the basement. Well, I took the wrong one and ended up falling down the flight of stairs and hitting the pavement below head first. When I got to the hospital, I found out that I had fractured my skull all the way from the top to below/behind my ear, fractured my cheek bone, and was having a lot of bleeding inside of my skull. They did an emergency surgery to get rid of the blood clots in my brain: drilled into my skull, drained it, then put a titanium plate over the hole/fracture. That's right, I have a plate in my skull now.
Since then, I've had constant migraines. I'm off work for another week and a half, and today is one of the first days that I've been able to look at a screen without getting a headache.
Thanks all you footbaggers that have been keeping me in your thoughts. I've seen a lot of comments and messages from you guys on my facebook/phone and I really appreciate the love.
Wanted to let you guys know, I will be making bags again this week. The money made from selling them is going towards medical bills, so if you've been waiting forever for my footbags (it's been a year since I've made them to sell) then now's the time to remind me that you want em.

OMG.
You have lived through more horrible events than anyone I know.
You certainly deserve a string of fucking lucky happenstances.
I hope things turn out for the best. I'll keep you in my thoughts.
