7. Hoping to eclipse that within the next few months.

The other day I hit Superfly for the first time. Today I hit Symposium Torque both sides. I don't think I've ever even attempted that one before. It feels great to be able to hit new & difficult tricks still at age 31. This sport is so much fun when you are actually healthy.

Improvements

Nice. Control, seal, and facial hair are all better in 2017. Nice work on the trifecta!

No doubt! I bought that new camera and wanted to put something out real quick just to see how it came out. Expect more to come soon, hopefully!

Hit my first 8-ADD trick today. And guess what... I'm not going to say what it was.

I'm a bit disappointed. I hit a cool little 6>6 link on video today. Went to edit the film & realized I had recorded it in a poor quality setting. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so I'm going to have to try it again tomorrow.

Can't wait for the weather to be warm & dry. Longing for some outdoor shred.

Edit - I was also attempting another 8ADD trick today. It's within reach, but I don't know how much time I really want to spend on trying it.

I did that once too. Was filming with my phone for the first time, but didn't realize that the self-facing camera recorded at much, much lower quality :( Looking forward to seeing the combo though!

Got it the very next day, just like I was hoping.

I went to the Facebook footbag group to seek advice as to what to use in regards for a good shred mat. Like usual, I totally ignored everybody and ended taking a chance with ordering an anti-fatigue mat through one of my work vendors. I bought this to save my shoes & my body from the concrete I usually play on (which was pretty much my only option).

Each piece is 3'x3', giving me a 36 square foot space. I can always add to it if I want to spend the extra money (this plus the beveled edge pieces ended us costing me $320 USD).

This thing works great. The surface is grippy. It's very heavy. Each piece weighs about 25 pounds. Very happy I purchased it. The only issue I have with it is this:

It has a tile pattern & each spot where the lines between the tiles intersect is not supported so it does dip a little bit when that particular spot is stepped on. I think I'm going to try to fill it up with silicone or something and see how that works.

Those dips seem like an amateur oversight. Wow.
Looks super fancy otherwise!

Took 8 months, but got 8 fearless today. Wanted to go for 10 for the video I'm working on, but I'm pretty happy with this.
