Hey, at least the Mavs beat the Heat last night, and now we have an actual Finals, right?

Hope things turn around for the better for you.

That was probably the second best playoff game I've ever seen. King Lakers game 7 I think was epic and 76ers Lajers had a great game too as well as some Cavs Celt games.
I "screamed" at tge TV for the first time since I was like 8 when Jj Barea almost got called for 5 seconds on the inbound and then Dirk's three and that nice lefty layup...

Bout to have my first real long session in about a week or so.

Woah it was actually longer than a week.

I played the way I should play every day today. It was probably my best session ever. I counted contacys for one string and it was 16 and that was a below average string. I was only trying stuff that I can confidently or 5 tines out of 10. So only a few 5s would find their way into today's session. My new(the correct) ducking/diving technique is awesome. Rather than slowly ducking the entire time I wait an then snap into the duck. I hit gyro diving osis x3 first try with it today. Of course I could not repeat that later on but it was cool.
I was actually really suprised with how today's session turned out. Since it was windy I was not expecting ducking to be my strongpoint but it was. My spinning sucked though. I did seem to be tailing off but that might have been the wind and since I was not on in my usual shred spot, that has disctinct markings on the ground, I could not tell exactly how far I was from where I started the string.

Got some new footbag shorts and stuff today. :) But can anyone tell me where to get some fucking lacoste shirts so that I'm not paying $80. That is pretty absurd.
Not really anything exciting footbag-wise except improved consistency and flipside.

I don't really feel like writing this post but I had a really good session today. It is one of those sessions that you remember.
It was a short session today because it was really hot. Then it rained a lot so there was some awesome steam.
Ok, now on to the footbag highlights. I did this one drill that was nice, fluid, a contained a few links that I like. That drill is spinning osis> infinity> gyro diving clipper. How styley is that? I also hit spinning ducking clipper x8. I was pretty excited about that. A few nice double spinning osii. I landed a few to far butterfly. I had a few blurs and rips bs. Kind of strange how I hit spinning ducking clipper x8 but my favorite highlight is hitting blur like 6 times bs.

Today was one of those days were you think "I'm not bad but those guys are really good." This post will mostly be me talking about my session today, metaphorically jerking off to good footbaggers, and rambling.

Just now as I write this and look back on today's session do I realize I hit a 7. The old me would have been jumping for joy but now I don't give a shit. I did not hit what I was going for so where is the positive outcome. For the record I wanted morpheus but hit spinning ducking paradox DaDa Curve. I can not even imagine throwing another dex on the end. Ricky, get the fuck out. Really? Spinning ducking paradox mofly? That is a fucking joke.

I also hit spinning ducking osis back to back starting on both sides. I mean that is cool and all but so many people can hit that. There are like 20 people can hit spinning ducking osis x5.

Surging is becoming easier despite working on it once every two weeks. That is a set I'd eventually like to become good at be really who is actually good at surging? Five fucking people and they all hit ubcleab surge too often. It is such a fucking difficult set to clear. Even FZ pulls them from time to time.

I filmed for like thirty minutes today and I didn't really get anything video worthy. I had long runs but they had too many osis> osis> spinning clipper> spinning ducking clipper combos in it. That is a pretty commmon combo in my runs. The two osii for control then a nice spinning lipper and finallt the spinning ducking to pick up speed.

I BOP way too fucking much. Like that above combo is good and all but like blender> spinning ducking osis is a sweet combo that I can hit but don't ever do. Obviously few people can bail to that but like to regain a little control...I don't know... whatever...I BOP/Osis too much and it gets a littlr boring sometimes. I need to cut them out!!!

Some of these fucking kids are so good at footbag. Like fucking Pekka Raitio. That guy is out of his fucking mind. Nobody talks about that guy or even seems to recognize his insanity. He make montage rake look like nothing. Hitting big tricks is one thing but making them look easy is another thing. He also has one of the cleanest styles in the world and it is not boring like some of the people that some people are so fond of.

I took a small break from footbag. Taking a break is a good thing especially when you play on cement.
Today I wanted to focus on two tricks. The first trick was maelstrom and the second was far (symple? I think I do them sympley) swirl. I would've worked on montage but I suck cock at footbag. Anyway I didn't hit anything cool today so yeah I don't know why I am writing this. Alright I am going to write some stuff nobody, not even people in real life, know about me.

-When I was 5 years old I was at a McDonalds and I accidently got BBQ sauce instead of Ketchup and I have not had ketchup since!
-I love board games! Mancala, othello, checkers, chess, yahtzee, life, monopoly, battleship whatever you want I'll fucking play. Fuck there was this game with dolphins and shit that I woult play in this kids basement...man I want to play that again. If you know what I'm talking about tell me the name of that game. Every remembers having so much fun with the game but not what you actually did or the name.
-I know almost, if not every, every word to Lion King and I watched it for the first time in like 13? years last month. I don't play games.
-I suck so much at skateboarding. I don't understand how people can do that stuff.
-I hate scary movies. Why do people like them?
-I hate those big sunglasses that girls wear. On the other hand those small reading glass type glasses (i dont know shit about glasses i dont have them) are very sexy.
-I used to be terrified of heights!!! Now i am not and I find that fear pretty irrational. I do have a fear of dying like in general but I think most people do. I mean living is cool and shit.
-I'm not sure if I find pets cool or not. When I'm older I'll let my kid get a pet but I don't think they are ever as cool as you think they will be.
-I hate when people smoke.

If you wanna get good at big tricks like Maelstrom, you need to master all of the smaller components of it. You need to own pickups, whirls, spinning clipper, ducking clipper, spinning ducking clipper, spinning pdx whirl, pdx whirl, and tomahawk. Trust me, it's so much easier to work on smaller aspects of tricks to hit the bigger one. It's weird and I can't explain it, but there is this magical trickle-down effect where, when you get sick at all of the smaller components of a big trick (ie. Vortex: You get sick at drifters and gyro clippers) the bigger trick will be a piece of cake. I actually challenge you to take one big trick you want to hit and break it up into it's separate smaller parts, then school those small tricks throughout a series of a couple weeks, and when you feel very comfortable with the small tricks, combine them and try to hit the bigger one. You'll be surprised... I know I was. If you complete this challenge successfully, and feel what I'm talking about, then I suggest you school your basics and freestyle will be so much easier for you.

Meant with intent to help.

Yeah, I know what you're talking about. Hatchet is also a key move. It wasn't an hour session where I hit two maelstroms. It was a pretty "chill" session if you know what I mean.

Challenge accepted. I kind of have been working towards/on this. I want to hit triple spinning osis and spinning ducking spinning osis. I've been building up to those two tricks. I am nowhere close to being able to hit the first one or being able to consistently hit the second. On July 29th I will attempt to hit spinning ducking spinning osis. I will not attempt this trick before then. I think being able to hit spinning ducking osis will be more important the double spinning osis but I will need to be able to hit both on command.
Meant with intent to help.

Hmmm.

Played today but it was inside in a small area. I was hitting spinning butterfly swirls and things in that general family of tricks. Jesus christ! Juho makes spinning butterfly swirl look way to easy! Hitting that trick cleany is not easy.

Been feeling kind of weird lately. I think it is this girl. I like her and I think she likes me but I dont think either one of us wants a relationship. Weird.

I was debating this with one of my friends. If you could live say 80 years would you live the 80 years just straight through like in real life or would you have your age paused at any point so you could be 10 years old for 70 years. I sided with the latter. I'd want to be 18. That seems like the perfect age.

90's music rocks. I've been listening to some of the shit I liked when I was little damn. "Jump around jump around jump around" "my ananconda dont want none unles you got buns hun" Oh nostalgia. I hate thinking about my childhood. Not that it was bad... it is just like no responsibilities dayumm.

Yo.

So I was watching this Anderson Cooper interview with Eminem and apparently Eminem writes down every rhyme he thinks of.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCbtvBEPPs8

How awesome is that? Just cruisin down some street and you think of a footbag combo boom you write it down. I am going to try that. It will probably last all of one day but I already wrote some combos down. Some are doable some are not but here are some of the stylier not doable right now ones but they are not that hard they just look cool in my opinion.

diving drifter> nuclear symposium whirl rpt
whirr> inspinning clipper> rev swirl rpt
spinning butter swirl>zulu clipper>bullship >void rpt
azitg> superfly>dsc rpt :D

Imagine just having like a fucking box of links just like this that you can just sift through like the night before an event or something. I know when I think of footbag combos there all the same except for the ones I forget. I mean a typical combo I remember is one that I have seen 800 times. (ie pdx torque> pdx torque, side>rip>, blur>dim, those stupid shred 30 combos) I mean the combos above are not that hard I can hit azitg>dsc but whatever. I think this will be cool but probably not. I encourage you guys to try this. When you're at a red light or just driving by yourself just think about footbag and right down all the sweet combos.

Great idea. I try to do this in with my artwork. I should totally try it in footbag too!

Gonna play tomorrow. :D :D :D
Gonna work on both sides and try to improve and stuff. I wanna work on 4 things tomorrow.
1. Flipside: I can barely double spin with my flip and my gyro diving on my flip is pretty bad along with a much worse consistency.
2. Mirages: I am good enough to be able to hit a big move once with them but I am not good enough to hit medium moves consistently.
3. Butters: I do not really ever drop these but they do not look the way I want them and I suck at ducking butters and spinning ducking butters
4. Stepping: Never really use it so it sucks but I did hit crispy torque X10 and x5 or something on my flip a long time ago so well see where that is at.

hopefully no pain

Good luck with your schooling tomorrow dude. I just heard back from my friend but apparently he switched plans. Rather than E. Stroudsburg, he'll be at Millersville. However, Jim Thorpe is 30 minutes away from East Strouds and I know at least one kicker lives there. Visit THIS thread. And you could contact Dale about this kid probably.

Still hurts to play.

I wanted to work on my editing skills so I edited some videos I had of other people to see what I could come up with. It sucks! Editing is harder than I remember or maybe you think everything is good when you are little. But yeah if you wanna give some feedback for how I can edit better here is the link. I'm not in it cuz I suck and Im hurt but yeah the shred level is very high editing is very poor.

I posted two videos of me fucking around with windows live moviemaker. I hated windows like movie maker. It was so fucking basic! I downloaded sony vegas trial! I am fucking loving it. It is 2:13 and I can not sleep. Making something look the way you want just feels so fucking awesome. Every time you watch a video, not just footbag, and something feels off you can pretty much fix it with sony vegas. Shit is off the hook! I have to torrent this later but I need a keygen I think. :?

Got a lot better at video editing today. I still suck but I know some stuff now. I made like 5 short videos today. Here is number two. I like this one just for the last transition. The first one sucked and the last three had some default clips from windows in them.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zVizbzuqrZU

How sexy is that last transition. OMG Johnny throws the bag on the ground Jorden picks it up in basically the same spot. Oh yeah. The other stuff meh. Just fooling around and half of it is sped up.

Played today...no pain. Getting back into the swing of things and I suck. I was a lot worse at everything besides whirls. I got whirr first try. 8O I can not remember the last time I hit that or if I've even hit that. It was one of the cool whirrs, the kind where you make big circles with your leg. Anywho, I was pretty bad. Gyro diving osis> spinning ducking osis second try was alright. I hit some double spinning tricks which made me happy. I was expecting to have to wait and build back up to those. The same goes for in-spinning tricks although those were not as dialed in. The thing I was happiest most about was spinning ducking clipper x4 >hand-catch first try, smooth as can be. Pendulous double dyno...first try. My swirls were alright but nothing great. Stepping was meh. Surging was bleh...atleast on my strong side but my flip was a little more promising. Oh geez! My flipside was fucking horrendous. Wow! I thought it was bad before. Butterfly swirls were not good at all. I footed bullwhip everytime. I need to drill barflys though, I know. I almost hit some cool stuff while going for some things. But that is just the product of my form not being in tip-top shape.  So yeah.

-My webcam sucks major dick.
-Gyro diving osis x5 is pretty cool. Suck it ricky.
-More people should gyro dive. It is so addhunty.
-Insinning osis is not a 5.
-Dexs are tough.
-I can't shuffle.
-Pendulous double dyno is my easiest double dex followed by swixie near swirl.
-Plane tickets are expensive.
-Watched some Lost reruns today.
-That chick Clair from lost is so hot. 8O
