The Inshredible Bulk: Not Trending, Not Roll Spiking Either
DSC_0005 by airzeke, on Flickr
My power supply fried everything in my computer in October of 09. Because of a tight budget and lack of motivation (mostly due to an x-box 360) It took a little over a year to get it back and running. In between purchases of major components, I made several modifications to my Antec SLK3700 BQE case. Some mods are for cable management, some for more efficient cooling. Most are just for the hell of it! This is the first time I've (re)built a PC or made any kind of mods. It's been a fun and enlightening process. I'm definitely building another machine for myself in another couple of years
Again, infinite thanks to Tom for all his time and effort to actually make my PC work!

Check the Stevie Wonder impression at about the 6:50 minute mark in game 2. I'll try and finish game 3 by tonight. I need a nap

Transformer_004 by airzeke, on Flickr
Sketch for my nieces based on their daddy's 98 Jeep Cherokee. Freehand with pencil and marker. I'm never mentioning transformers around them again
Did a solo wallball practice yesterday. It was warm enough. I could have called Ronnie but I just needed a light workout with focus on kicking shit really hard and not dealing with people.
I want to feel more comfortable trying sunbacks, toe reverses and scuffs in game. Sunbacks take a lot of energy for me to hit! I also noticed that I'm barely off the ground when I contact the bag. This was pretty much the same problem with my side axe (& the few roll spikes I've tried). I swing my kicking leg right after I jump instead of waiting just a split second so I can elevate then strike. Practice, practice, practice.

kick the leaves in the trees (or other aerial target).
The key is to find a target whose height feels comfortable, and then never kick that low again. Train with higher targets, preferably 4-6 inches higher than seems typical.
The emphasis should be on a solid, safe landing where you don't fall to the ground.

@ Jer - We felt the same way when Emily left for Santa Cruz
@ Elliot - Ya, I didn't see an event listing or results posted. Steve Dusablon posted vids though. I'll add a link later. How's fatherhood treating you?
