Infinity to 25:

7 14 18 25
7 25
15 25
25
4 15 17 21 25

Osis for 10 minutes:

10 14 1 4 2 6 8 1 5 10 18 1 4 2 5 7 17 2 10 5 8 1 10 9

Tiltless to 25:

12 15 25
2 14 25
15 18 25
10 15 25
14 15 22 25

There's the data from my first mostly successful attempt at Roy's training with tracking. What those numbers represent is each number I dropped after. So to examine the first Infinity set so I remember what I did here... I did seven successful infinities and then I dropped. When I started again I kept counting so my next one was number 8 and I dropped again after 14. Picked up and kept counting, but dropped again after 18, and then I got the last 7 to hand catch. For osis I just wrote down the string lengths of each one. After every drop the count started over since I was going to time and not for a certain number. Tiltless was done just like infinity.

Infinity:

Worst: 2
Best: 25
Average: 8.9

Osis:

Worst: 1
Best: 18
Average: 6.7

Tiltless:

Worst: 1
Best: 14
Average: 7.8

This was followed by a Body Weight Workout.

Half Chin-Up:

Plank:

Jumping Jacks:

Did you see the latest Clone Wars? Super cute and touching! Easily one of my favourites so far! I love Ithorians. And the wookie was super cute! Baby Jedi!

I find that for drills like tiltless to 25 and infy to 25, the drop average is an indicative stat.

For example, tiltless to 25, your drop average is 2.2 per run.

I suggest trying to duplicate this session a few times and see if the stats comparison tell you anything.

They are really cute. I think the ithorian is my favorite. If I ever do the pen and paper RPG for Star Wars my character will be an Ithorian for sure.

I will do the same workout tomorrow and see what I come up with. Thanks for the feed back.

You know those days where you're just on? The days when it seems your shoes are coated in superglue and your bag is the size of a marble and filled with helium? The days where you feel you just can't miss? Like you've found a way to channel your inner Vasek and you flow from link to link?

Today was not one of those days.

Did TMT Yoga yesterday.

Wasn't feeling it today so I only did about 10 minutes of footbag and one round of the BW Workout. I did manage a full chin up though.

Lol! Yup.. not many people know that before they became ninjas they put out yoga videos.

The weekend was bad food wise, but I did do my planned Ten Minute Trainer (TMT) Yoga Flex, plus a bonus TMT Core Cardio because my sister wanted to do it.

Just finished my Footbag and sort of Body Weight workout...

In other news we got a video camera over the weekend. I filmed the footbag portion of my workout tonight and I am very displeased with the result. The footage is very grainy and I had the camera set to the highest setting (22 min on a 4gb card HD). I need to read the manual and play around with settings I guess. Tips?

Bah. Had some computer trouble last night. Ended up formatting and starting fresh, which really sucks because I'm hoping to get a new SSD in the next few weeks so I'll be doing this all over again. Anyway, I have it mostly set up the way I like it again. On Thursday I did TMT Yoga Flex and last night I did my footbag and BW workout.

I do believe all my numbers were up over Wednesday so that's nice to see.

(how do we embed them?)

Body Weight Squat:
20 reps (+13 pts)
20 reps (+13 pts)

Kneeling Push-Up:
10 reps (+5 pts)
10 reps (+5 pts)
10 reps (+5 pts)
Body Weight Lunge:

20 reps (+24 pts)
20 reps (+24 pts)

30 jumping jacks (+9 pts)
30 jumping jacks (+9 pts)
Aerobic Dance Class:

Footbag

And the first chin up of each set was actually a real chin up instead of a negative but I'm not sure an easy way to track that so it'll just stay like this until I can do all in the set regular.

Watched Where the Ends tonight. That led to my first session in months.

Much to say really. Got to 18 tiltless. Messed around trying to hit pixie knee bumping spinning clipper. It didn't work. Probably because I haven't figure out how to spin to or from anything but clipper. As I sit here taking this out on my phone I notice a tweak in my neck. Hopefully not serious. Gym in the morning. Work tonight. Then a drive to Saskatchewan right after the gym. My sister is in the process of a miscarriage. Going to be an emotional weekend for sure.

Hope to write again soon.

Return of the Shred-i!

Great to see you back into it man! I've also been watching Where The Ripwalk Ends recently… every night while falling asleep.. for the past 2 weeks. Do I have a problem? :P

Nice job on getting to 18 tiltless during your first session back. Sounds like you're picking it up again quickly. I will be keeping up with this, now that you're posting again.

Sorry to hear about the unfortunate news in the family. Best prayers to every one.

Thanks Nick! Things aren't really getting better on the family front. My sister is taking the loss hard (which is totally understandable and I know the feeling  ). When my wife and I lost our child we really leaned on each for support. I don't think my sister even likes her husband. It really annoys me. I've never heard her say one nice thing about or to him. Oh, and my mother in law had a major breakdown while travelling with my wife and managed to smash our windshield with a coffee cup. Ya, I love family...

OK, with THAT out of the way. I kicked today. I didn't mean it to be over a week before I kicked again, but there it is. The neck tweak and work stress (recently got promoted at the Frito Lay plant I work at) kept me out.

Today I tried to implement some of Nick's drilling ideas into my game. I don't have fancy whiteboards so I used evernote.

Here is my components list.

And the drills I did today are:

Stepping hand catch 5 time bs
Pixie hand catch 5 time bs
Leg over > mirage RPT x5
Smear 5 times bs
Plo 5 time bs

And as a note that should change as I change the drills I'm working on.

I got the drills without too much trouble. They tired me out since I'm super out of shape, but I was able to do them all. It did surprise me that I got the steps since I wasn't sure I could still step. I never ever got even decent at them, so it's nice that they are sort of there. I want to work towards being able to shuffle, so I figure having a set I can use to shuffle out of clipper is essential. Anyone have tips on stepping? Advice? a video I should study?

Sorry to hear the rough family times. It is nice to see you back in the game and back on modified though. Props on the promotion at work too. What do you do?

For stepping, I think its hard to beat consecutive stepping ss clippers. Stepping ss clipper-stepping far clipper repeat is another good one. It's a lot harder to cheat a stepping set with stepping ss clipper than it is with stepping ss butterfly.

For stepping, maybe make a video of yourself and it would be easier to give feedback :)

Yeah I agree, bummer about the family stuff man :/

I was going to say exactly what Ken mentioned. Same with Pixie. If you're going to use my method (which it's awesome that you are! Thanks!), you should change the Pixie to Pixie ss Clipper (or if that's hard right now, go for op until that gets really easy) and Stepping Clipper (or ss Butterfly… Some say 1, some say the other.. I have no idea.) Looking forward to this ride.

Some comments I left in your stream in case you were unable to see them aftward:
4:01 ErikChan: Heyy Tony
4:01 ErikChan: youre almost off camera
4:02 ErikChan: aim up and to your right
4:02 ErikChan: I mean left
4:03 ErikChan: oh thats better if you just play in front of it :p still cant see head tho
4:08 ErikChan: nice bothsided picie sets
4:11 ErikChan: Aww it's not as fun if you cant interact :(
4:11 ErikChan: The video is smooth enough though, just audio is delayed. But fine enough quality
4:12 ErikChan: nice rev swirls!
4:24 ErikChan: Who is AddBlock again?
4:27 ErikChan: Aww, wish I could give advice or make requests. Livestreaming isnt the same otherwise

Gyro clippers looked good, but you should spot faster on spinning. Turn your head fast and your body will follow. Fun to watch, but would be way more fun with chat. Also, there were a few others in the chat at one point, but I had a feeling that you didnt have permissions set to allow non-registered users to chat, so here's how to fix that: channel settings > choose channel on left > chat > chat settings > "allow anonymous visitors to chat also" (instructions for on a computer anyway, may be different on mobile)

Thanks Erik!

The advice is appreciated. I'll try to incorporate it. Did you catch my stepping sets? I should have them on video so I'll try to get that up soon.

It seems like some of my settings didn't stick. When I set up my channel, I did it from my PC and I made sure to both set it to chat and disable social stream and set is to anonymous visitors could chat. Near the end of my session I had the bright idea to tune into my broadcast while signed out of uStream on my tablet. The idea was just so I could see chat and respond and whatnot. I didn't see chat. I only saw the social stream, which I thought I had disabled. This DID bring about a different and somewhat interesting realization. I could basically play for a while, stop and then watch the instant replay since the broadcast came to my tablet about a minute late. That was about the time I moved the camera to give a better angle. It was really hard to see where I was shooting since I had my phone propped up against a rolled up yoga mat on the floor.

Thanks for tuning in! I hope to do it again sometime.

For me, the Social Stream wasn't even visible, so maybe you just needed to refresh on your tablet or something?
