I like all the Symple Reverse Swirls. That Motion > Dyno drill was sick.
Josh Gayhart ... keeping footbag tuff since 2002.

Great highlights, man! I like your music selection, too. Heard some Daft Punk, Queen, and Ratatat in there.

rev swirl is my bread and butter

today I hit : torque-symple rev swirl-drifter-symple rev swirl-rpt

Actually hit it yesterday too, but today on camera :)

Also footed twice: pdx whirl - dlo - drifter - barfly - rpt, damn flip barfly! Got to work on this some more, great to get those fundamental tricks more dialed

Nice drills.
I find the hardest part about drills like this is remembering which trick comes in which order!

vegas: booked, probably competing in all categories, doing 2 bag one foot guiness record

NYJ: pending, might be last minute, would leave montreal the 28th at 7PM and it's 9hours drive. maybe I should check with toronto but it's a late departure

Alex is going. He also mentioned that Nori is thinking about going from Montreal, so maybe check on that? I maaay be going, but I'm not sure yet. We'd probably drive down to London, meet up with Cassy, and go from there... something like that.

Good luck with the world record!

yeah the thing is if I go I would leave montreal on the friday around 4-5PM, pretty rough 9-10hours drive brings me in detroit at roughly 2-3AM on saturday. That's why for now it's a last minute thing

I been sick a bit lately but still trained

last night 1 routine attempt: dropless, 1 2bag attempt: 85, both success! played a bit and hit some new combos including spikehammer-smoke-far rev swirl

great time at nyj
still tired from so much road and shred; within 57 hours I did 20 hours of driving and 10 hours of shred, that did not leave much for sleeping within a 3 days spawn!

Today I got to play with Ianek, we stretched a 30-45min session into a 2+ hours sess. No big shred mostly fooling around and talking between runs, we had a very good time.

for nyj I had my best stuff on saturday, played 5.5 hours, did lots of good stuff but can't recall. On sunday another 4.5 hours but not as good

I did get step ss symple rev swirl to mullet first try, and 3 times out of 4 attempts! also step ss symp blink, after footing it tons of times.

Got to do my first battle comp, was amazingly fun, will do this again and need to prepare my game plan for it because I had no idea how to react to drop, or what tricks to go for. But I had one of my favorite competition moments in my first round, I wanted to finish a turn with tons of ss symp rev swirl, I did between 2 and 4 and then the counter started saying 5 4 3 2 1 for time limit and I just kept adding more and more, something like 7-9 in a row. It was just so good I'm hoping to catch this on a video someone filmed if lucky. The crowd went wild and I felt like work was well accomplished :D

Was good to drive with Erik Chan as well, such a footbag monument, he's been around for so long and we shared a good amount of footbag history

ok bed time work tomorrow!

turns out if was 9 symple rev swirl in a row, most I've done in comp by far :D

No shred until next week, taking the week off after a sess with Ianek on january 1st. This weekend is baby 1st birthday! Will be pretty busy with this so it's a good timing with no shred happening.

I will get back to shred monday or tuesday I beleive.

Goals before worlds (even if I don't go) with difficulty

1- Warm up before sessions, not just go straight guiltless (easy)
2- Lose 15 pounds (easy)
3- Do more yoga (medium, because we don't have so much time ot fit everything we want to do)
4- Get in better shape, do more sit-ups and push-ups (easy if I do it in the morning when everyone sleeps)
5- Get 3 new routines ready (can use an old song, but need to write new coregraphy) (hard, because by ready I'm talking dropless or 2 drop max on a bad performance) so that is a lot of practice and preparation) I have 1 new song ready that I feel confortable with. need to find 2. But I do love my zelda violin song and also I'm aiming stealing an old violin song from someone in 2005 worlds, we shall see, one at a time.

I do not have any tricks/links/concept goals, I think if I get these goals done, my game will place itself by just showing up and practicing and I will capitalise on whatever works out better on the way.
