Hey, I dunno if anyone on here remebers me. I started off shreding around this time last year. Was going good for like 6 months. Then stopped and since then have picked it up again.

Had first shred in like 5 months today. Only lasted like 30 mins cause my stamnia is total crap. Everything seems to be going good, legs arnt as fast as they used to be. So we should see how its goes.

Just had a 40min shred, and I am really happy with it. Was hitting just 2 move titless strings for awhile. I can finally do them with speed and not have to stall them for like a few seconds. Still working on some new moves, should be getting some g-unit g6's hopefully.

Thanks,
Shaun

Yo Shaun! Keep at it man, you just have to find some inspiration to help keep you motivated :)

Here are some drills for you that should whip those legs back into shape (all repeated, of course):

ATW > Legover
ATW > Pickup
Mirage > Pickup
Mirage > Legover
Illusion > Legover
Illusion > Pickup
Mirage > ss Clipper
Clipper > Same Clipper > Op Clipper

Great 50min shred today. Was very pleased, this being only my 3rd shred since starting again. Stuff I hit:

legover>legover (bothsides)
spining toe (strongside)
legover>in atw (flipside)
legover>in atw>legover (flipside)

Shred was great, can't wait to get my g6's in about to weeks. Go shred!!

Thanks,
Shaun

45 min shred. Things I hit

plo(first double dex) on strongside
out atw>legover on flipside
pixie on strongside
in atw>pixie on strongside

came close to spining op toe. Need to work flip atws alot more. My toe stalls felt like crap today, same with sets.

Thanks,
Shaun

Not good shred. Only went for 20 mins. My toe stalls are stupid. I can't get over 20. I have no idea why, I have been training both sides, and doing alternates to. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Shaun

I think self-motivation is important.

As for toes... here's some random tips:

- cushion by bending support knee while simultaneously lowering delaying leg.

- picture a crosshair on the middle of the toe and try to line the bag up with it when you delay

- if the bag keeps rolling off the front of the toe, try tilting your foot back a bit.

- set by launching the support knee and bringing the delaying foot back up. launching with support knee is the key to getting high toe sets

- try standing on one foot with the bag on your toe and move your foot up and down at different speeds and try to *feel* when exactly the bag is leaving your foot (set) or coming back into contact with your foot (delay).

- try doing a toe stall, pausing for a couple seconds, and then setting it to op toe > rpt the pause. Really focus on keeping balanced on one foot.

- practise toe sets/stalls over and over again.

and lastly

- don't give up.

Not a footbag related update. Just a reg blog update cause I feel like writing some stuff, let you guys know how the last week has been going.

Been starting to play alot more pc games, hoping that this won't start taking up alot of my time, espically an addicting game like Guild Wars. Just started dating this chick that my best friends girlfriend is friends with, so we can like go on double dates and stuff(sounds corny). They both go to different school, and me and my friend were talking, and say it is kinda a good thing, cause we would end up ditching all of our friends at the school we go to,to hang out with them in school. Shes always busy with soccer and work, but soccer is over soon, and I think we are hanging out monday. Been getting into bmx alot, I got a new bike like a week ago,and have had tons of fun just going out and riding and messing around with tricks. Footbag is so so, I might have a shred today. I am still not sure if I wanna keep going with it,or just start bmxing alot. My g6's should be here in a few days. So we shall see.

Thanks,
Shaun

Just had a 1 and a 1/2 hour shred. My right hip has been feeling a bit sore, but it seems to be getting better.

31 strongside toe stalls
18 flipside toe stalls
pixie>out atw>legover on strongisde
and flipside illusion after drilling it hard for ike 15 mins straight at end of shred.

36 Strongisde toe stalls
flipside pickup
pickup>in atw>legover

all jsut hit in shred, as far as mvoes go,my flipside is better then my strongside, but my strongside has better stalls.
